, excluding marijuana,

What?  I thought potcoin was supposed to be the solution for dispensaries banking problems.

Are you saying potcoin isn't the solution to the banking problem?

Why is the dispensary not accepting potcoin for weed?

Is it because you might be found guilty of money laundering?

Two more entries into the "marijuana banking" biz:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/gold-coast-announces-merchant-bank-services-to-the-marijuana-industry-with-the-launch-of-mj-merchant-2014-05-22?reflink=MW_news_stmp

http://www.knpr.org/son/archive/detail2.cfm?SegmentID=11210

It's the choice of the dispensary whether or not to accept cryptocurrency for legalized marijuana, and since both are very new they have decided to spend more time evaluating the option. We are working closely with the industry to ensure complete compliance with the laws now and in the future. Again, please have patience. We are working within two relatively new industries where laws and regulations are adapting and evolving and a cautious approach is necessary both for PotCoin and the companies we serve.

Regards,

Russell Thomas

What portion of their business is non-marijuana?  I can't imagine it's more than 3% of their total sales.

If you only knew the markup on accessories and paraphernalia. Can't really smoke without those can yah? Wink

GTFO.. OMFG.. WaatTheF !

The parasite, "we control your crypto assests" multi pools have invaded P2P !??

NNNNnnnNNNOOOOOOO !!

Ok.. time to wake up now..  Undecided
dafuq?

Profit-switching aside, If it pays out consistently and automatically and doesn't allow users to use it like a bank what's the harm?

It's simply a single web interface that lets you hop between different coins p2pools. Better than having 12 different pools in my conf if you ask me...

I too would gladly donate 1 LTC once it's working for me Sad

Everything seems to work - config editing, pool management, rebooting the server..

Everything EXCEPT any card info. I cannot start/stop mining, and I see no cards listed for the rig I added.

I know cgminer is set up to answer API requests on the local box just fine since the default miner.php file works just fine.

Does the pool management screen utilize cgminer API calls? If so then I'm at a complete loss.

Anything else you think I should check?

PS - Also, the config wizard screws up the values it stores based on what you enter. I had to go in and edit the conf manually to fix the errors (as well as edit the conf-dist for good measure)
In it's current state I feel it would be better NOT to have the wizard at all.

I have a dumb question:

These come with 6-pin pci-e connectors, not 6+2...correct?
For those of us planning on using it with a GPU with an 8-pin pci-e power connector, what is the recommended way to accomplish this?
