Re: Bitcoin or altcoins
by

I don’t think the primary market has much to do with the secondary market. When Bitcoin fluctuates, altcoins still rise, and although Bitcoin has been on the rise, the current market value wants to fall under the principal of the investment. It needs to be held for a long time, and the currency value of altcoins is small, so the multiple of growth is relatively large. I think short-term altcoins and long-term bitcoins are very good choices.

Users can run the app on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices with iOS 12.0 or later. It also boots on Macs with an Apple M1 chip using macOS 11.0 or later.

Would you pay with Dogecoin if it was allowed in your country?
But in my opinion I may not use it to pay for anything for a while, I still prefer to invest in Dogecoin.
Started testing this 2 months ago and it looks like it's very convenient and can be used to make payments! Guess if you can pay McDonald's? Ha ha!

I thought it was a good time. Many people were surprised when they saw Bitcoin drop by half, and I thought it was a good time to buy. Bitcoin rose to $4w the next day, and now the war has caused a lot of With so many insecurities in the economy, cryptocurrencies are now a storage method that is less susceptible to government influence.

Re: Binance donates $10 million to support Ukraine

I'm not very focused right now, but I think I didn't find a topic about this. Forgive me if it was already posted. Binance announced on Twitter that they're donating $10 million to express their support with Ukraine. They are now gathering donations for the Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund here. The usage of cryptocurrencies and crypto businesses are starting to become relevant in the ongoing Russian invasion. Fewer and fewer areas are holding their apolitical stance, even if they used to be apolitical before. I wonder who will be next. It's interesting how Buterin will react, given that he's originally from Russia.
According to the reports I read, the $10 million donated by Binance is humanitarian, for the suffering people in Ukraine, and the donated emergency relief fund is not aimed at the military.

if you don't know if bitcoin has value or not then don't buy bitcoin.

If you don’t understand or are not interested in cryptocurrency and think that Bitcoin has no value, then choose what you think is valuable.

People will value interests, and the people will, and the government will also chase fame and wealth, but the impact of this kind of news is not very big. It is caused by the wrong guidance of the media, which is a large part of the reason.

In the currency circle, don't worry, wait patiently for the market. This is a key element of investment. When you invest in Bitcoin, if the price of Bitcoin drops, you can choose to hold Bitcoin for a long time. Don't do things that you regret because of these panics, causing the loss of a lot of assets, don't give up, it will bring you considerable gains in the future.

During the period when I invested a lot of money, I often opened the exchange and observed it repeatedly. This addictive behavior exists and is normal. One thing I even wake up every day is to look at the price, but now I am not like I used to be. My life is not just Bitcoin, I also have to look at other aspects. I can't just think of Bitcoin. In addition to Bitcoin, you will have a lot of things to do.

For me, I cannot use all my net assets to bet on the unknown two years. The risks of crypto investment are well known. Although the profit is very attractive, once I lose my principal, what is the concept for the whole family? I'm not so brave, and I don't have the courage to take my family to gamble. Within the scope of my investment, I will only use my spare money to invest, not all of me.

Re: What is your first choice of a bitcoin wallet?
by

I think that from a security perspective, hardware wallets are superior. It is disconnected from the network. This means that we will not face hackers losing coins, and truly realize that personal assets will not be infringed. The disadvantage is that the fees are more expensive and only support some Mainstream currency. But I think its advantages can make me turn a blind eye to his shortcomings.

Every country has a different view of cryptocurrency, and the scope of countries in the world is too large. Many countries have no choice but to adopt Bitcoin. Bitcoin is only used as a payment method. The right to choose is still in the hands of consumers. I think some countries may keep up with El Salvador, but as far as China is concerned, it will not choose to accept cryptocurrencies.

Re: Why Bitcoin mining isn’t a waste of energy?
by
JillianTaft
on 16/08/2021, 03:31:00 UTC
From the perspective of Bitcoin, mining has an impact on Bitcoin itself. It costs money to mine. The more cost miners pay, the more valuable Bitcoin is.
This problem can easily be polarized. Those who support Bitcoin believe that Bitcoin has real value, not a waste of resources. Those who oppose Bitcoin believe that Bitcoin has no real value and therefore is a waste of resources. From a subjective level, mining itself is the definition of the cost of digital currency.

Re: Food prices doubled this year

During the epidemic, the decline in production naturally led to a general increase in prices. Labor costs will also rise, so if the cost is high, the price will also rise.
When the epidemic was at its worst, I would go out to buy things every two or three days, and every time I would buy things that I needed for many days. This has brought uncertainty to my future, leading me to buy a lot of daily necessities and food, especially masks, at higher prices than before. More than ten times higher.

I think this epidemic has let me know that children can still learn online and work can be done at home. What was the purpose of going to the company to check in before then? Working directly at home is the same as working at a company. It also made me reach the peak of my weight, and the epidemic made me fat.

Remember Iron Man? I am very interested in Iron Man. It gives me a sense of technology. A machine that can fly by stepping on it. If we can do this on land, it would be a cool thing. It will be more convenient and simpler than flying cars.

Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this.
by
JillianTaft
on 11/08/2021, 07:57:31 UTC
Usability is recognized as one of the most important factors when investing, and gold and cryptocurrencies are considered choices in this category.
When I first came into contact with cryptocurrencies, I felt that the difficulty was more complicated than other investments, but compared with gold, cryptocurrencies are easier to obtain, with low thresholds and convenient transactions.
If you want to choose long-term investment, you have to worry about inflation. Both cryptocurrency and gold are tools against this risk. As a form of investment, cryptocurrency is not affected by inflation. On the other hand, it is not regulated by the government, and your investment will not be interfered by the government.
In terms of stability, the price of gold has been good for many years, usually after the price adjustment, the final price will be stable for a long time. Cryptocurrency is different from other investments. The market will be affected by some factors or news. The volatility of cryptocurrency is much higher than that of gold.
This means that if you want to invest in products with potential in the future, cryptocurrency may be the best choice. If you are just looking for an investment with stable price over time and low risk, then gold can be your choice.
However, cryptocurrencies are still very young now, and the future is unknown. Gold has existed for thousands of years and has some potential advantages.Whether to invest in gold or cryptocurrency is up to you.

Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money?
by
JillianTaft
on 11/08/2021, 05:59:38 UTC
The security of cryptocurrency is very high. The current legal currency consumes a lot of costs in anti-counterfeiting and other links, and it is difficult for cryptocurrencies to counterfeit. Digital currency does not have a physical organization, just keeps accounts on the blockchain, and the cost is relatively low.
Encrypted currency ledger is open and transparent, and transactions are convenient. Because it is decentralized, no one can control it.
