Re: Best masternodes out there? - Passive Income
by

Masternode was a whole new thing within the space years back. The idea and tech behind it was practically technical and seemed to be for the crypto elite. Initially, masternodes were not friendly for the average man to deploy and enjoy the benefits. DIVI was my first masternode (DIVI Copper) to set up because it made masternodes and crypto staking very easy to be understood and accessed through the user friendly wallet interface and one-click approaches. Currently, I host DIVI and Horizen masternodes.

In situations of economic crash, it is smart to adapt and switch to means that will provide easy ways of patronizing other services and items without having to spend much money. It is not always a matter of waiting on the governments to bring solutions. There are many online jobs available for those who permanently or temporarily lost their jobs during corona virus outbreak. There are also other means of selling and buying using cryptocurrency and other forms of digital money or even barter trading with neighbours (this must be done with precautions because of COVID-19)

Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency?
by
Jorge158
on 13/06/2020, 01:16:47 UTC
Stablecoins will remain stable coins and serve their purpose as safe haven during market situations where investors remain indecisive about a particular movement. Other altcoins along with Bitcoin will spearhead the revolutionary movement of cryptocurrency making spending, sending, receiving, and storing of funds faster, cheaper, and easier.

Looks like the corona virus will affect cryptocurrency too, I think that price will fall a lot, because people will need money and will sell Crypto, what are your thoughts about that?
I had similar thoughts in the beginning but it seems the opposite is being experienced now. People are now entering the market, investing hard, working from home on the internet, utilizing cryptocurrency as a form of payment etc. Could this also mean people are beginning to understand the concept and future of cryptocurrency?

Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin?

1. I have never used a purchase transaction through cryptocurrency, if bitcoin has been authorized in every country, of course it needs to be implemented

2. In general, acceptance of cryptocurrency is bitcoin

3. I am not good at analyzing the market, but seeing that market conditions are less stable, it doesn't seem too good to buy it now

4. maybe the gambling section is very suitable to be applied
Bitcoin is spearheading the entire cryptocurrency space towards the mass adoption we all anticipate yet there are equally good altcoins backing this movement with great support. This comes from the real world uses of most altcoins on the market. Check out on Lympo which is used to gear up sports, DOC.MTC which is used to access primary health care via its app, DIVI which can be used to purchase items on divithreads.com and gift cards from PolisPay app etc.
Never enter market blindly, learn how to do your own TA and seek council from experts.

I find it hard to trust altcoins, it's better not to jump into any new altcoins until several months or years, if you have any project in mind pls think twice and give it time, nowadays new projects hardly make it past two years or three and collapsed.... Top altcoins all the way if you think you really need one in your portfolio fast.

the key is how we choose the right alts to invest, because sometimes a hidden gems come not only in old altcoins but new altcoins too
and thats why we need to learn before earn
You're absolutely right on this one. It is not always a matter of old altcoins but there a new low-cap and mid-cap altcoins on the market that are performing very well in terms of product yielding, use cases delivering, partnerships, other developments etc. It takes only and extensive research to know all these that is why investors are encouraged on countless times to do their own research before investing.

Life is waht you make of it, and so is quarantine. I´m not even in one, but I started playing chess again. Anway, it´s a good tiem to start learning, e. g. there are plenty of free online courses on coding and developing on youtube. Educate yourself, use the time wisely!

This is not unfortunate if we can use quarantine time The best way to go online would be to gamble and trade We can earn some money by gambling and trading. This unfortunate time will be easily overcome Get rid of the financial crisis.
You have a point but remember that not everyone can work from home. Not all jobs require an internet or stay-home requirements to get things done. There are many great companies around the world that do not require internet in the production of their stuffs, example the soap companies, clothing companies, shoe companies etc. Lock down and quarantine becomes unfortunate for such companies and the world at large as production reduces or ceases totally.

Coronavirus can come down only when people decide to abide by the set standard precautions put forward by the World Health Organization. Since the treatment and vaccine has not yet been discovered, only the precautionary measures are the safest ways to stay uninfected by the virus.

Re: Why lots of people got scam easily
by

on 10/06/2020, 03:56:06 UTC
People get scam normally because they fail to research into the project before investing. Since there are equally scam projects just as there are authentic one, jumping into a project without a clue on its authenticity might end an investor falling a victim of a scam project. Research, pay attention to the projects team, concept and uses cases before joining.

To many people the lockdown of countries and quarantine has been a unfortunate and uncomfortable event amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. Lots of jobs have laid off workers and production seems to go town since most companies are still under locked down. To the internet worker, it has minor impact since most internet works are done from home to home.

