Milan has signed Estupiñán as their new LB by the way after parting ways with Theo Hernández. A decent signing for a cheap price like 17 million euros.  Smiley
It's good to hear this news from Estupiñán. He has no place in Brighton after his former club signed De Cuyper. He was impactful player on Brighton, but performed so badly last season. He's liability in brighton, and that's the reason why they sold him to Milan.

On other hand, IMO, Milan's decision to get him for 17m looks a bit overpaid. I thought it would acceptable if they get him for 15m or less. It's because he's wildly inconsistent.

🚨💣 Understand Alexander Isak remains a target for Liverpool even after signing Ekitike… but depends on Newcastle.

If Newcastle open doors to an exit and #LFC sell Diaz, they can bid after direct contact made 10 days ago.

Isak, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 in concrete talks with Al Hilal so far.
https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1948346962413031699
This news makes Ekitike's transfer waste of money. It's obvious Liverpool really wanted Isaak, but not wise to waste their resource on Ekitike, while they still have time to change Newcastle's mind. I know Newcastle is in stance not to sale Isaak, but who knows. However, it will be so damn crazy if Liverpool is also signing Isaak, too.

I think most Arsenal fans are just giving their opinion based on his stats when you check the goals Gyökeres have scored and how consistent he's been with it, that's enough for any fan to get exited and hype such player, the fact that he's even got experience in England before moving to Portuguese League is enough to trigger the hype. Anyways it would cause lots of pressure on the player especially if he fails to live up to the standards the fans want him to be he'll get lots of backlash from rivals fans if he doesn't score up to 20+ goals, that's not something new it's the norms in the Premier League, especially when a heavy amount is spent on a particular player.
It most likely true. The problem is that is unacceptable considering EPL ain't portuguese league. It's not relevant to expect Gyokeres to perform as good as he was at his home league. We have some cases when PL fans expected big from non PL proven strikers, but ended with disappointment such as Hojlund, Nunez, Zirkzee.
That's why we can't really expect Gyokeres to score much caused by EPL obviously multiple times harder than his home league.

The most sensical comparison for Gyokerez's case is that Nunez. Nunez scored 26 from 28 matches in Benfica, it's almost 1 goal per game. However, he's a flop when he came to the PL. This is because the different in the level in the league.

No matter how poor Man City performance during that period, they remain a team capable of quickly rebounding. Proving that they can consistently finish in third place doesn't make them look down upon. Next season Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal must make the league more exciting than ever after actively adding new players to the squad.
People always forget the main recipe of City to build their winning team is that Pep + Unlimited money. They have splashed hunreds millions for several players, and more to come. It's only matter of time until Pep will fully utilize his new players, and yeah new winning team is coming. Kinda weird when people doubted them just because they a flop for one season.  Roll Eyes

Milan - Vlahovic can be done.
Vlahovic will most likely leave juventus in this session.
The deal can be discussed in the next week, the problem is the big salary of the player for Ac Milan.
Some players could enter in the deal to cut the expense for Milan.
Big L for Juventus.
No club is willing to pay Vlahovic's non sense salary, which is more than 300k weekly. I'd call it as dumb club who agree to pay 300k weekly for a flop striker like him. Vlahovic doesn't deserve 300k, but even 110k already overpaid for a flop striker that can do nothing like him.
If i were Milan's sporting director, i'd exclude him from team's shortlist of new striker. I have seen enough how bad he was during his time in Juve. He's not even worthy to take a look at.

He posted this later though at least a step..
Heard a new circulating news about Pau victor deal to FC Braga, they already agree with the deal but I don’t think it’s sealed yet but could happen very soon though.. I think they would did a way around it somehow and it’s looking like it already, still waiting if there will be any news after though

Rashford's transfer is no more just a rumor, but it's already official. I saw the clip that shows me how Barcelona store also put his jersey for sale. The only problem is that Barcelona can't register him due to the 1:1 regulation. It's forced the club to selling their player first before they able to register him.
I'm only wondering who is gonna be the sacrificed by Barcelona to register him? De Jong? Ter Stegen, or who?

