This thread gives a lot of thoughs that major part of the network is a botnet. You know... botnet never contribute to the development of the technology, all they care for is mining and selling the coin.
Don't be ridiculous. If the economy were to collapse tomorrow all your "deferred spending" and "future prosperity" did nothing to help it.

Should the rewards be low or high? Does fighting inflation by cutting rewards really help? What block times offer maximum satisfaction?
I personally believe that a consistent reward of 75 at 2 minute block times is the best (so good, I can't even remember what coin it's from)

the major problem with this whole alt con scene is that poeple believe they are dealing in crypto currencies when in fact none of these coins will ever be used for that.
