The speed and time used to process a transaction is major issue cited by many to be major hindrance for its use in real life. It'll be difficult for for shops to operate with it. It will only bring about long waiting cues.

Without inside information it would be difficult to predict the 100% authenticity of ICOs. However some indications include:
- the projects idea: how broad and innovative it is.
- the team: how connected they are and their partnership for the project. Normally the partners have physical interactions with the team, so if the partners are reliable then they can help phish out the fakes. So if no real or established enterprise is partnering with this team on their project then it is suspective.

Bitcoin is a digital currency: although it could be seen as an asset since it generates profits for holders, it should be treated as a currency. Keeping Bitcoin alive as a currency should be the focus of everyone in the crypto community. Because if the coin continues to lose it value it won't be of any use to all those who keep in hoarding it.

 I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Although Bitcoin is a currency it could be seen that holding Bitcoin is proven to be very profitable. This shows how valuable it is.
So even though it is a currency, it could be an asset because of its value.

I think the Blockchain technology is helping and will continue to help businesses to expand. Businesses that are adopting the Blockchain technology now have the chance to rise to international standards through ICOs.
Also the Blockchain ensures equal share and allows the people to get value in the form of rewards and incentives for patronizing the goods or services of the business.
This is not like the traditional systems where investors, board of directors and the workers only gain from the growth of a business.

It is hard to say certainly whether Bitcoin will get accepted and legitimate in all countries or not.
From its current state, many countries have already banned it usage. However, I wouldn't want to underestimate its power, because it has made immense growths since its invention in 2009.

Edit: many of the answers were, whether one should invest in an ICO at all. My question was intended to understand more specifically what's the average person place nowadays in an ICO, IF they participate. I am interested in data, about a typical average ICO investment, not whether anyone should or shouldn't invest in an ICO.
I believe the average investor invests about $500 dollars in an ICO that he/she tryst to have a promising future. Investors of Cryptos are being advised to only invest the amount they're willing to loose. For this reason most are cautious of the amount they invest because it is hard to trust ICOs nowadays. So it also depends on the trust level.

Long term investment is preferred for coins which have value  and its value could match up to it's current star and progress.

To choose a bounty that is legitimate you must first check out the bounty manager and his track record. Also you must check the team behind the project to be certain that they're not scammers. Also read the whitepaper to grasp the idea behind the project, and check if it's innovative enough to attract investors.
To know the income you could get from participating in the bounty, check the bounty pool and the percentage allocation for the specific campaign you want to do whether social media, media or signature and other campaigns.

Moreover you must take a lot of cautions when investing so that you won't loose your money. For the bounty it may pay or may not so one must protect the money you already have and try to earn more.

Long term investment in Crypto should be the desired type. Crypto investment are volatile but have been proven to be very profitable when invested for two years and over. Cryptos like Bitcoin provides a real testimony to support that.

The amount you earn in a month from bounties isn't fixed. Some bounties could do very well and some can fail. So you make a lot of money in some months more than others.

However, the early adapters talk of such incidences in the past where Bitcoin experienced many highs in a year but flawed the following year. Controlling Bitcoin will be impossible though the price and market volatility is a big challenge. However, I believe that if measures could be put in place to ensure that the market is stable enough then it can take away the volatility.
Nevertheless if it'll take some small form of regulation to achieve that then it can really help

Using for your business could go a long way to improve your business. One advantage that such business could have is making transaction easy, secure, fast and with low transaction fees. This can also help the business to attract a lot of crypto adapters worldwide with crypto wealth to take interest in goods or services that the business offer.
However the issue with price volatility or fluctuations could collapse the business or lower sales because it will interfere with purchase.
