J Langley here - you may have seen me sitting behind my screen on Telegram or Discord as some say; but that is because this community is rapidly growing...more and more people are reaching out with questions wanting to know what is going on. Yes a new development team is in the process of taking over to ensure Dimecoin has a successful revival.
I am currently negotiating with the current team that runs the Dimecoin Twitter and all other social media to take over full ownership. They have already handed the Discord to me. As they have expressed that they do not have time for the project and also do no have any estimated time on when they will return. This leaves me and many other investors wondering what is going on? What is the future of Dimecoin?
Well I will tell you a lot is in the works right now. You will see the Discord linked on CoinMarketCap and from the current website dimecoin.com.co (you will see my name on the invitation to the Discord link on the website) Just so you know that I am the legitimate individual working on taking over so that the Dimecoin community does not feel let down. Those of you wondering if the donation idea is indeed real? Yes, and we fully do not intend on using this to abuse and Pump.dump as some may imply. This is truly what the Dimecoin team envisions with their coin. We feel the coin can make a great comeback.

I would like to first off say there is likely a lot of work to go into this project and due to the holidays and likely other life factors, Peme has been working behind the scenes but does not want to come forward without a finished project. Has already done a ton for the project. Lets wait for things to unfold.

The only thing I think may be a problem with this coin, if the site, roadmap and such comes into existence, is the market cap. If we were to reach 0.01 the market cap would be (if my maths are correct!!) somewhere in the region of 8,000,000,000 and that could make the coin the 10th biggest coin on the market now. Which, whilst not impossible, seems fairly unlikely.
I don't think reaching 0.001 is impossible and seems like a more achievable target.

In the top 10 or even 20 will have increased dramatically.
And .01 would give this only a market cap of 6 billion and thats overshooting it.

Waiting to Hear back from the developers that took over. If I do not; I already have a team willing to help with the revival. It will happen folks just give it some time. It is also the holidays so I would venture to Guess people have been busy.
If verge can make it to top 20 so quickly, why can't dime? Dime just have 32 times more supply than verge.

Verge is a privacy based coin. In the rise of tax evasion from governments XVG can do transactions anonymously. DIME is not privacy-centric coin.
We certainly need a detailed and extensive roadmap to move forward. Without the roadmap the coin is directionless and moving nowhere. If I were a developer, I would certainly give a hand into the project along with peme. We need to break the hurdle of Litoshi and move to Satoshi.

YoBit works using BTC thats one of the most common ways Dimecoin is purchased. Not a bad platform just your personal preference at that point.
Personally, I hate Yobit. Their wallets seem to myseteriously go down, and then potentially never go back online so you can't withdraw your coins! I used Cryptopia to buy my dime coins. I like them a lot better.
Same here - a lot of people have given me crap for using Cryptopia so its nice to see someone suggesting them! I really like Cryptopia. Lots of options as well.

The website needs to be more professional, more smooth, without much subject, a better website, highlighting the main features of the currency can pass a greater credibility. Anonymity, Speed, Stability, Scalability, wallet 100% no need to code to by, and better, fast synchronization.
The website is Still being updated as far as I know. Wait til after the new year. Either way well make that happen. A group we are getting together is going to help push this coin. Just waiting to hear back from the developers.
I do agree a better wallet could really put it on the map as well.
Look the price charts of Dimecoin in CMC. Something is happening to Dimecoin... It never has been like this high before!! Marketcap is around 30-40 million dollar and if you look the volume on CMC... It was nothing but now it starts to raise up really much! This coin has potential, seriously! I can see dimecoin go to 20sat next year.

The Wallet is taking a long time to sync, and I've already put the peers.dat file
Make sure your antivirus is not blocking connection. Many other users have expressed the same concern and resolved it by managing their antivirus.
Would not it be better to decrease Dimers amount from 528 Billion to 200Million? It's just a suggestion.

Truth. 2018 will be the start to great things. The chart, albeit sporadic is actually trending better with higher lows and highs.

We havent heard from him in a while. it would just be nice if he could post something to reassure to us what type of progress is being done. Happy holidays dime family. Let make dime great again!
Agreed. I know he stated he had health issues. Hope that all went away. Due to this being a community coin we should have multiple individuals/developers helping to revive this coin. Does Peme have any help?
