Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔥HOST.GAMES🔥 THE ONLY CASINO GAMING PROTOCOL FOR EMERGING MARKETS

Why are casinos shifting to cryptocurrencies? Huh
The main reasons that players are facing now  fraudulent activities and lack of trust. Cryptocurrencies can prove to be a great alternative for societies which have an unstable financial system. Using blockchain makes process more fair and transparent.

Yeah I understand. If cryptocurrencies are indeed the future, then its high time for casino's and other platforms involving fiat to move into crypto.

games like these will connect like minded people and provides a platform  for online gamers.

Yeah, that is assuming that there are players who themselves have a very strong social presence and expanding social networks. I am not sure there are many gamers who do that. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have read in a lot of places that gamers in general do not have a very strong online social presence.

Well the opinion is very divided on that. Host games offers online multiplayer gaming. And if there's one thing I know about about multiplayer gamers is that these guys thrive on online social communities. There is a reason why there are so many existing online communities. SO if these guys play on block chain, they will be able to invite people from their social communities, which will lead to further expansion as each person invited has his own social community. So to summarize, there are gamers do have active social networks.

Okay. So that helps with the rapid user acquisition of this platform. Like gamers can spread awareness about this platform thought their close knit social networks, and thats how it will attract more people into it.

hosting a game with just one click, that is something new.
Yes that is true. It surpasses all the bureaucracy and obligations that prevents games to be set up in the first place

It would be interested to understand how the main net works!

I am actually waiting for the Mainnet too. It will be really interesting to see how the gaming industry takes a turn from there. I think gaming on the host protocol will be a very different experience than the dapp

hosting a game and inviting friends through social media, this just made online gaming a better place.

I think the fact that they have made it possible in blockchain is commendable. I dont know about any other blockchain game which has the expansion feature through social media

Will the bull run return this December?

Last year we had a great run. Despite the downs in the beginning of this year, I still believed that by the starting of October, the will be a good run, but I don't see anything of significant improvement. What do you guys think?

Services section is only for services that either offer something to do or ask others to do something for them by paying money. It is not a place to discuss anything.
You need to move your topic to Altcoin Discussion since you are discussing ICOs and they belong to altcoins.
In future, make sure where the thread belongs before posting it.

Thank you Alone055. I will make sure that I choose the right category before posting a thread.

Do you think that ICO's nowadays are becoming very superficial?
by

Hey!! So i have been seeing for the past couple of months that there are a lot of upcoming ICO's which are being done for the sake of being an ICO, not to create something that can better our lives. I will not call out any names but I see a lot of ICO's with a product offering which is average (I mean they either sound very basic or they do not have a significant contribution to the society at large and the blockchain community in particular) at best, but they try to make it look big only through marketing, advertising and other elements.

Please do let me know your opinion on this.  Smiley Smiley

Hey, so I think we that eventually blockchain will have mass adoption at some point. Already there are firms which are experimenting with blockchain in various industries such as healthcare, retail, security and gaming, among others. So yes, there is scope for the future. Otherwise why would more and more people will be attracted to it everyday?

Re: BTC ETF creating a hype?but, what really is BTC ETF means?
by

A true Bitcoin investor will not be happy, if a Bitcoin ETF is approved, because this will only create massive volatility in this market. You will find that the institutional investors will manipulate these Bitcoin ETFs with large capital reserves and you will get massive spikes and huge dumps, which will destroy the use case for Bitcoin to be used as a currency.

Some people rejoice about the SEC's decision to deny the Winklevoss's ETF, because they know it will destroy Bitcoin as a viable payment option.  Angry
As a true bitcoin lover I don't want ETF to get approved on bitcoin after read your suggestion. Undecided

Already the volatility of the itcoin is the reason that bitcoin to be used from currency so imagine what will happen it will be used only for dumping and bumping from big investors then the future or the bitcoin will be uncertain.

I agree. I dont see any good coming from the bitcoin ETF as such. It will truly disturb the market and give small players less scope to make major profits

I think it all comes down to the objective of our trading, whether we have the time to actually keep scanning the market at every interval to look out for new spheres of profit or if we want to buy and hold for a time period by which there should be some profits.

Do you think that there is saturation in the market?
by

Nowadays, I can see a lot of upcoming ICO's who promise to do this or that and thus make the world a better place? Do you think this is going to hurt the crypto market in general? I am talking in terms of trust, potential and ofcourse, the earnings you make at the end of the day (or a particular time period, for all investors out there)?

Re: Fundamental vs Technical?

I see the technicals of a token; only after being satisfied with the fundamentals.

Fundamentals are a must; cause unlike share markets; alot of tokens/coins are scam.

I see what you are saying. So again a combination right.
Btw, I am actually kind of paranoid when dealing with new altcoins cause of this very reason. That is why I always go for the fundamentals in this case.

Re: To hell with regulations and government interference
by
John Trevor
on 21/09/2018, 15:12:56 UTC
I started to agree with your points until the below paragraphs.

We need no regulations.  We need no KYC.  We need no ETF's.  What we need to do is show the world why Bitcoin is better than government FIAT and let Bitcoin take over that way.  We have a real shot at gaining freedom of finances however it seems most are tripping over themselves to give all that away to the government as quickly as possible.

Please consider government interference in crypto for the future generations sake.  They will not have the amazing earning potential we have.  They will just get a shit sandwich of every transaction they make begin on a public ledger.  Perfect tax slaves.  Are we handing our kids over to the system by allowing the governments to just step in like this?

What essentially you are proposing, is non-compliance with government regulations. If you want to see it happening, you will probably have to start a revolution against government, like Renaissance, that happened between 14th and 17th centuries in Europe.

At the current situation of the world when majority of the countries are dependent on each other and the world is controlled by a handful of powerful countries, such idea of revolution is nothing less than a daydream!

Such revolution will bring no impact on cryptos unless and until we can buy our daily goods using that currency. A currency will only succeed if it is used as a medium of exchange. This can be only achieved through compliance!

I do agree with you. Try making 7 billion people agree on using crypto to buy daily stuff

Re: Stop Panic Trading!

After the 2008 economic crisis, Warren Buffet still stayed at his game, looking at undervalued companies and also established companies, and buying up shares of these firms. So I think we can take a lesson or two from him about panic selling.
