Bitcoin Forks are harmful for bitcoin, in my opinion. If we want average people to use Bitcoin, this is certainly not helping. It's already hard to use Bitcoin for day to day payments and on top of that we have to explain what forks are and how they happen every goddamn year. No bitcoin fork will overtake bitcoin, ever, another crypto will, most likely with better technology and use.
Its hard to use Bitcoin because the blocks are choked down to 1 MB.
We wouldn't have so many forks if Core had not f'd up the network.
Bitcoin FS solves these problems.

This is the real Satoshi. Craig Wright was his partner.
I doubt if it's a good investment. See the likes of BCD, BTG with fake promises which never get fulfilled. All these bitcoin hardfork coins to me ain't necessary, people just use that means to push their coins to a wide array of crypto enthusiasts, then make money.
Fake promises? This is already running on Testnet and Bushstar is the lead developer?
most of them aren't really at fault. they are just poor newcomers who entered a big market and were suddenly bombarded by a huge wave of advertisement which were promising them riches beyond their wildest dreams so they ended up buying a ton of useless tokens which have been continuously losing value
While a lot of altcoins have been bad investments. Some have provided ROIs higher than Bitcoin!!
Let`s us say that a exchange got hacked, Would there be anyway to ban those bitcoins? like blacklist the stolen coins so they cannot be used on the network? I know about going back in time with consensus of the network to a earlier block or forking and using that new chain, but could you just not ban the stolen coins? I mean make a way to do that?
If the new address was known, exchanges could blacklist the address. But eventually, the culprit could find a way to offload the coins.

Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action
uhh...wtf? No he can burn in hell thank you very much. On the searching side, yes I'm quite sure no one bothered to go to China to look for him. It's a shame but unsurprising as even if he were found it would likely do nothing towards getting any funds back.
The Goldcoin developers returned back to the community what has turned out to be millions in funds. Never reported, hardly even known.
I am sick and tired of the amount of stupid questions regarding Satoshi Nakamoto that gets posted on the forum everyday. This nonsense just keeps going on and on: "What would Satoshi think about this?,What would Satoshi think about that?"Is Satoshi a gay?"Is Satoshi a woman?""Is Satoshi the NSA?"... STFU people! We can't answer these questions because we are NOT the one and only Satoshi Nakamoto and we can't look inside his mind.
Can you add your mindless question to the list?
Is Satoshi a gay?

Re: Is this even possible Craig Wright? WTF!?! REVERSE BITCOIN HARD FORK (RBH)
I think craig wright got the idea when cz mentioned a couple of weeks ago he wanted to reverse the blockchain so to get back those 7,000 btc stolen from his exchange. It was something nobody wanted to happen or could even be achieved in some discussions. Csw at it again with the absurd and unknown to garner even more attention away from bitcoin and its blockchain.
You think this is related to the Binance 7000 BTC hack?

Re: Is this even possible Craig Wright? WTF!?! REVERSE BITCOIN HARD FORK (RBH)
you need to be a lot clearer about that! what you said here doesn't make any sense and the only information that i could find about "Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork" is a GoldCoin related thing (link: https://www.goldcoin.org/fork_faq.html) where since it is a copy of bitcoin they are basically pulling changes from bitcoin to their own fork and adding them there which has nothing to do with bitcoin.
That's what I'm talking about. The medium article on that page says that the new chain will be the official chain?!?

I'm getting SICK and tired of people trying to fix Blockstream's code. It doesn't matter what Satoshi Nakamoto thinks at this point does it?
And we don't need another hard fork. And I don't even think this is possible. Thoughts?

Re: [ANN] GameCoin (GME) - Current version = v0.8.4.2
The coin is just now being revived. Let's get the network strong first, get a block explorer and an exchange, then we can begin contacting game developers and online gaming webshops.
Is there anyone here that can setup a Telegram group?
