Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue?
by

It's because central bank are know how much bitcoin can help the people and the country economic, but i didn't understand why they didn't allowing full adoption of bitcoin operation as legal currency, one thing i senn the reason is because bitcoin is threat currency to become banks are die.

I agree with this. Central banks were not the apple of the eye of the people now that Bitcoin is genuinely established nowadays, and I think this will be a main reason why untill now Bitcoin is very productive through thick and thin And people is very persistent in everything that they were doing here in this community as we can Bitcoin gained the trust of the people which we can say as the reason why up to now is continuously running.

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
Jose Rizal
on 22/12/2018, 23:11:02 UTC
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
Though possible to happen but for me governments will never allow this to happened since it was a huge trouble for them, that would be souch empowerment to the cryptocurrency which make the fiat less important when both parties were helpful for each other. Fiat should not be eradicated and be extinct in distinction betweenthe two because there would be always an exception and I hope they dont suffer, like the minority people that we have.

anyone know what reason  stoping bitcoin many countries,,,,,,,,,,what reason ?

Mainly I think for security. Bitcoin possesses the feature called anonymity and it was very accessible platform on which onvaders or future terrorist will be credited as an ordinary group of people, bit the country didnt know they they were slowly being invade, and the lives of people matter this will be a great threat for everyone, starting from drugs up to database anomalies will be possible.

Re: Canada warns its citizens to only buy marijuana with cash

Source: https://www.mtlblog.com/news/canada/the-government-of-canada-is-now-officially-warning-canadians-to-buy-legal-marijuana-with-cash-to-protect-their-personal-information

In my opinion these are quite interesting news, as we often talk here how all the governments only want to replace cash, because they want to monitor all transactions, but it seems to be more complex than that. Privacy can protect people from criminals and malicious outside actors, and I think the benefits are far more important than some small number of criminals getting away with crimes.

In this light, crypto can find its place in economy as "digital cash", and some governments might officially recognize it.

I think this is because Bitcoin promotes anonymity, buying marijuana using Bitcoin maybe dangerous since it doesnt required so much things amd possibly this will lead for them to buy excessive one and probably will cause over dosing pr addiction. As far as I know Canada is also dtrict with allowing marijuana , and it js encourage only for the sake of medical purposes.

Re: Using bitcoin without internet

Blockstream Satellite Now Means Most Of The World Can Use Bitcoin Without Internet. What's your opinion on this one? Do you see it as progress or not? Huh

Probably this will be a good advancement for everyone, but at this point ai dont see anything to be done like this speciallu like in bitcoin it involves thousands of transactions everyday and it is pretty impossible for each to connect with other people without the aide of internet connections that we are using today specially in social media which here is also a very important thing like for signature campaigns.

Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency?
by

on 22/12/2018, 17:07:17 UTC
From the bearish market it seema that there are individuals who were benefited with cryptocurrency and taken it as an early christmas gift for them. Probably those who control the market are mostly likely to be the direct benefactors of bear market. What do you think and who do you think control the market of cryprocurrency?

Well as long as we bitcoin hunters and project makers were having a connection which is having a profit with the help of each other. People tend to think that they were being overcome by the rich people,  I can say that at some point there would be no fairness like in terms of profit people on higher position gets the beeter amount than just the worker only.

Re: PONZI SCAMS ARE STARTING TO RISE
by
Jose Rizal
on 22/12/2018, 16:12:46 UTC
Here in the Philippines, there's a rise in ponzi scams by using bitcoin to attract potential victims and it gives bitcoin a bad reputation. Many people are easily fooled by this scams because they are promised of a big return of investment when they invest on some people. I REPEAT, not on bitcoin BUT ON PEOPLE. Here a sample link:

http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/money/content/649487/more-bitcoin-scam-victims-surface-claim-billions-in-losses/story/

#From GMA News Site (Legit News Agency in the Philippines)

I agree with this, given that Bitcoin is starting to gain popularity again since the currency price is slowly taking its place now. Speculating 2019 will be a great year for everyone,  we are very aware of the things that happened in Bitcoin this 2018, and sadly it wasn't desirable thing that we are expecting, and scammers were also updated they were just looking for some prey to attack.

