Re: Bitcoin is Freedom
by

Bitcoin is Freedom on the grounds that at whatever point I have a period that I am doing work with it in light of the fact that Bitcoin has no time constraint like for working hours in a day on the off chance that you do work then you can earn.Bitcoin gives the monetary flexibility to the general population.
True and it only by means of work because in bitcoins you will have a freedom to transact online send payment or receive without identity of yours and most importantly is you can earn without limits. It depends on yourself what methods or ways will you do.
Bitcoin mainly reason for freedom was in financials aspects. And give freedom to have big dreams and freedom to believed in that it will be achieve and fulfill. But it all depends on your way how you're gonna  do it.
There is no doubt that bitcoins have given us financial freedom. People are rushing to invest into bitcoins because in this way, they are going to be sole owners of their money. No one else is going to keep an eye on their assets just like banks and governments do. Indeed, at the end of the day, all depends on us how we use them.
Yes bitcoin is freedom because bitcoin is giving you the financial freedom where you can freely use your amount without any fear of extra and unnecessary taxes involvements.

The decentralization of bitcoin is also a key indicator of bitcoin freedom where you can buy or invest by it without any boundaries means there is no restriction in your investment.
I agree with you that bitcoin is giving a financial freedom i am student and i can only work in my country when i am 21 but know because of bitcoin i have the freedom to earn even before that and i can finally pay my college fees with that money.

Yes it is not gambling because with gambling you have to pay more than you lose and if you lose in bitcoin you only lost what you had invested in it and even from that you can make a profit if you know how, but you can also gamble in a lot of casino's with bitcoin but i don't think that that is an smart decision.

Its not too late to buy bitcoins. Many people dont even hear about bitcoins. So don't be late anymore.
Nope! There no particular period to buy. Purchase Bitcoin always worth, history at last says that.
No it is never too late to buy the bitcoins because there fluctuation is a common matter in the international market now there value has risen to a desired value for the sake of customers.

The best time indeed to buy them is when the prices are low and then keeping them safe in your digital wallets not using them or selling until the prices again fluctuate to an upper level.
Yes your right this time for buying bitcoin because the price of bitcoin never down the price of bitcoin growing up in the coming time of future the bitcoin price are so high now this is time for buying bitcoin .
I don't completely understand you but i think what you are trying to say is that the price of bitcoin is very high and it is almost impossible for someone who earns not so much to actually invest in bitcoin but you can earn bitcoin through here and use that as an investment.

everytime, always, all the time, everyday, every week, you can go on and on. this means acquire bitcoin when you have the fund. because while you are thinking, the price could rice in the next minute.
You are absolutely right but when it goes down it is the most best way to buy it like last week it was at $3.2k and now it is again $4k see if people bought ith then they would already have $800 dollar profit.

Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet.
by
Johansson6

In order to use bitcoins you need internet and not everyone uses internet . Most of people don't know how internet/computer works so maybe its the main reason why  Most people don't even know what this is yet. For knowing or starting buying selling bitcoin, you need to have basic know how of the Internet so how will those people operate and use bitcoin who are totally uneducated.

that is not the point, we are living in the world where internet have been the primary needs just like you need to eat. so i think in most places internet available already , the point are when even a classy full of technology store won't adopt a new big thing like bitcoin.

they could do it easily btw. just the matter of time to make them convinced and feel not fear using bitcoin with its volatility.

Amazob, Ebay etc will have to accept Bitcoin one day, and then the smaller stores will follow. Some german online shops for computer hardware accept Bitcoin already.

Why will Amazon and eBay have to accept Bitcoin someday? It's not necessarily a given that even if they do, smaller companies will follow suit (although it's probably more likely than not), but there's argument presented as to why you think those large companies will eventually have to, and the rest of your point reiesnkn this assumption.

We that know about bitcoin should do everything within our means to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrency to make their life better. From my country over 95% of our citizens do not know about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.  We should to make campaign or a tv add to promote it.

Re: Is Bitcoin money?

Bitcoin is decentralized which is pretty awesome that we wil not be in the control of the government, it's value is not a subject for inflation where usual money is, so it's an opposite and we like it because it's freedom as well.
I think that is true but it is not an actual answer to this question bitcoin is a online currency that people want to have and need because of its freedom and the fact that is not controlled by a bank or something but only yourself and that is what people want.

