Bitcoin will never be outdated. It gets slower due to high competition. The higher the bitcoins price, the slower it moves in the market. Don't you know how cryptocurrency industry works? You cannot predict the volatility of bitcoin. Sometimes it is so low, one day you'll be shocked it will be higher than ever.  So don't just say bye bye bitcoin.

Bitcoin is like a gold.. It is limited. So when people are trying to buy bitcoin, they are bidding how much they are willing to buy it. That us why the longer the coin is existing, the higher price it is.. In the future, expect that one bitcoin is equivalent to a million dollar.

Our economy in our country which is Philippines is very low this year especially in exchange. Our peso to dollar was dropped by 50php to 52.34php. I guess it is the lowest price compare to previous years. I don't know if this affects to out president but I think this benefits the people who work overseas bacause they will send their money and the price is higher than before. I hope our economic status will be lifted before this year comes to an end.

Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto!

There are benefits of having a real job, however there are also negative things about it. Having a real job means having a boss. Having a boss a boss means you are inferior of him. He controls you. You're lime a slave following his orders. However, having a real job means having a salary. You don't ran out of money cause you have a monthly salary and bonuses.
About me, I have a job but I do bitcoin also. As long as you can manage your time between two, there will be no problem.

Then why are you here? If you are not interested in bitcoin, why would you post this kind of nagging?
This is the generation you are living of, of new technology and cryptocurrencies.. If you don't like this such industry, don't come here and whine. Just shut up and continue your life. Some here are professional and has a job, so don't judge. I'm kind of curious, why would some moderator give you merit with this? Huh

Some people like me is getting bitcoin by just joining campaign and waiting for them to pay me back with tokens. I started by that. My only investment is time, effort and internet connection. For me, I think, those investment is enough to make money. That's why many people are investing and working on bitcoin. Not all bitcoiners are businessmen, some are like students or jobless person.

Re: Beliefs about money and wealth
by

on 30/05/2018, 15:37:09 UTC
For me, being wealthy is not about money.
You can be wealthy in  friends, wealthy in love of your spouse, family, neighbors  and colleagues.
I believe, when you have a lot of money, you will have a lot of problems. A lot of people will envy you. You will think about your security. A lot of people will try to decieve you just to steal money from you.
Just look at a homeless person, he doesn't have money, no one dares to trick or deceive him. That's why he doesn't care about his security. Being rich is also a responsibility on how you manage your wealth. So take care of yourself.

Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC?
by

I guess if you don't have electricity especially when a disaster strikes in your place, you have to find a food and security first, then  electricity. I don't think you need to trade or do bitcoin on that casualties. You have to prioritize your family or loved ones first before thinking about how you will trade with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is an industry that can make our lives better, not to save from calamities. You have to sort your priorities, man.

My opinions are here;
-make bitcoins transaction fee less.
-create more bounty campaign.
-give merit to those who really deserves it. Not for those who only ask in personal message.
-give newbies a chance to explore bitcoin. Downgrade your requirements on to become a member.

Bitcoin has given us the opportunity to change our financial status. Even broke people can make money from bitcoin as long as he has the effort, gadget, and internet connection.
If I will be given by God a chance to be wealthy thru bitcoin, I will help the people who's in need. I will do charities. I will give donations to churches, orphanage, and elderly homes. I believe that's what Gods want, to help who's in need.

Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency
by
Jessica1234
on 29/05/2018, 10:43:03 UTC
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

It depends on you if you want to use bitcoin as an investment or for purchases purpose. No one is dictating you what you wanna do to your coin.
About me, I'm using both. If i want to buy something online, i pay thru bitcoin; but i also invest, for it to profit more.

In the long term, of course bitcoin will increase its price (no doubt), so it is also wise to invest. So I'm suggesting you to invest.Wink

Re: Depending your future in bitcoin...
by
Jessica1234
on 29/05/2018, 00:46:11 UTC
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?

My strategy is to put 75% of my money on alternative coins and wait for the price to increase.
When my altcoins increases to my desired amount, i will cash them out and put it in my bank.
I'm not 100% sure about cryptocurrency, that's why I'm cashing out my investments. I'm worried that someday might be a fall day.

Re: Future predictions about crypto currencies

I'm not an expert but I will give you my opinion about cryptocurrency. At first, when I found out that there is this kind of industry, I doubted it. I was thinking that this was just only a scam that asks money from people to invest. But when I saw that one of my friends is really investing and earning from bitcoin, I got confused. I asked him how does he make money from here without being scammed. He explained it and I asked him to help me join this kind of industry. That's why I'm here now.Smiley trying to make money and invest.

I think, cryptocurrency is a great invention. Once it will be known in the whole world and be utilized by each person, our lives will be better. Smiley

Re: 7 REASONS WHY: which one are you?
by
Jessica1234
on 27/05/2018, 13:33:01 UTC
I just noticed some questions about this topic so I listed some seven reasons why people want to have a cryptocurrency transaction rather than fiat.

1. INCOGNITO. this is the main reason why people use it. You cannot trace crypto transaction and its perfect from hiding.

2. CONVINIENCE. people nowadays are so lazy that they want to have transaction while seated comfortably on their home. With just one click , crypto can be transferred as payment to whatever they want. Well, who doesnt want that anyway.

3. TREND. basically, people want to try something new, something not ordinary , something innovative and if it was used by all their friends, they want to use it also.

4. ILLEGAL. yes, i dont want to include this but i saw many topics about this also. If you want to buy on black market or an illegal item, your transaction should not be traced as i said on our first reason so Crypto will help you hide on cops but not forever.

5. MODE OF PAYMENT. this is where some people buy an item usually using the profit they had on investing bitcoin even just holding. Ex. If you have 1btc and after a month it becomes 1.5 btc and you want to buy an item that cost 0.005btc and crypto is accepted as a mode of payment, you will use it ofcourse rather than fiat.

6. TECHY. it seems that techy people using cryptocurrency as a mode of payment see themselves as going with the flow of technology considering that bitcoin is the new technology of currency for the new generation.

7. SHOW OFF. whether we admit it or not, some people use cryptocurrency just to make their status up. Telling their friends about how wealthy they are and keep boasting for their ego.

This is what i noticed. So which one are you?

For me, Convenience and techy, because it help us to control things without consumming a lot of time. By using cryptocurency as a payment for there expenses and bills. It's very convinient because it make transactions fast.

Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ?
by
Jessica1234
on 27/05/2018, 10:56:06 UTC
What do you think about this possibility ? Would you invest in your government currency ?

That is possible. You know, government can create anything when it comes to money and currency. Anything that is profitable, they will make a way to get something from us. I think I'll not invest when they make a government currency because they can control it. I want my investment to be controlled by only me. Almost all government in this world is corrupted. I'm not saying all, but almost. So, I'll not invest in them.

You can't blame people on this. Because there are so many cases of scam now a days. They're just protecting their assets and privacy. Scammers now are genius, they use to know even your personal information. So be careful on using your account and assets for investing and other transactions.

Yes, it is still important, but less.. Since bitcoin got popular, many investors withdrew their money and started investing in bitcoin, for they know bitcoin has higher profit than a bank in lesser time.

Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

Some government of different countries don't trust bitcoin but not all. Japan and some european contries support bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still young and blooming. Let's just wait for them to understand it.
