Re: [ANN][HARDFORK][BOUNTY]⚡️ Electronero Pulse ⚡️ ASIC Resistant ETNX / ETN HF

Ok, some information finally...

However, I suspect many like me will have old desktop wallet that won't connect anymore.

I will go the exchange route for fork to start and the mobile route a little later.

Please tell us how we can transfer or coins with the old wallet not connecting - did I see something about a cli method - I'm not very familiar?

A small tutorial would be great, the more people who have these coins, the more people will want these coins.

Mobile app is maintenance will be back online this week. Need to scale the platform for exponential user growth.

But...

What's the story with the fork mate ? Is it too late to send ETNX to an exchange and get ETNXP ?

Cheers

HELP...

I had tried to get the mobile Android app setup but it wouldn't initiate account setup.

Having recently started up the old desktop app - that is not connecting, guessing it's probably dead with talk of only mobile app and exchanges only for fork.

Anyway, is it too late to send ETNX coins to TradeOgre to try and participate in this?

What do you mean 101 proofs of God?

Only 1 definitive proof of the existence of God would be necessary and this will never happen.

You can not prove non existence of something that doesn't exist.

Read some Richard Dawkins books and try prove to me that there isn't a spaghetti monster somewhere far out in deep space which of course is my God.

Re: what do you think about electric cars?

Electric only cars I don't like. Until super quick charging is a reality

Who wants to be 50 miles from home at 2am and your electric only car has 15 miles range left in the battery.

I realise something needs to be done to address carbon pollution and so hybrid electric & petrol / diesel I would buy.

Or hydrogen.

But electric only I think is not yet well developed enough to be reliable and dependable range wise.

Plus investment in infrastructure is nowhere near enough currently.

This has probably been asked and answered so forgive me for not reading 900+ pages of this thread...

But why can't the Wallet update on top of the current wallet, with an update installer within the current wallet?

Re: [ANN] [ICO] [EXCHANGE] Blockchain.io, Your Gateway to the Internet of Value
by

Formed with an experienced Crypto, Blockchain and Bitcoin Exchange team - the Blockchain.io project seems to be very well assembled and organised and appear to have a good understanding of their goals which are transparent and highly appealing.

The Blockchain.io project aims to be a European crypto currency exchange of trust for individual and institutional traders and investors.

Already registered with the SEC, the Blockchain.io platform aims to "combine a centralised custodial exchange with a decentralised 'trustless' cross chain 'fair exchange' settlement. The centralised exchange will be low latency and full featured, with custody services, centralised order booking and efficient order matching".

The decentralised cross-chain settlement will be based on cross chain atomic swaps, that is: cryptographic protocols that allow users to settle transactions across heterogeneous (diverse, mixed, different) blockchain networks without a third-party and without counterparty risk.

Already in place, Blockchain.io has an extensive team of developers, a growing list of partners and an abundance of advisors.

If you would like to find out more about the Blockchain.io project or would like to sign up for the whitelist, you can do so by following this link https://blockchain.io/. Make sure to enter a valid email address.

Blockchain.io definitely has great scope for a successful future with a great looking team and project.

As with every project, it is always important to be fully aware that you should do your own research and make your own informed decision when considering any investment.

This short review serves only as an introductory look at the Blockchain.io project.

Regular people in crypto since the decline at the end of 2017 are definitely waiting for considerable lows before they risk being burned again, or burned like they saw others were.

However, I imagine there is likely a considerable amount of regular cash sitting patiently and waiting to pounce on an opportunity.

Further lows seem imminent - but a quick up surge may follow.

I guess I'd insult too many people if I were to correct you all.

I do not believe there are aliens.

You don't believe that in the vastness of space, the known and unknown universe, thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of suitable and habitable planets... likely even hundreds of thousands of planets - that nowhere else is there life other than our not overly special planet earth.

Alien does not mean X-Files...

I also want to improve my grammar in English, for this I read books (which I have already read in another language), watch movies and cartoons, really like Rick and Morty cartoon, simple phrases for memorizing

Have you intentionally chosen the American English approach ?

Re: Should a person with terminal illness be able to end their own life ?
by
JoBoo
on 19/06/2018, 13:33:19 UTC
Of course. If you have a dying animal, you'd be arrested for animal cruelty if you don't put it out of its misery. Yet for some reason some people insist that humans in that position should be forced to continue suffering. I won't even pretend to understand what goes on in the twisted mind of someone who would wish further suffering on the sick and dying.

This is my opinion too.

I think the people who protest against right to die humanely would argue that if one person with a particular liveable condition were to be allowed to die - that it sets a precedence that others with that same condition are being a burden for not choosing to die humanely also.

I don't think I would want to live as a quadriplegic (paralysis of all four limbs) - I would want to die. I would unquestionanly be a burden.

However, those against right to die fear that other quadriplegics would feel compelled to make the decision to die also - which is nonsense.

Let the individual decide their own faith.

Another suggestion would be to download audio books and listen to them under your pillow at night.

Most software on your phone will have a player stop timer, so you don't wake up with the book still playing.

You will go to sleep learning and have time to process the information over night.