Re: Is wallet security important to use?
by
Jose Rizal
on 22/12/2018, 14:57:25 UTC
I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.
Learn more please learn how to secure your wallet here: http://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?
Your Knowledge and Ideas will be more helpful if shared.

When it comes to Wallet security, I think the better digital wallet that you should used is protected and legitimately encourage by the government, since with this we can say that anonymity and your personal data is protected by the possible thieves that we may not encounter physically but digitally present and ready to grab any possible opportunity to fool and scam people.

Re: 3 ways of making Money from cryptocurrency
by
Jose Rizal
on 22/12/2018, 14:29:56 UTC
You can earn pretty much on investing into Bitcoin using two “perfect” ways. First, you can try investing into equipment that produces cryptocurrencies (mining). Secondly, you will get your profit simply…waiting —the exchange rate of cryptocurrency is constantly growing. Bitcoin shows very active dynamics.

Well for me, if you are not knowledgeable enough to enter mining and investments better to be informed how to join and performed tasks in Signature campaigns which is very applicable for everyone who are exposed to social media, since projects were given a chance to be endorsed using one's opinion and perspecrive regarding topics involved here in Bitcoin community as well as for the economic side.

Re: What will you do with the current market?
by
Jose Rizal
on 21/12/2018, 18:02:09 UTC

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?

I agree with this, but still we can't do something about it since it was said to be a correction for everyone, what is good at this point is to work further we can say that being dormant is an excuse but what possible we can have for the upcoming time is very nice, better work now and join several signature campaigns and if you think you can afford investing then go for it.

I totally agree with what you are saying. I think there are many people predicting prices without too much knowledge to back it up. That will lead to having a negative impact on the coin itself.

Definitely ,and it is not an useful act for everyone here. Bitcoin is on going for a better state, and people is barely losing their temper, clickbaiting articles and fake news really affect us in the way that whatever news has come to life it will be absorb by the people which we can as not a good thing always since it may cause for sudden lost of determination to work further if the news was all about Bitcoin is now dead thingy.

Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?
by
Jose Rizal

I really hope for the future of bitcoin. For me it is not just a currency. For me, this is a whole digital environment which, in principle, fits into the concept of the Age of Aquarius.I am sure that the future evolution of our civilization will undoubtedly occur with the help of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the next stage of development of humanity

Same with me, I am still and keep motivated here in Bitcoin cause I am aware of the possible opportunities and potentials that I may acquire with exchange to the hardwork that I am giving, and of course we should keep the word optimism which may be also a prevention to stress since the market doesn't seems to be good for everyone but hope remains with us I am very hopeful for that.

Re: Is good seeing higher institutions embracing Cryptocurrency
by
Jose Rizal
on 14/12/2018, 23:42:36 UTC
Am delighted coming across various news and online posters about how higher institutions in different countries of the world now talk about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. They as far as organising symposium, seminars and conferences on cryptocurrency related topics.
This development is a sign that awareness is now been circulated to the younger generation and to me is a good omen and a welcome development towards the establishing a firm standing of cryptocurrency to the world.

That is good of course, but if Bitcoin stays at this low point it is pretty impossible for it to come up with a good investments from businessman who believes in Bitcoin. What I am trying to say is that it is better to involve Bitcoin in a higher entities if and only if Bitcoin can promise assurance since investors were looking forward also for the increase of their initial money that they give in for something unsure.

When Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies first came out, everyone were saying that it was for the people to get their financial freedom. Now, it seems like it's being taken over by big financial institutions. Should we be worried?

Well I think this is a win-win situation for us which both sides were gaining and losing as well it just that corporations by then is having a bigger amount than us who were just a bitcoin hunter in this forum, we can say that in a say that this is made just for the sake of one in those choices and I guess we should see this as a new thing since in this world there's no such thing as fairness when it comes to business.

