The path James has set down is the only path to success for quark at the moment. He has the talent/professionalism/maturity to make it happen. The other members already on the foundation have also proved themselves as motived, mature, and dedicated to quark.

Kolin's behavior has become increasingly erratic over the past few days/weeks.  Anyone who reviews his comments/actions over the past month (all public record) will see that it's almost as if he's trying to sabotage quark. Why else would anyone act like he's acting? Whenever any real tangible progress is being made, he stifles it's growth, calls it 'trolling' or something, and then rolls out his alternative plan which is 'supposedly much better, and will be unveiled shortly!'. This behavior is suspicious at best. My only hope is that he doesn't bring down quark with him, which it appears he's set on doing.

For the sake of quark, I hope this foundation succeeds.

Yay! A new website and foundation has finally gotten off the ground!

For those that don't know, James has been a really proactive member of quark and has shown himself to be a trustworthy and stand up guy (returning donations for the website when it appeared nothing was going to happen due to the mess that is the current state of affairs with quark). James also has the skill set necessary to promote and advance the adoption of quark.

The fact that Kolin will not be involved is a great thing.

Re: Bitcoinwisdom chart

Oregano, thanks for the clarification. However, usually 6h intervals means 6h intervals. But on bitcoinwisdom that is not the case. Hence the question.

My primary question though is "what is the exact interpretation of the green and red slopes to the right of top chart when dealing with 15 min time intervals". Ha ha, yes green is up and red is down. I'm asking for a more precise description of how it's calculated and how it influences where the market goes. As a research physicist at a top tier university I'm sorry if my lack of economics knowledge is not on par with all you geniuses. Cool I clearly need some education.

Fenix, I only skimmed what you wrote but it seems you're still not answering the question. All I really read is your omission that you have no friends. I'm sorry to hear that, but not terribly surprised based on our brief and not terribly illuminating interaction. The impression I get is you like to write, probably as an outlet for your lack of friendships. Why don't you try answering the question this time. Shall we go for round five? You can do it!

Thank you organo.

My main questions dealt primarily with the features that appear to be unique to the bitcoinwisdom chart. For example the time increments selected on top don't match up with the time the increments on the bottom. Yes clearly candlestick charts is an obvious question that can be looked up easily. My mistake for including that in my original question.

Mr. Fenix, you're still not making sense. You keep giving an air of 'I can predict your every move' and 'you're an idiot'. But you know what, if you're really so smart why don't you just answer the question? Since you clearly know the answer, right?

Shall we go for round four? Last I checked you're still losing. You can do it!

ha, well, I'm still not really sure what your point is...

If you know the answers, and they're as trivial as you say, why not just provide the information? I dare say it would take less time than doing whatever it is you're doing in this post.

Shall we try for round three? Cool

Ha, thanks.

Well being how I was asking about 8 or 9 very specific things, which as you said you know exactly what I'm looking for, in the time it took you to write up your post explaining nothing, you could have answered my questions.

Can someone please explain to a non expert exactly what's going in this chart? Like every aspect- the three charts, red candles, green candles, tables to the right, moving red and green slopes to right of the most current data, and time intervals.

If possible, a full breaking down of what's going on there would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Seriously.

Kolin- Quite acting like a kid and man up.

And by man up I mean only speak if you have something positive, mature, and properly written to say. Anything else you do is only serving to hurt quark and your reputation.

Read the large type again and meditate on it.

Excellent looking site! It's a shame you were so turned off on quark due to Kolin. I have the same feelings about him and almost abandoned ship because of him. Very spot on about him being 10% asset 90% liability.

Luckily, there's more to quark to Kolin; that's why I stayed and that's why I think it will continue to grow. In order for that growth to occur two things need to happen-

1. They need to get that foundation up and running and sort out all the projects that are just waiting for completion.

2. Kolin needs to stop communicating so publicly. Or if chooses to keep communicating in the public eye he needs to learn how to communicate like a grown up. For example maybe full use of grammar? If the face of bitcoin looked and sounded like Kolin it would have died a long time ago.

On the flip though he seems to be EXCELLENT at networking and he should probably focus on that rather then posting in the forums.

I guess we'll see which way the wind blows...

Interesting perspectives all around, thanks!

As an astrophysicist I'm used to dealing with graphs a lot. Being new to crypto's and day trading in general, it's been really wild studying these graphs which have the ability to make or lose one a lot of money; instead of finding a trend in metallicity of a class of pulsating stars, or the degree at which a scalar field can effect the acceleration of the universe.

It becomes really fascinating though when a little bit of math and statistics gets involved and then unseen patterns start emerging.

For now I've sticking with my buy and hold philosophy. However, I'm starting to experiment a bit with day trading, without actually using any money yet.

Before I stat diving in any other good resources for the emerging day trader of BTC?

All good to know, thanks! Thank you also for the link above, excellent reading!

Any other trading advice using quantitative measures? I really like the idea of illuminating parts of the market with math that wouldn't normally be visible...

Didn't see a dedicated thread for this and figured it deserved one. Looks superb! And my initial impression via email inform me that the team behind it is even more professional than the already great looking website. Any pre-beta testers out there?? Looking forward to the launch!
