Today I moved some of my miners from one data center to another. About 34 TH or so in hw.
4x S4's
15x SP20's
1x S5
1x S3
3x S1's
Power cables for all
PSU's for all (and some SuperNova G 1300's)
cat5's

It all fit rather perfectly in the trunk of my Volvo lol.

The Volvo rig!! That might be the coolest one! Cheesy
Don't give any ideas, I can definitely see someone making their tesla into a mobile mining rig and constantly getting their free charges for the car.

Please, please, please!!!
And use the A/C to cool off the rig!!
Oh, and take pictures of the whole process!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
That would be awesome in an old VolksWagen Transporter!! Cheesy

S5 service going on  Grin

My late cat wouldn't be that helpful. Especially when she wanted something right now like petting, pouring fresh water she wouldn't drink then, get me out of my chair so she could sit in and crave the claws... Cheesy
Never the less I loved her... Sometimes I miss her...
But for now, I can't have another pet as I don't have the appropriate conditions to have one.

Anybody noticed the hot wall plug?
You should check out a run-of-the-mill vacuum or electric mower.. plugs can get a bit warm, nothing wrong with that.  Plus I'm not sure that's the plug rather than the meter on there.  And, of course, there's no scale Smiley

Yes, I know that, but you're right, there's no scale :p I'd wonder if it is hotter than a vacuum cleaner, as I myself, never run it more than 30 min.
But I had a soldering machine and I've melted some plugs back then!

Very nice flir image!  Not to often do we get to see those.
Thanks it's my new toy, iPhone Flir accessory for 200 bucks couldn't pass it up.
I hope there are at least 2 other fans on the other side of that radiator  Undecided
3 of the stock fans of course, wire harness had an fan extra plug so I used it.
Anybody noticed the hot wall plug?
The plug is really only a little warm. about 700 watts flowing there.

Here are a couple more I took just before I tore them down for ebay sales this week.

Nice, how fast can this think go? Probably going to be really useful when winter comes. Warm your feet!!! Smiley

Not sure, but I'm going to find out.  I think 400GH or so.  Can undervolt to 250GHish at .75w.GH, supposedly.

Very nice setup.  Please share results.  I have not seen much of this miner before.  Mind if I ask ballpark of cost?

Seems expensive with such a nice cooling system.

$20 for the miner itself, the rest of the stuff I've used so far I had laying around(I've been mining for a while, you accumulate...stuff).  This is basically just something for me to tinker with.

Daammmnnn... where do I find those for that price in Europe?! 'sigh'... Smiley

Aahahahah it's really cheap! Maybe he invested with icos in some project :\

For the money I have, I'd buy 5 in the next week, if they were for that price.
Well, I guess I'll just lay on my bed tonight thinking on them... :p

ahahahah,  now you have to post the photos of your next start!

I'd love to take pictures of my dreams... Cheesy

My new bastard HEX4M.  Bit of tinkering with some used Cointerra coolers and I managed to clear the SMD components to get the waterblocks mounted properly.  I know it's not going to make any money, but it will be fun to mess about with, anyway! Smiley

Keep up the good work guys!

http://buttcoin.org/mining-rigs-3

I see somebody is amused by my work..
Don't worry - you'll never see anything of his in there, since he lacks creativity!
If he had any he'd built something, instead of sitting on his butt all day round clicking!!

get over it. these used to mine bitcoin, and already people are having a big-enough hissy fit over it to create a 'no-scrypt mining rig' thread for people like you

IMHO: that other thread is stupid. I like seeing GPU rigs regardless of what they mine. they are creative, home-made, and often finely tuned. The pictures of ASICs are just a shiny box in the corner or a half-filled USB hub (which is almost just as big a waste of money as mining bitcoins on a GPU)

since GPU mining for scrypt coins isn't bitcoin, aren't posts here about it in the wrong place? shouldn't they be posted in the altcoins section? So of course GPU mining is looked down on. it is either unprofitable or being talked about in the wrong place. (Bitcoin Snob here)

I agree that GPUs should be banished from this thread since they are no longer viable for bitcoin mining to make a profit.
Glory to ASIC!

Sorry to burst your bubble but there are distinct and valid reasons to be using GPU in 2014. Or were you trolling?

Some of these rigs people are posting images of cost over $6000, do you really think that they would go to great effort to design and construct these custom systems and not do a few calculations to prove they are viable and profitable?

+1

He must be trolling or ignoring uses for the GPUs...
Also, this is the "Pictures of your mining rigs!" topic, not the "Pictures of your bitcoin mining rigs!".

How are you cooling it and what temps are the cards running at?

You can see from picture. He has "open window mod" .  Cheesy
I bet it is a Zelman branded window!!
Those windows rock in both functions (open or closed)!!

20x Sapphire R9 290
4x Asus M5A99FX PRO
4x Corsair 750w
4x Corsair 1000w
4x HDD 32Go SSD
4x 4Go
4x CPU Sempron
Misc risers
Custom wooden rig, match anyone ? Cheesy

Delivering ~16.6 Mh/s
Burning ~6500W (distributed on 4 circuits of 10 amps each)

Working on a much better 19" rackable rig, cause this beast can't scale no more.
No way I'm going to put a third level on this thing Smiley

That is quite neat! Congrats!

It's a joke.   Doing so would be asking for combustion.

I hope so. I only see fire hazard all the place in that picture: obstructed fans, close to books, over a carpet, with a pillow...
If that's for real, I wonder how long will it take to catch fire and turn the room into ashes.

My current rig in the morning sun today  Cool

That's 2x BFL 60 Gh/s and 2x BFL 7 Gh/s, all with new arctic cooling fans. I also have 30x usb erupters (not pictured), totalling 144 Gh/s now heating my room.

(previous post about this rig here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7216.msg2999470#msg2999470)

Anyone walking pass, realizes that its mining gear, they will have it in a flash, even though they might have to make arrangements for a ladder  Roll Eyes

That's risky, i thought of the same thing.

I thought on where to get the ladder!!! Cheesy
