honestly it seems quite confusing...
#1 could be actual proof that they were hacked...
#2 1btc? really? rather weird to ask for such a small amount, on top of what they made...
or, they did it exactly like that to make us think they were hacked, when in fact they weren't
i know that cloudminr coming back is rather improbable...

Hacked or not hacked is no difference as long the service is closed. My name is not in that list, so it's a fake - a cheap fake for only 1 BTC. *lol* Everyone could build such a list. You need only one fake-account who tells us in this forum that its name is on the list and all will believe it. How often you can sell it? Once, twice or 100 times? It's a Freeloader scam, but funny.
I guess, Cloudminr is already back with a new name because it would be stupid if they would'nt use the scam a second (or third?) time. And learning by doing applies to investors as well as for scammers because there is always room for improvement to earn more money.
The only question is: What is the name of the new cloud?

Scrypt.CC scam or was it really hacked? Yeah it was a ripoff deposits never appearing in my account, hashrate rising sky high when I first invested the plummenting and barely earning anything.. So I cut my losses and ran several months ago. So my account should have a 0 balance...

I got the exact same email. I checked the headers and it was to a address that is not associated with my scrypt.cc account so I assumed was spam.
Same here even I don´t have any account with Scrypt.CC..

We will have to stop accepting new orders until a new version of CLOUDMINR.IO is made from scratch. Our developers have estimated that it may take 2 - 3 weeks.
What we can tell now is that we have been hacked, and the hackers were able to access our source code and database, as well as editing it. Right now we cannot be sure that the payout addresses are the correct ones, as well as emails and other data. We do have backups but we need to know when exactly when the hackers gained access to our server.
Part of the bitcoins went to hackers addresses instead of our own payment addresses. Currently we are looking for any logs related to the hack and estimating the losses.
We need to create a new website from scratch on new servers as hackers usually leave backdoors for later access.
Stay tuned. The website should appear blank with a similar warning text to this announcement soon. If it's changed, please do not trust it.

We are not kidding nobody. A lot of effort is being put into making us look bad. We cannot access our emails and/or Twitter right now. We've already contacted their support.

i would like to work with trusted ppl not scammers ,cloud minning is getting more expensive and full of scams and crappy payouts.Interesting... I think I have read a same or very similar message from web hashprofit in December 2014. It was really bad luck for me.. I invested 2.1BTC there and they are gone an another day. Same excuses and a lesson for us.
Hmm.. It is so sad that it happened again. I really envy the past when people keep their promises. I have been thinking to build my own mining station. It is not so expensive and I will know exactly what I am paying for. I saw some Novello mining rigs and it looks promising just I am concerned about that electricity costs and I have to do some math.