At least the top six teams have shown their interest for the up coming 2025/2026 English premier League campaign and they have all done well in the transfer market they've all made some great signings, now the question is who will wear the crown? Liverpool arsenal and Chelsea have all gone head to head in signing some real good players and at least Chelsea signings have some how shown their credibility in the just passed FIFA club world cup and no doubt Liverpool and Arsenal have made a good singing too on Florian wirkt and Victor gyokeres, I think these two have a great season in the just passed campaign now let's keep in touch and see how it goes.

Not much different from last season. I still put Liverpool and MCFC as the most potential candidates to win EPL. I don't count Arsenal caused by they may be finishing at the second for four consecutive times. I also put Chelsea and Newcastle darkhorse in competing for the title race.
The competition will be more tightening as all of top clubs in EPL have improved their squad a lot by buying more new players to fix their loopholes.

EPL is the fight about the consistency of team. So, the way of their manager to manage their human resource will play very important thing to win the league. More rotation, less injury will really help them a lot to win EPL.

Re: "Is Bitcoin the ultimate savings tool?"
by

It is.
People usually ignore it but just do a simple calculation, your fiat against bitcoin's growth and see how much return it could give you by simply holding it.
Bitcoin outperform gold, and other assets including all fiat in this world. It is the ultimate saving tool but majority of people aren't noticing it yet.

If it's not an ultimate savings tool considering the growth between decades, then I wonder what is, nothing else outperforms bitcoin.

The youtuber probably thinks that btc will peaked when altcoin season is happening.
Me personally will still hold my bitcoin. I always taking into account the fragmentation of liquidity on altcoin and the fact that big chunk of BTC inflow is coming from ETF where they don't have the chance to rotate to altcoin besides ETH.

If you truly want to get on the altcoin season you need to be wise in choosing which altcoin to invest.
However if your target of holding BTC is for long term, these altcoin season things are just meaningless noise.

Re: Are Stable Coins keeping Ethereum alive?
by

This is complex topic but I believe there are many ways trump can impose ban to tether like not allowing the use of dollar to peg their USDT and I agree that ETH value will plummet if stablecoin suddenly vanish.

Otherwise when will bitcoin gets its own stable coin on its own layer 2 to compete with ethereum? Layer 2's none of that sidechains nonsense that leverage no security from layer 1's.
There are plenty of L2 with its own stable for bitcoin, but never truly get the spotlight because people trust bitcoin much more than those L2 and if they want to do smart contract related activity they go to ETH where liquidity is not scarce compared to L2.

Re: Everyone talks about "utility" in crypto…
by
JeffBrad12
on 24/07/2025, 04:37:17 UTC
Why do so many crypto projects talk about “utility” when what they’re really offering is speculation dressed up with buzzwords?

We’re told a token has "utility" because it can be staked or used in a game or gives access to some vague future roadmap. But real utility should solve real problems problems like trust, verification,

and liquidity in an ecosystem plagued by scams, misinformation, and illiquid assets.

what's your own standard way of judging project utility ?
That's unfortunately the truth, most of altcoin are just buzz words nothing more.
I consider something like ethereum as an utility coin, they provide infrastructure for smart contract codes to run.
But sometime you see some altcoin considering governance and staking feature as utility while in reality that's just circular economy, basically stake this coin to get more of this coin, that's where it turns garbage.

Hugo Ekitike isn’t a top tier striker but he will perform extraordinary well in Liverpool in replacement for Darwin Nunez if he leaves this summer.
Even though Ekitike is not a top tier striker Liverpool decided to sign him because they wanted something from him and hopefully he gives it all, as we can say from his performance in PSG and Frankfurt. Liverpool are currently in need of strikers because of the tragic lost of Jota and the possible departure of Nunez this transfer window.

