Re: [ROUND #3] BitCat.ch - automated bitcoin game

As soon as I get paid out again, I'm going back in, there still a lot of time left to cycle.

I'm going to do the same. There is quite a bit of time left. I think once we get back to the week, it will swing back up again.

I think this would be a good thing. Quite a few boards have a "Thank user for this post" feature.

Most forums that allow images in signatures have a clearly defined size limit.

I think that this would greatly help to clean up the forum and to make it more readable.

I agree with the smaller amounts. It allows the game to keep moving. Large bets stop people from playing as they worry about the cutoff time.

A good place to start understanding mining would be this thread:

Make sure you understand the concepts of bitcoin before you try to understand mining.

Good Luck!

Re: They should rename Bitcoins to Hoardcoins because no one is spending.

i have talked to some businesses accepting bitcoins and none of them has had a customer using BTC.

everyone is hoarding for speculation and no one is using it as real money.

I think the issue is theres a lot of people sitting back at the moment waiting to see where the dust settles with regards to the current 'real' value of BTC.

Add to that the fact a lot of people cant even access their coins atm, and you have very few people left who are actually spending coins.

^ I agree with waiting for the dust to settle. It has been a fun week and many are making outrageous predictions on what will hapen with the future of bitcoins and the market.

This thread had some very good advice on backing up your wallet:

As others have stated, DropBox has been all over the news for their security issues. There is no way that I would consider it without first encrypting it.
