I don't understand throughly about blockchain technology, but basically, blockchain works also based on the internet to access data, not specifically, but I think blockchain is hard to operate independently without internet, although it brings a very transparent data.

Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better?
by
JimmieA
on 05/07/2019, 04:32:35 UTC
It is so vague to determine that btc or usd is better. So what is your purpose? If it's all about exchanging deals, then everyone will choose USD, on the contrary, people choose btc as a highly profitable speculation product. But saying that does not mean that the dollar cannot invest, the foreign exchange market is also one of the global investment whirlwinds now, but it needs a large amount of capital because the fluctuation is not so much as crypto market.

Not only PayPal, in the world has many internet payment development companies and like any big company or corporation what they are most interested in is still the profit, like paypal. however, their activities in the field of online payment or any other,  they  are still managed by the government. So do you think they can do the opposite with the government? In addition, there is currently no information about any crypto trading platform that cooperates with paypal.

Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto

It would be great if this documentary film has a really good goal to help people better understand the crypto instead of pr for some exchanges and investment apps like the videos I've ever seen. I do not expect that this will increase the price of btc or eth, just stabilize everything with slight fluctuations. that would be better than a boom like 2017.

Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ?

crypto can be seen as an opportunity for earning the money, so why must ignore it. That's probably why most of us buy crypto. Also some persons to use it in the transaction, but very few. If you have a good skill, investing in crypto is a good way to make the profit, maybe a lot of money. It's like investing in stocks, buying and waiting; However,  changing of the price will be faster.

Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply
by
JimmieA
on 10/11/2018, 08:20:27 UTC
The argument is again and again that the value of Bitcoin will increase because supply is limited to 21 million. But this is quite simply wrong. Every time Bitcoin is forked that is in real terms an expansion of the Bitcoin currency beyond 21 million. To some degree the same is true of alternative crypto currencies which will flood the market. There is already more than 1000 cryptocurrencues ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies )
Why is the foking affecting the btc supply? The number of btc issued in the market has been fixed from the beginning, and initially it was distributed free of charge, so in the exchange market, it was trading at a loss of 21 million btc. so btc exceeds 21M seems impossible, even if there are 100 or 1000 altcoins. btc is only held in different places but can not be lost or increased.

Re: Is worth buying coins under $1?
by
JimmieA
on 25/09/2018, 19:12:50 UTC
What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?
There are a lot of coin not top but still have a very stable investment and of course income from that too. Most of the coins that have just been released, the ICO price is pretty low or can say the price below $ 1 is normal. I've witnessed a coin rise in price from below 1$ to $ 16 in just a short time, and after the past crisis, it still keep the price at $ 4. Talk about the rising in the price of coins,  it also depends on the potential of ICO, an ICO with virtual projects or poor quality can not attract a good amount of investment and of course the ability to increase prices after Release will also be low.

Re: More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM.

More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM.
In the years 2016-1917 the era of the ICO began, and the launch of projects was very different from what we see now. Much attention was paid to the promotion of the project in social networks and in all forums. To date, everything has changed. Advertising ICO in social networks is prohibited, and good projects are trying to find good investors themselves. Therefore, many projects refuse to conduct Bounty and Eidrody. Projects begin to carry out closed ICO (for example, ICO Telegram).
But many projects continue to use Bounty to attract investors. And on my vzdlyade 50-70% of these projects SCAM. The project plans to raise money and disappear with them. Therefore, they do not mind paying a small percentage of Bounty and Airdrop.
The conclusion from this is that the choice of Bounty for work should be very careful. Do not waste 20 weeks on an empty one.
Sorry for my English.
There are a growing number of poor quality bounties and it is worth mentioning that they all exaggerate the amount of money supply for bounty, in addition to bounty management is not good. Sometimes questions of participants are not answered. Poor quality bounties are often difficult to be listed on reputable exchanges, with a high investment, but the develope team of ICO does not have any notice about that.
I still have not mentioned the ico of the virtual project. In general, the current market of ico is very difficult for us to choose a good ico to join and get income from it.

Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action
by
JimmieA
on 25/09/2018, 18:43:45 UTC
It is easy to get stucked in this trap when you read a particular economic news and tell yourself that it seems likely to make the market go in a certain direction. Once you convinced yourself that what you expect to happen is basically you digging for your account. In the early years of trading, many traders were stuck in the trap of trading in news and focused too much on fundamental analysis.
Trying to find out what the market is going to act next after the major economic reports are published appears to be obvious and useful to a trader at the time. However, you may be surprised to learn that the trader focuses too much on news that is losing money as prices tend to move in the opposite direction from what the news reflects.

It will be much more serious if you read an inaccurate or fraudulent news. Sometimes, it will lead you to the wrong decision. For example, information about some countries that will ban crypto, it makes many people massively sell their crypto. Of course, there are many reasons that affect your trading. Selecting a scam exchange also causes a lot of people lose some money is not worth.

Re: Invest in ICO this time, yes or no?
by
JimmieA
on 13/09/2018, 18:16:56 UTC
Investment in ICO is also a good way to make a profit, in the pasttime, investing in ICO has brought a great profit for the trader. However, now there are too many scam ICO as well as poor  ICO, so investing in ICO is no longer a good choice to get the profit. But that does not mean that there are no high quality ICO to invest, even though the risk is quite high.

Re: Good timing for short term
by

I appreciate all traders. But specifically it is the best time for short time traders. Because market price will increase soon then you will be definitely profitable.

What do you think?

I have the same opinion with you. The current time is not good for long-term investment that is suitable for short-term. The
fluctuations of the current price are not too large and in any direction. I think it will be suitable for daily trading, when you choose the right time to make transactions, the profit is quite good.

Will be an advice to hodl ether and other alts you possess. The market is not encouraging to see now and it has been Worry to all.
Eth is trending downward, with daily price fluctuations around less $ 20 , making it more difficult to choose which way to invest. short-term investment, the incom from transactions is not negligible; holding also take the confusion whereas we don't know  when the price will grow again.

Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year
by
JimmieA
on 09/09/2018, 19:03:55 UTC
25-30k will be very good . maybe 50k for this year is not possible
I also agree with you that btc will not be able to reach  $ 50k  at the end of this year. With the current situation I do not even believe it will reach $ 20k at the end of this year. I think that increasing of the price in 2017 is due to the impact of the "sharks" in the market.

Re: "The collapse of ETH is inevitable" - Article

"The collapse of ETH is inevitable"

https://techcrunch.com/2018/09/02/the-collapse-of-eth-is-inevitable/

"Here’s a prediction. ETH — the asset, not the Ethereum Network itself — will go to zero.

Those who already think that ETH will not see real adoption — thanks to a failure to scale, to adopt more secure contract authoring practices,
or to out-compete its competitors — don’t need to be convinced that a price collapse would follow as a consequence. "

I'm sure many of you will disagree with this article...

I do not think that eth will crash, as we see eth as a platform for performing btc transactions. So, for whatever reason people can get rid of eth.I know that a lot of people are still storing eth in their wallet and  expecting a surge of the price. Although eth is relatively cheap at present and not as we expected, I am convinced that it is still a good investment option.

Re: HODL is not advisable!
by

on 09/09/2018, 17:06:57 UTC
everyone has their own beliefs and choices, so we can't sense situations and choices because whatever, if they play to sell at a low price then that is their decision, and I see many people who can't hold patiently and that is wrong decision
If it's like you say that each person has their own beliefs  and choices  , then creating this forum is not  helpful and the topic is getting  redundant. The advice given to the newbie is very necessary and I think we should encourage it.

Re: Buy in or opt out?
by
JimmieA
on 09/09/2018, 15:49:40 UTC
With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
In the past week, btc has reached over $ 7k but has now dropped to around $ 6k4. No one can know when btc can rise again, if you want to make a profit then you must take risks. The greater the risk, the greater the profit. However, you can also choose safeguard rather than wait until the btc price is stable. I think it's pretty long.
