I was trying to mine some cryponight on my 1080ti with ccminer but when I launch it it immedatly closes..do I have to enter a -l config ? I also d/l and installed cuda 9 to see if that helped but no dice.

Try putting "pause" (without the "") in a new line in your .bat file. If there are any errors it will keep the window open and let you check what the error was.

The card has been on the minining for more than 12 hours, 3000 balls and coins are still missing. How long is the block extracted, tell me who knows? Maine on the pool http://owlminingclub.com.
This pool has very low hashrate, so it finds blocks rarely. => you can wait up to several days untill you earn your coins. But don't worry, in the end you should get approximately the same amount as if you'd mine on a big pool.
Tell me please a good pool, where the blocks are quickly extracted.

Zcoin difficulty is absolutely insane.
I stopped mining it. No way it's profitable for small miners.
What are generally good settings for equishash on a 1080 ti for equishash? like Zcash,Zen,komodo etc.
My scenario. I pay .15 cent in summer and .22 cents in winter. So power efficiency would be nice but I'm also looking for good balance with max profit potential. Looking to sell these coins 1-2 years from now

That's pretty good. I have excel charted for every 5% increment in TDP. At 80% TDP FE 1080Tis do 680-690 sols/s. 15% increase in power, but only 5% increase in hash rate. Right now it's not really worth pushing your cards due to high electricity cost, who knows when BTG comes out it might be worth.
I have best results with -250 memory not + ( 72 TDP,130 core clock) => 700 h/s with aorus, 685 with windforce
My best result are 70 TDP, 200 core clock, 300 memory for Equihash and for everything else it's 70 TDP, 150 core clock and 700 memory. If I drop my memory to - then my power consumption goes up.

Does anybody trying to say that this not a botnet, AWS thieves or any other kind of cheaters? 70GH it's about 40 000 GPUs like GTX 1070. GPU farm, really? Also ~40Gh fat whale is sitting on private pool... trying to say that this is GPU farm?? Really? 23K GPUs? This is bullshit.
Now botnets, aws thieves and other whale fully controlls network. + more than 85% of network hashrate are sitting on Mininhpoolhub, and devs don't even care.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Everyone keeps asking "when's the next exchange?" or "any updates what's next?" if you want to see 'next' you have to donate.
We're 61 or so days old - moved very quickly. Also, we're going through the first phase of slow growth since all the early adopters are being shaken out. Those early adopters that were able to mine millions of coins are also just trying to make a quick buck. All projects will have that - that will end eventually but we need to go through the growth phases.
One of the major implementations for further securing the network is being worked on - and that is more infrastructure decentralization. The Copay ported wallet (MyBitcoinZ) relies on heavy infrastructure and community members in #developers @ Slack / Discord are working on making docker images and distribution packages so anyone with the resources can add more API endpoints for the wallet. This does not affect the core node wallet, those will always work since they are the core of the blockchain.

It goes both ways, mining is not free and the people mining and holding is a big part of the community. When some information is asked for it's because they are interested in the project.
It's difficult knowing whats going on when the information is spread out over many platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Slack, Reddit, Discord, etc. Maybe just keep it in one place and share it from there, because there is a lot more being discussed for instance in Slack then on the forum where most newcomers come for information. The community is really trying to make something of this coin and I have the utmost respect for everyone trying to help.

As a small miner myself, I agree. It's all a crap-shoot to mine a coin before the farms move in and destroy not only the difficulty, but also the value of the coin when they dump it.
Most coins these days are a pump and dump and most people see alt-coins as quick money makers.

for the last 2 months i have had nicehash miner 2 running full time on a home pc left on 24/7 but also the pc is used for daily us, it uses a Zotac 1080ti extreme edition on these settings http://prntscr.com/h65lq7 ie under clocked

I would say if you're not in it for the long run "HODLING" then yeah, it's probably fine. Doesn't help getting more serious if you just want something that mines for Bitcoin.
I have about $270 that I've mined with 2x 1080 ti's for a month. (The $ is a rough estimate as the prices go up and down.) HODLING for the long run!

Getting 1335 sol/s with 2x 1080 ti's on Equihash.

I also switched to mining XZC today with my 2 x 1080 TI's on MPH. Will let it run for a couple of days and see what happens. Was mining HUSH at about 2 to 3 coins per day on Suprnova. I'm not mining for profit, but I am trying to move between coins as the difficulty changes. I am hodling.

Im making a proposal to add 0.5% to supernova pool as a fund for using to pay for one of the bigger exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex,its great this is a voluntary project with no premine but to grow we need an exchange that has volume and buyers,having a small war chest will help development and as a community this is a way to support BitcoinZ,Im not involved with development just a miner showing support for an honest project and want to help BitcoinZ growth.
We could add a poll on supernova pool and find out if we have support of miners there,Ocminer is a cool guy and I am sure he would support the communitys wishes.

What do you guys think about www.awesomeminer.com ? I used the free version for a while and it was actually not too bad to use. I think if you're new to mining and need an easy setup, this might be the easiest to switch between coins, algo's and pools.

I started mining with 2 x 1080 ti's yesterday and have about 1200 BTCZ on supernova. But it's being killed by mining farms now, only making around 3.150 BTCZ/Day now.
Don't know about the future of the coin, but at least I grabbed some before the pools got swamped.

Suprnova just got even more ridiculous. One miner 539,330 KH/s, estimated 1,716,533.273 BTCZ/Day. It's these farms that kill the distribution between pools, not the small miners like me with only 1,000 KH/s estimated 3.145 BTCZ/Day.
