Re: How to Use McAfee to Make Crypto Money

Yes you can make a lot of money if you time it right. Need to be careful doing so, you don’t want to be the one left with the bag when it starts bombing. He has changed it now to coin of the week not coin of the day. If you want to try and cash in on this I suggest being logged into your trading accounts prior to his tweet because the amount of traffic trying to get in on his teeet is very high and Boggs the system down and the extra time trying to log on you end up missing out so at that point it isn’t worth t because you will be left with a falling coin.

I myself and staying away. Mcafee is making millions off from it. You know darn well he buys the coin before he tweets and sells it off when it is on top, I bet he even tells his close friends to buy as well. Nothing more than market manipulation if You ask me.

Yeah the past few days have been crazy. Lots of money to be had (or lost) just need to keep calm in those times and make good decisions don’t be emotional or you will lose big time. I’m sure we will see more times like this as we have in the past. Weather the storm and keep cool and you can cash in big time on alts. I have a few prospects out there I hope pan out well.

After the new year I think things will pick up. There will be new anoincments coming in to start Q1 of 2018. With all the new investors getting settled from the holidays and people get back in there normal routines things should pick up. Still some great opportunities out there currently. Invest wisely and you can boost your portfolio. Hopefully we all can make some nice profits to start the new year.

Re: how can you be sure that exchange platform is trustable?

I try and stay in US exchanges. I only keep a portion of my bitcoin on the exchange for trading the majority of it is in my hardware wallet where I know it is safe. That and i am in Bitcoin for the long haul I don't day trade bitcoin so I have no reason to keep it on the exchange, I keep a small portion on the exchange to be able to buy Altcoins when I want to. But for the most part my funds stay in my hardware wallet that way I will only have t pay the Long Term capital gains tax not a short term.

Re: Why litecoin is going up so high?
by

on 12/12/2017, 21:29:49 UTC
I think there are a few factors, one being that the transaction fees are smaller and transfer times are shorter. I think we will see a price correction but then it will go up again in my opinion. Another coin I wish i had invested in a few months ago, I didnt have the money to invest at the time and am paying the price now but don't invest what you cant afford and I had other bills and things to take care of before investing. Hopefully it corrects some so I can get  in a little lower than it is now.

Re: Litecoin's future

I wish I had gotten into Litecoin a few months back, I was going to but went for bitcoin instead, don't regret my decision but wish I had some more money to invest, I can see Litecoin rising even further because of the low fees and fast transaction rates. I was actually thinking of trading some of my bitcoin over to litecoin but I know if I do so Bitcoin will skyrocket and I would have made more money holding the bitcoin than switching t Litecoin. But i think Litecoin will do really well int he coming years if they can't do something about Bitcoins high fees. Time will tell I suppose but I really think it is going to do really well. Hmmm...... maybe I should swap some Bitcoin for Litecoin. What doy uo guys think?

Re: which exchange is best for trading

I mostly use Bittrex for my trading. Although I ave opened accounts on Polinex, and Binnance as well. Some Altcoins are only offered on certain trading sites so it is good to open multiple accounts in my opinion so that you have access to the different altcoins that are out there. Bittrex works well on mobile as well. I have not been able to find the binnance app yet it isn't available to US customers that I can find, I tried downloading it the other day from there website and it said that it wasn't available in the US app store but it is available on the chineese app store but when I go to the chineese store it also says it isnt available. Hoping it comes tot he US app store soon so I give trading a shot on it. missed out on the surge the last few weeks on a coupel altcoins that arent available on bittrex.

You could sell for 16.2k Anne make some money OR you can wait for it to continue to rise up to 20k or beyond. No oneness including OP knows what bitcoin is going to do. CME will Ben launching in a few days which should help the price go up. They do need to do something about the high transaction fees though. Those high transaction Fresno make litecoin look better everyday as we have been seeing with price skyrocketing. No one knows the future and to tell people to sell without any basis for your assumption doesn’t not hold much weight to me.

I think there are a lo of reasons why bitcoin is currently going crazy, with the CME group trading futures in the coming days along with FOMO happening to those who have been monitoring the market thinking of getting there feat wet are seeing how quick BTC is gaining and want a piece of the action. I personally feel it will continue to rise and with small corrections and ultimatley will keep going up as new investors come in. Hoping it doesnt bottom out but I suppose anything can happen in the crazy world of crypto.

Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only
by

I have heard from several people that they will only travel with bitcoin now. They travel to the middle east and and Europe frequently and said using bitcoin is much easier than trying to figure out which country uses which fiat, They said it makes traveling abroad much more fun not having to worry about carrying money on them and exchanging fiat everywhere they go. I myself do not travel much but if I ever decide to I'll be sure to bring my ledger with me, or get one of those BTC credit cards.

Re: Bitcoin surpasses $19,000 on Coinbase!
by

I was watching as it was happening. Times like that I wish I held my coins on the exchange so I could sell them high and buy when they are low. I don't have a ton of bitcoin but I have enough where I could have earned a nice little chunk of change and re-invest to get a little more bitcoin. I know it isnt good to keep your bitcoin on the exchange but darn it this time it would have been nice to have them there. By the time it would have taken me to transfer from my Ledger to GDAX and have it confirmed it would have already dumped back down.

Actually thinking of throwing them onto the exchange now in case it happens again. (I doubt it will though and if it did spike back up to 19k knowing my luck I would sell it to make some profit and it wouldnt go back down it would keep going up) I'll most likely keep it in my ledger.

It was definitely was crazy to watch though. One second I checked it was at 7800 I checked again 2 minutes later it was at 8400 checked again a minute later it was up to 9200. bitcoin amazes me still.

Re: Pump or dump after the Bitcoin futures contracts
by

on 06/12/2017, 18:40:58 UTC
I think with the addition of bitcoin futures the price will go up. There will always be the pump and dump going on but the price should steadily rise I think. It will make it a little more mainstream even though the futures won’t nescesarily make it as mainstream as it would be I’d say amazon start d to accept bitcoin as payment. I believe it will help the price rise in the future. I’m all for it the more people start using bitcoin the better it will be in the long run.

If you want to use a visa I recommend using coinbase. It is easy to set up an account and you don’t need to verify via ID to use your visa, you are limited in how much You can buy without verifying your account. They do charge a fee though. That’s the only place I know of that you can use a credit card but I’m sure there are other exchanges out there I just don’t know of any.

Re: Are Hardware Wallets to be trusted?

I’m probably not one who can answer the question about how safe the hardware wallets are, I don’t know programming or code etc. but the larger companies, Microsoft Apple Samsung, all had to start out as small companies no one knew about but have built trust in the products through time. Although I do agree vigilance is needed that’s why It’s good to have forums like this to bring possible issues to light.

I personally don’t like to say trade bitcoin. Though you can be successful at it o find it is hard to do so, or st least it is for me. I also don’t have a ton of money into bitcoin (the majority of my investment is in bitcoin) but it isn’t a ton so if I were to say trade bitcoin I wouldn’t make huge profits blessings t dumped thousands of dollars and then swings back up. I like to juts Goldman my bitcoin and attempt to daybtrade altcoins. But to each there own and I know day trading bitcoin can be done into just indoor for me currently.

Never give out your private keys and make sure you are on the actual website before entering your keys. There are so many phishing sites out there that look exactly like the real thing but are designed to steal your money from you. I can not stress enough not to share your public keys and to be sure you are on the correct site. Never click links to myetherwallet or any other wallet site (especially if the link was posted in slack) be sure the certificate is correct before entering private keys. This is a main reason I decided to get a ledger Nano s.

Re: Amazing profits from ICO’s? ✅
by
Jmesser80
on 04/12/2017, 14:45:03 UTC
I agree there is lots of money to be made in ICO's although in order to turn a profit like anything you need to research the company and there product to make sure they are offering something useful and something that isn't already in the market. You can't expect to make big money investing in something that has already been done. If you find a solid project and they have a good product and a strong dev team then the moon is where you will go. Research is key for ICO's to be sure you find a gem. Even inferior ICO's are able to make a profit if you find the right time to sell.

Re: Do Bitcoin will reach $15,000 before 2017 ends?
by
Jmesser80
on 04/12/2017, 14:38:09 UTC
I think with the CME group coming on board and other financial institutions also going to be trading bitcoin futures i think the price will go up by the end of the year, not sure it will hit 15k by December 31st though. I think with Xmas looming close trading will die down a bit but it will then pick back up after the 1st of the year. Only time will tell though and anything is possible. I would love to see bitcoin reach 15k by the end of the year but i don't think it will, shortly after the year I think it will hit 15k even higher. I'm hoping for 1million by the end of 2020 with any luck. To the moon!
