I see, and It makes sense. But what if someone simply wants to speculate on the price of sugar? No need for delivery then. I buy a few hundred kilos today, sell them tomorrow for profit. I know that either way your share of sugar is tied to a physical amount, but I think the majority of people interested in Digital Sugar are there to speculate: if they were interested in buying tons of sugar, they would use other channels. If you invest in oil or gold you don't want actuals barrels or ingots, no? Again, I might be wrong, that's just my take on the whole affair

The next confusing factor is the minimum trade on digitalsugar.io is 50T of sugar and the commission is
0.04% of that amount. So, is this 50T minimum order treated as 1 transaction (1cent?) where is the demand and increase of tokens price?

At DigitalSugar.io main page, it is stated that you can trade from 1kg to 1M tonne of sugar.
Where did you get you "50T minimum"?
The project seems like a solid use case, or at least a good starting point for further deals and to increase utn demand
