low hash mining LUX ?
by

Hello everyone !
I'm actually mining LUXcoin with a 2 GPU rig, (Nvidia 1060 6Gb) and i'm having a very low hashrate compare to other coin i mine.. (with the same OC, i get 46MH/s on eth mining)
I saw on some sites that Phi2 doesnt get as much hashrate as eth, but still, i should be around 25Mh/s, and i barely get 5... How come ? something i missed in the parameter ? software ?
I'm mining with ccminer 2.3 and cuda 9.2.88, overclocking with Firestorm (settings : +215MHz gpu clock ; -250Mhz memory ; 105% power)
Anything i missed ? (and the weirdst thing is that this hashrate isnt that bad on profit calculator...)
Thank you for your time !

Re: DigitalPrice token staking reward

I don't have a masternode, so i can't explain how to set up a masternode, but there's plenty of good topics on that.

To start mining without masternode, you just have to download the wallet, set it up and save it (so you got a record of your DP wallet in case you have to DL it again).
Then you unlock the wallet with your 12 words password, and it starts stacking on his own ! Cheesy

for the record, i just took 2500 DP, and i earn 8.33 DP every 1 or 2 days now that it's working.
I'm guessing masternode (25.000 DP) is way more valuable, but i don't have money to put in it right now Smiley maybe one day !

Edit : You also have to send your DP on your wallet, didnt mention that part... Cheesy

DigitalPrice token staking reward

Hello !
I started accumulating DP token 2 weeks ago, not much, not even a masternode but i wanted to see the PoS reward before getting more...
And for 1 week now, i have an "expected time to get reward" of 1 or 2 days, but i never get it :/
if there something i have to do to get it ? am i just unlucky and my wallet was turned off everytime i was supposed to get this reward ?

Also i wanted to know, what if i turn off my wallet (or should i say my computer, yeah i do that sometimes x) )
is the staking reseted ?

Thanks !

Re: GPU RIG FRAME

I'm installing a rig in a the coolest room of my house, but it's a bit dusty, like stonewall and stuff...
I was wondering if some PVC around my rackcase, with a vent and some holes to change the air would be a good idea ? less dust, but maybe a bit more heat...
Any opinion ? Cheesy

I'm also wondering wich one to start with... If it's not already too late :p
But i'll go with the GPU mining, kinda for the same reasons you mentionned, the hardware is still worth something separetly if i decide to stop.
I'm planning on a 1500$ investment for 4GPU mining rig, and i'll see where this will go. I wanted to start with 6 GPU but dont want to spend too much in this uncertainty..

You want to learn more about mining or you want to be spoon feed ? there's plenty of information about all parts of mining everywhere now, it's really not that hard to get to it...
I started learning a bit about mining like 2 months ago, so i'm also a beginner, but i just looked on lots of pages, explaining the mechanism, the different tools, pools, coins, it's really not that hard to learn if you just spend some time on it... Don't be lazy and wait for someone to explain everything to you.

Yes mate!

Bitcoin Development Team ain't weaker than Ethereum Team as Bitcoin is open source, as long as you can make sure 51% of miner agree with your idea. You are good to go.

But IMO, Ethereum serves more purpose than just a currency, with the help of smart contracts, alot of things can be done with it

I agree, even tho btc will allways be the first one, eth still has a long way to go, because lots more uses.
