Stop buying AMC you idiots. Buy ActiveMining.

10k amc sold for 0.003...
This is why it's so absurdly easy to make money trading bitcoin securities. People have no idea what they're doing! They probably just saw the price going up and decided to buy. It's like taking candy from a baby. I already tendered all my shares but I'd sure as hell sell some marked up AMC shares.

Perhaps for many it is more the fact they believe in the Bitcoin concept and want to support it knowing it is also a sound long term investment.

Cocksure arrogance doesn't serve well, but best of luck to you.

just think for a moment.

crushing. yeah right!

noone knows what is going to happen by end of year BUT-

ASIC MINER standing by to deploy
half of BFLs might ship + their chips
AVALONS
Avalon CHIPS
who knows what else avalon will offer this year
Bitfury's
KNCS
unknown players

you guys are truly naive if you think AMC can make a decent dent.
they can play but i think everyone needs to get their expectations in line with reality

"If I wasn't naive I wouldn't bet big on ActM and if they succeeded I wouldn't make my fortune."

or

So, as far as I know, AM shares were 0.1 btc at IPO and recently hit over 5.0 btc which represents a 50 fold increase in value.

ActM shares were 0.0005 btc at IPO and would be valued at 0.025 btc if they also increased by a factor of 50.

What happened with AM that allowed for such a massive increase in value?

Is it fair to expect the same, or similar, price increase with ActM, assuming they fullfill their promises?

By the time ActM equal AM in terms of network hashrate, and assuming other competitors at this point have also played their hand, would this mean that the giddy heights of a 50 fold increase from IPO price are resigned to the history books?

And finally, why hasn't anyone photoshopped 'Ken For President'?   Cheesy

Why such huge price difference between bitfunder & btct ?

AMC-PT on btct only started about two weeks ago and had an initial price of .0025, while on bitfunder the initial IPO price was .0005 in may, for the first 5M shares, since there was no hardware online at that time.

There are a lot of ppl on BF wanting to just flip their shares for a quick profit. I have a feeling they'll regret that very quickly! Grin

Agreed.  The vast majority of shares exist on Bitfunder.

Will the several thousand dollars worth of Fast-Hash sales be factored into dividends this week or the following week?

Personally I'd prefer if Ken took that sales money and put it toward the NRE to get the new chips made. This way we get the new machines to the market faster, meaning more profit in the long run.

Wrong - pay out the divs. If the market believes that putting the money back into dev costs we will rebuy the shares being issued.

WRONG - what are you people crazy ? those are not sales but pre-orders. You cannot do a thing with those money, what if buyer requests refund are you doing to do then?

THIS.

Dividend payment
The global Active Mining Corporation's income, including mining income, hardware sales via bitcoins, other cryptocoins and fiat transferred to bitcoins, will be paid to ActiveMining shareholders proportionally, when all manufacturing, maintenance, labor costs, R&D, and miscellaneous expenses are deducted. The first BTC0.0025/share dividends will only be paid to the first 10,000,000 AM shares sold, providing investors a priority in getting back 100% return of their investment.

Very shortly dividend payments will be increasing by a factor of 4. Then another 75% (Klondikes). This is a win win.

As a side note, the wording is left with the vague impression that only the shares sold so far will recieve dividends. With only 6 million shares sold at the moment, dividends split 40 million ways, has been reduced to 6M or 6.6x.

Adding 300GH to our 400 give the the payout another 75% payout.

[.00000139 + (.00000139*0.75)]*6.6 = .0001605/share If this deal goes through (and if my assumptions are correct).

Oh an fuck this when our 20,000 chips come in.

 Grin Grin Grin

These calculations must be wrong, unfortunately.

Current difficulty would earn approximately 16.5 bitcoins per day with a hash rate of 700 GH/s.

If you divide that by 6,000,000 and multiply by seven, you get a weekly dividend of 0.00001925 btc per share.

KISS is an acronym for "Keep it simple, stupid" as a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960.[1][2] The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complex; therefore simplicity should be a key goal in design and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. The phrase has been associated with aircraft engineer Kelly Johnson (1910–1990).[3] The term "KISS principle" was in popular use by 1970.[4] Variations on the phrase include "keep it stupid simple", "keep it short and simple", "keep it simple sir", "keep it super simple", "keep it simple or be stupid", "keep it simple and stupid", "keep it simple and straightforward", "keep it simple and safe", "Keep it simple student", "keep it simple, silly", "keep it simple and sincere" or "keep it simple and secular."[5][6]

Let's have this business done and allow Ken to crack on.  Smiley

PM can stand for Post Meridiem and it can also stand for Prime Minister.

It is actually AMC (us) and AM (them) or am I mistaken?

There is only one agenda and that is to prove or disprove the scam theory.

Otherwise what is to be answered that can't be asked using this forum?