Corona virus once there is treatment or a vaccine for it. If not, then countries have to put strict regulations forward in order to ensure that the precautionary measures set by WHO be adhered to. With this, the daily recorded cases will subside. Companies and travel can then resume to boost the economy.

Re: What would a Crypto-only economy look like?
by

Too much freedom is dangerous, decentralisation is good however I think we don’t have to decentralise everything specially the economy everything has their primary functions and some don’t need to be disrupted. Let banks and crypto exists harmoniously, balance should always be maintained.
Very true. Too much freedom without regulation will cause havoc within the crypto space. In situation like this, the projects will hide behind the name of decentralization and cheat users. It is better for a balance in the both cryptocurrency and Banks. However, crypto will always surpass that of Banks due to its revolutionary services.

Re: Importance of social media channels
by
Jorge158
on 08/06/2020, 02:33:18 UTC
It's seems many still don't know the importance of social media channels and telegram groups of the coins and tokens they own or promotes

Some hunters and investors lose vital informations like

1. Token swap
2. Smart contract swap
3. Bounty KYC
4. Bounty payout time and date

Many investors and bounty hunters makes this mistakes over and over and later they blame the project team. Just imagine the damages these can create.

Social media channels for projects are normally used for announcement concerning the progress of the project, its achievement, partnerships, upcoming developments etc. It is also used for promotional activities including giveaways, airdrops etc. It is necessary for bounty hunters and investors to utilize it well in order not to miss salient information or announcement.

To determine the rewards from bounty programs, the bounty participant must first check the allocation of tokens given to the bounty and the value of it based on the ICO price. Apparently, bounty programs have higher allocation than airdrops and depending on the number of participants that enroll for a particular campaign, decides the amount a participant may accumulate.

I don't know much about the coins on the list. But if for a limited coin, there seems to be more than this coin. I am sure, many people do not know the coin said. Because there are still many top coins that we can see or can recover.
It is all about choice and the scope of coins one prefers to research on. Aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, there are many mid-cap coins that have escalated during this bull season making great impact with their use cases. Classical example include some proof of stake coins like DIVI, Digibyte, Phore etc.

Zilliqa is a coin in my portfolio. Also Proof of stake coin like DIVI has made an impressive organic growth within the past few weeks. It moved from 130th position on the market (coinmarketcap) to 85th position. This tells how well the partnerships, developments, upcoming developments etc is causing an increase in its demand.

Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency.
by
Jorge158
on 06/06/2020, 01:49:25 UTC
The question is, is it even really necessary? It could be an alternative, a second option. Unfortunately that´s absolutely against what a FED or other fiduciary institutions are representing. A CBDC could be a third option as a compromise of states fiat money and digital currency. That would be a technologization of the already existing money, so from one angle it would eb cryptocurrency but not what Satoshi had in mind when creating Bitcoin.
Exactly the point! Fiat has the full support of the government hence thinking or waiting for crypto to entirely displace fiat is like a chase of the wind. It is best to focus on how to increase cryptocurrency adoption by first integrating it into the payment systems in our various businesses and companies. This will raise the status of the market.

I don't think the idea behind Satoshi's creation of Bitcoin was to displace fiat totally from the system. His aim was to create a payment system which offers better and revolutionary solutions to the old ones we had. Fiat already has support of the government and used as a significant metric for measuring the economic status of a country.

Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?
by
Jorge158
on 05/06/2020, 00:33:22 UTC
In my own opinion, considering the popularity of Bitcoin to the mass, I can say that there is still a lot of work for us to convince people to use Bitcoin as their currency. As of now, we really cant make it  as our main currency but we can have it as an alternative.
Definitely, it all comes down to the essence of awareness creation. It is only through creation of awareness via social media, meetups, seminars, one-on-one, etc that the people will be corrected from some of the misconceptions they keep about Bitcoin. Some are still of the believe or conception that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme.

Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?

Jorge158
on 04/06/2020, 01:50:31 UTC
In my opinion, we cannot forced people to use bitcoin as their first option of payments because they are still using fiat currencies as their main source of buying goods and services in their respective countries. It might be possible for bitcoin, but it will only be considered as an alternative in my opinion not unless bitcoin is already fully adopted in their countries and it is more guaranteed payment adoption is inevitable to all users.
No one is forcing people to adopt and use Bitcoin neither in countries where it is not accepted nor rejected. The focus should be on presenting Bitcoin to the mass, create awareness of it as many people as still not aware of the technology. Through this awareness creation, people with misconceptions about Bitcoin will be corrected and perhaps start using Bitcoin. Effective Bitcoin awareness creation can be done through social media platforms, one-on-one talk approach, hosting meetups etc.
