As we all see over time, newbies spread news. Are there relations between ZEC and VEIL? Serious relations, I meant? VEIL is totally diferent from ZEC, at least in their algorithms. I am not a fan of VEIL, but it is irrelevant to post news on ZEC here. For the story of ZEC developers dumped their coins, is the news reliable enough to believe? And, please show us proof of ZEC developers dumps in the ZEC topic, not here. 
They have similar block reward models (they include founders rewards) and that is what I'm referring to.
Veil is not associated with ZEC as far as I know, but there are VERY FEW projects which have founders rewards. So the example of the ZEC founder DUMPING his rewards gives me a lot of reason for concern about other projects with founders rewards.
Can the VEIL team give me some assurances that the founder isn't going to dump this project into the ground?
Why do founders rewards even exist? They exist so one individual (the founder) can get rich. VEIL is a Privacy coin. Privacy coins are used in Niche markets and will never come close to having global adoption on a mass scale. If you have to ask why then I don't have the time to explain this to you.... What I'm saying is the founder isn't going to limit his wealth (acquired in VEIL) to Niche markets. He's going to cash in at some point. Can somebody from the VEIL team explain to me why this won't be the case? The tech is fantastic but I can't help but think this is doomed to fail because of the economics.

I'm sorry but Veil is a project which will fail dramatically. Investors will get dumped on continuously.
50% of Veil block rewards go to the team in some form or another. This includes a 5% founders reward. The tweet below shows what happens with bad economic models like this:

ZEC also has 'founders rewards'. This founder has continued to dump ZEC and it is now making fresh all time lows. By having founders reward the fate of the project rests on one individual. The main motive of this individual is to 'make money', this is proven by them including founders rewards in the first place. This individual WILL (with certainty) sell VEIL holdings as VEIL being a privacy coin is not going to replace fiat and therefore is only serving niche communities and services. The founder isn't going to limit his wealth to these areas.

The thread wasn't created to shill Phore. It was created to get an overview of promising projects from the community. I gave an example of one project which I am tracking and hold a position in. I presented factual information about this project. It wasn't a shill in the slightest. I have other positions and will continue to post them throughout the thread.
Seeing such profit now it's almost impossible. The cryptocurrency market isn't like it used to be what you should look out for is possible x2 to 10 not x100 except you're going to hold for years which isn't a guarantee as well.
You can see many projects are -98% from ATH at the moment with active development.
The crypto industry is ridiculously small with an overall marketcap of $174billion... If crypto and blockchain technology really is going to start becoming mainstream then we won't just see 100x rises. We will see some 1000x or more.

- No ICO / No Premine. Self funded via a portion of block rewards which goes towards development. Funds are community governed. Completely decentralized.
- Recently appointed a CEO who is a former Deloitte executive and Co-founded a startup which sold for $663 million to Oracle. CEO's past clients also include HSBC, Bridgewater and JP Morgan.
'Trisko was also one of the founding members at Textura Corporation, a leading player in Construction Contracts and Payment Management cloud services. When word gets out that ETH are using Phore code / collaborating with them then it could potentially blow up.
If the new sharding architecture is as good as it sounds (they are apparently better than ETH because Phore will allow different consensus rules to run on different shards, whereas ETH won't which means ETH is limited) then this has the potential to be a $1 Billion + Marketcap which is crazy. Like 350x returns from here.

I'm in crypto to get rich. There are coins which pop 100x and even 1000x in small periods of time. Its possible to become a millionaire very quickly in this space.
My two biggest scores (in $ terms) we're with Nano (Raiblocks) and NEO (Antshares). I've also had some massive multiples but not earnt as much on a few low caps.

Having risks to be potentiall abused by attackers are good. It's good for investors to see the announcement that emphasize PHORE has zero risk, and does not the same as other Zerocoins. Unfortunately, I still don't know how the PHORE team can make it. The image shows Synapse, so what are main mechanism of the Synapse that can help PHORE become zero-risk coin. Being a zero-risk coin is amazing, but it is clearly a very ambitious target because attackers don't feel tired with their efforts to find out weaknesses of networks to do their attacks and steal money.
Synapse is a sharding architecture which means they can have different privacy protocols (Zerocoin / Ring CT....etc) on different shards. This means users can have a choice of what Privacy protocol they use provided there is a shard built for it.