How about we apply to get MegaMouth a day pass and if it gets granted, we send him on a day trip.

His unbiased view could be just what we need to find out if Ken is legitimate.  Cheesy

I wonder if there were really any idiots listen to Ken's "advice", sold their Asicminer shares and bought AMC?
I assume you didn't so WTF are you posting in here for? There are enough people spamming this thread with useless shit.

Well, I sold one, plus a few TATs, and will continue to post here and anywhere else I damn well please until we start to get substantive answers from Ken to substantive questions.  We've got substantive answers from others, and those answers are troubling indeed.  I didn't listen to Ken's "advice" - I was in a mood to re-balance a bit.  That one share is not a substantial portion of my ASICminer holdings.  I admit I did not do as much due diligence as I should have done, and I will not make that mistake again.  I trusted that the exchange had done more due diligence than they had.  Learned another very important lesson there, too.  Doesn't mean I'm not pissed.

Dropping a twenty on the ground isn't going to bankrupt me, but it's annoying.  Having someone pickpocket that same $20, I'm pissed.

I'll eat these words if it turns out that I am wrong.  You have it in text here.  What we don't have in text is Ken's substantive reply to the corporate structure.  "It seemed easier" doesn't cut it. It doesn't address the concerns people have been expressing MULTIPLE TIMES regarding that structure.  And this being the official thread, no it is not reasonable to have to go haunt IRC channels to try to get an answer.  We're not interested in a quick one-ff from a chat session. We want true discourse.

And for those who wish to say "hold on, there's an FAQ coming", I point out that Ken only said it "should" (his word) be written today. That's not "will."  And after that, he says it will enter a review process that will also take time. Yeahhhhh.

"Redacted docs coming soon"  Yes, I have Photoshop too.  What needs to happen is the ability to confirm the legitimacy of those documents with the counterparties. Is that also coming?

Dumped a few more of my shares at a big loss.  Unfortunately, I still have some, I'm still a shareholder, and I'm not going anywhere.

You were a bit silly to have purchased AMC shares in the first place given that the business structure has been public knowledge since day one.

You are being even more silly if you are selling now at a 'big loss'.

Are the trolls actually reading any posts other than their own?

Ken continues to post on this forum and is not hiding away as some suggest.

Simply look at his most recent posts and you will see he contributed four times on June 29th, five times on June 30th and once already today.

Steveioio, I'm close to putting you in the same bucket as MM, Swede and Entropy. I'll be watching carefully to see if you can stay on topic, or resort to spamming people with inane typing like they have.

I wont directly reply to this threat that adds nothing to the discussion. Pure spam.

lolstate role on this forum (this thread actualy, since he posted nowhere else) is to distract, derail debate and turn us naysayers into mere trolls
and spammers. He wants to pick a pointless fight and extend thread to thousands of pages of shit so that concerns and questions asked become
buried under nothing but crap and spam. Don't fall for it. Give sucker negative trust and ignore him, thanks!

More updates from Ken

"Have the documents scanned and redacted, waiting on PR approval."

A day passed, any update? No, of course. 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or 1 month makes no difference when there is nothing to show.

A day has passed and he's not been to bed yet.  Could someone please hide his crack pipe, then we might get some peace.  I suppose he'd only wake up more bitter when the reality of his situation hit him.
He tried but failed in his own Bitcoin startup and from that day swore to himself that he would ensure that EVERY other business idea that had potential would see his wrath.

The only scam I see here is this muppets attempt to scam all the genuine investors out of their future Bitcoins.

Please don't reply to me MagaMouth because I will not reply to you.  Ever.

Having caught up with the recent activity on this thread, I have to say I'm really impressed with the concerted attempt to undermine confidence in AMC.

I knew it was coming but didn't expect it to have quite the effect it had.

I just glad it's now over and we can enjoy the share price recovery.  It's a shame for those who panicked and will lose out.

It's interesting to see the top share holders buy up more shares.  I did the same and am feeling quite smug right now.

Here's to Ken and the team and an exciting few months ahead!   Grin

It's financials, not religion. If the math does not add up people will sell no matter the flavor of the cool aid.

Gotta love this guy.  Not content with showing up on a thread in a timely manner to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt for his own greedy gains, he tries to drag people into childish arguments while throwing insults and profanities around as if they were as abundant as AMC shares.

While tempted, I'm not going to respond to your 'religion' comment rather I thought I'd quote you and allow others the opportunity to decide on how big a pinch of salt to use.

"What the hell are you talking about, you must be sniffing glue or something.  It doesn't take a damn genius to read up village idiot!"

There is a definite theme running through Swede's posts, that of village idiots. My favourite is Tiff Tannen from Back to The Future, "Think McFly!". Proof that I was right to assume he share's his DNA with a root vegetable.
