I recently bought an S4 from bit main on their latest deal. I decided to host it with umisoo and have to pay 150 $ /month for the power usage. I found lot of good reviews on f2pool and decided to use them.
I have now been mining for 1 week and my average hash rate is ~2 Ghash. My average payout is 0.02400611 BTC. That is equal to 0,7 BT per month. Which with the rate of today is equal to ~260 $. So that means that my profit is 110 $.
Note that I didn't calculate with the difficulty increase. With this small calculation you can easily see that it will take me at least 8 months of time to get my invested money back = 850 $.
Am I doing something wrong or this is how it is ? Should I change pool ?
Well, good thing is that difficulty is halted and dropping. You have a good chance to ROI...
I just calculated all the wallets compared to a few weeks ago and was shocked! Went back to calculate the total sum a month ago and it was staggering!!! The top #1 owner is SHOCKING!Over 1.29% even at this stage in the game and nobody can get near. Do your research guys. Get out while you can!
I dont get it, what does top #1 owner got to do with "get out while you can".
Could save some electricity charge if the power supply fancy LED lights are kept off.
All those LED lights spend less than a 1% of electricity involved, in fact real number is probably even < 0.1%. Next to nothing would be gained by turning them off.
I prefer LED turned off as each LED is about 1 watt and the total farm would take 20-30 watts which is still a burden when it come to ROI...

The rally only last 2 days and it only hit 475$ before dropping back to 400$ level. Clearly 400$ is the bitcoin value for long long time..

Faucets is the way to go until you hit SR member... I remember some faucets giving average of 500 satoshi which is pretty high..
There are those out there that're giving 1000 every hour
Which one? I only found 500 max.

Re: Mining Komputer Introduces the Model T x11 and x13 Mining Rig
Cmon, you need ASIC to compete in Crypto world. GPU is like power hungry and low hashrate.
ASIC mining is not compatible with the x11 and x13 algorithms. Go ahed and point your ASIC miner to the darkcoin pool and see what happens.
You can only use a GPU or CPU to mine x11 and x13. When mining x11 and x13 coins, the mining speed is a lot slower than mining bitcoins.
Some people are already mining x11 and x13 with FPGA (based on darkcoin forum). So I am sure ASIC would be here when darkcoin market rise to as huge as litecoin.

The cloud mining company don't want some competitor to come and cut their wires to reduce the difficulty.

Re: The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing
I ordered a few S3s from Bitmain and they shipped them nice and quick, with a delivery estimate of Friday. I checked this morning and the delivery estimate is gone and the message says:
The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
It hasn't moved all day and now Friday is looking unlikely. Has anyone else had this issue? How long does it take to clear customs?
Check with your custom (and try to ask what is the problem), sometimes they take weeks before releasing it to you, but if you call up and ask them then it might be faster alittle..