Gambling stays more risky because you do not have any grab on it you lose or you win, trading is still a bit on the control.

Re: Dark marketplaces?

Dark marketplaces are mostly considered bad but I think that they can be good if you think about it, its not that they are doing a bad job in the bitcoin economy as a example and it made the bitcoin also more popular than ever right ?
Yes the darknet markets have had a big impact on bitcoin but so has wikileaks, without those two things in the early days who knows what might of happened to bitcoin, they sure helped launch things.

I agree most likely it never would came so far as it has been now, it had some bright sides but is now pretty negative for the bitcoin.

Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins?
by
Johansson6
on 12/01/2017, 22:33:29 UTC
I didn't ever buy bitcoin. But with the current price for bitcoin I really regret that I didn't buy bitcoin on last August-September when the price dropped. I doubt we will ever see such price for bitcoin ever again.
Nothing has late even now if you want to get the profit which every user got with the previous price rise then you can get by buying now as the price came down a little lower due to bulk sale of different investors but once again the price will increase when people will start once again to buy for further investment.

I buy bitcoins because its profitable its simple but really true, you can make a lot of money with just holding it.

The most people are also doing it and I agree about it and I also do it to be honest because I think its logical.

Johansson6

For speculation? To buy on the dark web? To buy online on sites like purse.io? To send money? To do business? To have your money under your control?
What is/are your purposes when yu buy bitcoin?

I would buy bitcoins to hold them and wait for the price increase.

After the price is above 1100 USD i`m too afraid to buy ,so i will wait.

I`ve never used btc to buy from the dark web or from purse.io.I`m afraid of  the scammers.

I'm also doing this, its profitable and can really let you make a lot of money with simply holding it, its easy and very profitable.

Re: Is "tipping" worth?
by
Johansson6
on 05/01/2017, 04:05:04 UTC
If anyone is hoping to earn any tips on this forum, you're probably in the wrong place. It seems the vast majority of people are here to earn through signature campaigns (and alike) rather to spend/give away.

But, outside bitcointalk, the tipping/donating culture among bitcoiners still holds somewhat strong. Looking at any popular project, youtube channel, charity etc. that accept bitcoins, most do receive quite meaningful (and regular) btc income. Few examples:

WikiLeaks: over BTC4,007 received to the current address
FreeDomainRadio: over BTC669
even Lifeboats (RNLI) received almost BTC12 despite the fact that btc donation option is hidden and not accessible from the main page (you have to google search for it).

So if you're doing something that a lot of people find really useful, then there's a big chance you'll get some appreciation tips.

Exactly, maybe before when the price of bitcoin was not too high even the ones with less coins could tip someone with bitcoins but now a days if someone has a very limited amount of bitcoins then they would just think of holding them as the price is too high, and only the ones with a lot of bitcoins might think of tipping someone with them for a service or something.

I don't see how high btc price prevents anyone from tipping. You know you could just send smaller amount, right?
More of a problem are the high tx fees, it doesn't make much sense anymore to tip anyone with $1 worth, if you have to pay ie $0.50 fee.

Indeed I agree, the fact is that tipping is still worth it and you can stay doing it even with lower amounts right, so what is the problem..

Re: Is BTC going to crash again like in 2014??
by
Johansson6
on 05/01/2017, 03:57:11 UTC
After this rally up that might get the price of BTC up to 1,300 usd, I am pretty sure BTC is going to crash again and it will hit the 400 usd.

What do you think?

Crash is really possible but not to the point it will go back again at $400. Yes it has chance but today's bitcoin is different from the status of bitcoin in the past where coins today are much distibuted in different exchanges. So if a crash happen in one exchange, the downfall is not that much.

I see correction price closely to $1000. If it's go back to below $400 then that is really a doom as it proven that bitcoin can't maintain it's support from the community even with lots of users today.

I agree with you when you say the today status is different from the 2014 status. The situation is different now, since 2014 many more persons started buying bitcoins and many more bitcoins were mined. We know the price won't steady in the price we see now, but I don't think the price will regress to 400$, it's too low, bitcoin community is strong now and won't let this happen.

Yep that is true, its also more stable right now and it now not been really going fast, it has been down more fluently.
