Re: Nexus [Niro] - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come

Hello!
I used cestballot pool for a while and everything went ok.
Since it went down I changed pool to nexusminingpool.com
For 3-4 days I had no payouts, but if I monitor mining software(using my address) pool says payouts are made(payout & balance fields arechanging frequently less or greater)

My address is 2SNsMPC3SStHrbwfLyRL9HsTDMUKXcvwc1Ubz7gQsfcJqQ26JzB

What can be wrong? I'm mining for a pretty long time and everything was ok, till I changed 51.255.38.3(cestballot) to nexusminingpool.com

Thank you

I'll try to contact the pool operator and see if he can work through this with you.

Thank you. I've already PM'ed him. I wrote here also. Maybe someone solved this issue.

UPD: I've wrote in two places, because I'm renting rigs and it is important to know, will I lose money if I continue mining. So I'm in a hurry.
P.S. sorry for my english

UPD 2: paulthetafy helped me to solve the problem, which was due to DDOS protection as I have several machines sharing the same payout address.

try https://ibwt.co.uk

you can fund via royal mail with minimal verification if you're just buying bitcoins (via royal mail)

https://ibwt.co.uk/en/company/funding

and its very quick, 1-3 days to deposit, depending on what day you send mail.

Why buy Neptune KNC? Bitcoin Diffculty
by
Jobe7
on 12/01/2014, 14:31:52 UTC
I was about to purchase a KNC neptune until I ran over the math.

https://www.kncminer.com/products/neptune-second-batch

If there not shipping till May - June why would anyone purchase these when the difficulty of bit coin will rise so high?

When it would arrive you would only make 2 Bitcoins in your first month.. Less the one in the second then half again the next?  With the price at over 12$k with VAT wouldn't you be losing a a lot of cash?

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

5-1 – 5-31 (136 days)    15042 M    2.094    2.052    25.14
6-1 – 6-30 (166 days)    33047 M    0.9941    0.9743    26.11
7-1 – 7-31 (197 days)    55850 M    0.4926    0.4827    26.6
8-1 – 8-31 (228 days)    122 G    0.1973    0.1933    26.79
9-1 – 9-30 (258 days)    207 G    0.05148    0.05045    26.84

Am I getting something wrong or have people over looked these facts?

Well I cant evan see the cubes on the network now? Virgin Media gave me a free fucking upgrade and broke both my cubes during the process... well fuck.

I tried just buying another router to plug in and still cant see the miners in the config.

Does anyone know how to factory reset the cubes? I pressed the button but it doesn't indicated its been reset.

Guys my miner was working at 38gh fine, now its back down to 30? Any reason why and how can i increase back to 38 again?

Are you using a stratum proxy, by chance?  When that happens on mine, it's usually because the proxy is stuck sending diff1 shares for some reason.

After a restart (or three) of the stratum proxy, it will start sending higher diff shares again (starts at diff3 and climbs) and hashrate goes back up.  This is just my personal experience with Cubes and stratum proxy connecting to Eligius.  Also, purely anecdotal, but I use the "-rt" switch with mining_proxy too.  I'm pretty sure I only get diff1 shares w/o it, but really need to confirm thisConfirmed, diff1 shares only when I do not use "-rt".

I tried restart but still at 30, i am using a blade and a cube so getting around 40ghs at the moment.

What do you mean about the -rt? Will that help as I had 2?

Its not regulated, because its not a regulated business.

Think of it like, if a gardner was trying to get an alcohol selling license for cutting down trees. He wouldn't be able to.

The IBWT team are uploading some 'Resources' detailing the actual points of law (in the UK) and FCA regulations as explained and discussed with FCA (as FCA helped explain, they know their Bitcoin!), they'll notify people when its been uploaded.

I will post links to it when its uploaded, then everyone can clarify for themselves.

https://ibwt.co.uk/company/resources

(not uploaded yet)

On a side note, IBWT will be introducing an alternative funding system soon (via Royal Mail).

There will be News Releases and similar when its all ready.

The site seems dead,

I created an account, but I cannot login afterwards.

Is there a max length to passwords? Mine is only 32 chards, maybe thats the issue?

I have been informed that there is no character limit for the password. Please try again, if you have further issues, please contact support@ibwt.co.uk with as much detail as possible (obviously not your password though).

Please email the team at support@ibwt.co.uk and they will fix the issue.

And thank you for the WoT suggestion, I'll forward it to the team.