How do you know if Ekitike will perform well in Liverpool? He ain't perform well in Frankfurt. Scored few, and struggle. Let's not expect big from him. He joins in a solid club, but not guarantee he will perform even better than Nunez.
He ain't face a single game in PL, which is far harder than Bundesliga. You can say he's good that after you see with your eyes how bad or good he will perform. The better to always lower your expectation.  Cheesy

Juventus halted Sancho transfer because they just signed Francisco Conceicao, and they don't have enough funds to sign Sancho. They're planning on selling one of their winger in order for them to raise funds for the signing of Sancho. If Juventus did not succeed on selling either Nico Gonzalez or Timothy Weah, they might not be able to bring Sancho in. No club wants to add more players to their squad without selling to replace.
You must be joking, right? Juve signed Conceicao for €30m, while Sancho only cost them €25m. This transfer is so stupid as hell considering how average Conceicao is. He recorded 3 goals 3 assits from 26 games with Juve last season. He's so damn average, and they get scammed by Porto. Although, they paid him in four installments, still not worthy.

People are sleeping on City, you may like them or hate them but they were 4 time winners up until last season. Yes they had a bad season last year, I agree, but they are going to do better I believe. Do I have any data to back that up? Of course not, but I am just guessing like everyone else.

Just because Liverpool bought some great players on top of the title win, doesn't make them suddenly better, they may end up having issues, who knows? But most shows them as leading candidate, isn't that a guess? What if Wirtz gets injured? All of these are guess, and I guess City is the best team yet again, as long as Guardiola is there, he will figure out a way to get this team back on its feet with the new players he got and will do a great job.
Surprised to see how people saw City's fourpeat like it was nothing. They forget how Pep is getting serious in rebuilding back his winning team, and deserve a candidate to win PL next season. Yeah they and Liverpool are two teams who will be the title contender.
I've dropped Arsenal from the title race caused by they're not serious team. I think we may see the same winner for the next season or City may also comeback. THere's a reason why Pep sign a lot of players is to win another PL.  Cheesy

It's more of seeking for additional profit. Altcoin season usually happens once bitcoin is having a big rally. To maximize profit at time like this you need to rotate your profit from bitcoin to altcoin before it's going up.
It could be true to some extent but just because altcoin season happens in previous cycle doesn't mean it will happen right after bitcoin bullrun again.

It's more of a bet in my opinion where you're betting the bitcoin dominance to dump so sharp and altcoin price increase.

Re: Is DCA Still the Smartest Strategy in This Stage of the Cycle?
by
JeffBrad12
on 21/07/2025, 05:18:14 UTC
It depends on you but I decreased the size a little and still DCA, I want to keep the average cost to be somewhat low but I usually delay my DCA and waiting for dips if anything.
I'm 100% optimistic the price will go higher, but at the same time I also want to profit big so I keep mantaining my average costs.

if you're the type to not care about the cost and just want to put your money into an investment, a routine DCA still works even with disregarding the price.

by

It's combination of frugal living and full aped in to bitcoin for me to overcome the devaluing economy.
Can't afford my saving to depreciate every year so I just put all my entire saving to bitcoin and because it's a lot more convenient.

At this point I already considered bitcoin as just like gold, a way to make my investment grow except bitcoin is better.
Usually what you need is just an asset to invest where their growth > inflation. As simple as that. Although I always try to find asymmetrical bet.

Re: Why does war always affect the price of Bitcoin
by
JeffBrad12
on 20/07/2025, 04:02:58 UTC
Is a simple analogy, if there is war, there will definitely be panic in the economy and people will be rushing to sell off the Bitcoin either to buy other things that they need or selling out of fear that the Price will drop because of the war, so for that during whatever war, there is always a market high volatilities because of the fuds that comes along with war.
The thing that makes volatility high in a war is when infrastructures getting destroyed and it causes shortage in commodity or energies.
It's like when the oil refineries were destroyed, oil price spike and people cashing out from bitcoin to rotate hoping to get profit.
Nowadays it's not as impactful though because people also understand that bitcoin is one way to save their wealth.

This kind of data hard to come by, usually paywalled and even I doubt the accuracy of the data.
I usually just consider the fear indicator to determine retailer participation, so far I haven't found any such data except maybe data about address owned by institutional vs retailer.

https://en.macromicro.me/charts/29402/bitcoin-addresses-with-balance-more-than-or-equal-to-0-1

even then I don't even know if it's reliable.
