If we look at stuff like Amazon - they have a very "legal" strategy of getting their competitors out: they can afford to have losses in a specific niche, since they are extremely diverse. Imagine a giant like Amazon demping prices if your niche for 3-6-12 months in a row on top of offering better delivery and everything. You will either go to Amazon and join 'em or go out of business. Small loss for Amazon a long-term domination on every niche they decide to strategically target

It seems like OP are expressing concern about the perceived excess of goods in the world. However, that's precisely why we have the law of supply and demand – to balance things out. It's as if you're thinking that our world is getting filled with trash due to the excessive production of things by people. But in my opinion, everything will eventually decompose and turn to dust over time. Some are recycled, and others are incinerated. Don't worry, OP, because I believe it's still balanced.
While it is difficult to understand what the OP is trying to say I think they have a point when they talk about our abilities of production exceeding our capabilities of consuming all of those products that are being created.

However partially this can be blamed to those producers of goods creating low quality items that have to be replaced all the time in order to increase their profits, as it could be entirely possible to create much better goods for a higher price but that you may never have to replace over your life, decreasing our usage of resources and the overall wealth spent on those products, but since this will play against those producers they refuse to do this.

Yeah, you can't really bank on most goods being "lifetime" quality in current economy. It's not only about resource usage - it's also about workforce employment and distribution channels already created. Would basically lead to a huge flop regarding workforce and a lot of unemployed.

Basic idea is: imagine right now you gotta remake the same 30 items every month(demand and supply). It takes 1 worker to make 1 item 1 day. So if you suddenly switch to only needing to remake the item 10 times due to it having higher quality and lasting longer. Well, now to keep same 1 worker occupied he needs to spend at least 3x more time creating said item, otherwise his position is most likely going to get shut down. And you can transfer all of those issues to transportation(delivering of said item), marketing it to people, etc.
One of the folks I know had a theory that overall lifetime of tech had to go down for the economy to be able to support production of said tech, since if you'd be able to buy a PC and have it work for 20 years, then you simply wouldn't have cash flow to improve parts as fast as we did. That's why in 90s buying PC would last you a good 5-7 years, and those days PCs are obsolete after like 2-3. Progress in improving is just too fast, since competition is high and cash flow is insane.

This is not rocket science folks, all you gotta do is:
1) Eat well(just eat good foods and not junk filled with sugar)
2) Sleep well(7-8h is baseline for adults, but everyone is different in this regard)
3) Exercise(doesn't need to be hardcore, just walk a few miles/do some yoga or anything that you like honestly)

That's it. It's THIS easy

Wow that is a really extensive list, I can see you put a lot of work into that list. There looks like a lifetime of activities to try there Smiley

I may be being really dumb but I can?t see running/jogging in the list. I think lots of people do it to try & keep a decent level of fitness. Maybe you should include it but you have included pretty much everything else. I can?t think of anything else.

Oh wow  Grin i guess it was too obvious. Thanks for noticing!

No problem, brother. If you really have tried all those activities since quarantine hit with COVID then I have full respect for you. I used to hate walking/hiking but when COVID happened all the shops were closed, all we were allowed to do was exercise, walk outside etc so I took up walking. I still do it now, so lockdown was good for something Cheesy

I'm back to hiking, but gotta thank COVID for my home gym Cheesy Had to drop a pretty penny for all the gear, but now I can work out in peace in my garage at least!