Re: Did you ever regret having gotten into Bitcoin?
by
Jose Rizal
on 16/11/2018, 14:58:21 UTC
Interesting question, I know. For me personally the answer is no - I have not ever regretted having gotten into bitcoin, despite having spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching the topic.  It's always been an interesting ride.

But I have a friend who got scammed and he regrets having had anything to do with crypto in the first place. It's pretty sad but there's nothing I can do about it. I even offered giving him half of the amount he lost from my own crypto stash (mind you I am not rich) but he's so scared that he's not interested any longer...

Well, personally I dont also regret having gotten here in Bitcoin, It actually makes me aware what do different kinds of peiple who has different kind of perspective towards this kind of community acted upon a scenario which may be similar in what happened to your friend, and it that case, we should be acareful also in spending here not everything in here transacts money some of here steal and scams.

Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin?
by
Jose Rizal
on 05/11/2018, 23:29:25 UTC
A few people thought that Bitcoin investment is intended for just the rich to make the additional reach. That isn't true. Bitcoin can be utilized by either the rich or poor to make benefit. It requires smartness, patience, and less greediness both make a good profit from Bitcoin.

I bet to disagree because at the first place, there is no such specification on which levels if the society is Bitcoin intended to be used. Since, it can be widely accessed by everyone, even the low levels of the society can use it effectively same as how the higher levels use it. Not only the rich people have the capacity to make their own strategies to make profut through investment proper. Also, Bitcoin is not just intended for investment only policy because there are so many ways on how an individual can earn profit from it depending on the preference he have.

Re: Does bitcoin control the market?
by
Jose Rizal
on 01/10/2018, 16:28:21 UTC
Most people believe that the price of altcoins' is determined by the price of bitcoin and that they tend to follow it's market movements.

I partially disagree with this. I have studied prices of coins and tokens on CMC and the fluctuations of each currency seems to be unique and independent of any other digital currency. Some show strong pumps when BTC goes down and some heavy dumps when BTC is rising.

Undoubtedly, there are market forces and factors which affects most currencies, this is not influenced by bitcoins price, it rather controls bitcoins' price as well as others.
So when trading or investing, make sure you treat each currency differently as they have different utilities.
Maybe in some instance, the prices of altcoins may be dependent on either Ethereum or Bitcoin because it was intended to be set into a value equal to those. So when the price sinks or rises, the price value also do. In some instance on the other hand, the uniqueness of the price came as a reaction of the buyers and sellers of the set value based on the movement of Bitcoin or Ethereum to purchase a distint token in the market so both perception are correct depending upon how you interpret it manually. It is just a technicality on comparing different cryptocurrencies.

Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world?
by
Jose Rizal
on 18/09/2018, 15:31:42 UTC
Fiat currencies definitely aren't necessary, there is an increasing trend towards digitization of currency, and blockchain based currencies are just the next generation of this. The problem is that Bitcoin came out, and everybody treated it as the successor to fiat currency, rather than an incremental improvement on digital currencies such as Paypal and Skrill. I think that if Bitcoin was never invented, but somebody like Paypal had implemented a blockchain technology first, then we wouldn't be in the rivalry scenario that we're in now.

I highly disagree with this, the existence of the cryptocurrency is a by product of the the fiat currency, innovation is present but there would be always a reason how does somete sprout somewhere, and we cannot really jump of trading of goods to digital methods, I was actually talking about the process how are we now embracing digitization is also because of the past ways how we do transactions.

Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation
by
Jose Rizal
on 18/09/2018, 15:14:00 UTC
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

This is possible given that Bitcoin is making its own name and its popularity begins to spread independently to the people in anywhere in this world, we can say that government will do something regarding this matter since they will be probably against this platform and even if we dont really know that I think they will push regulatory really that hard , and it actually somewhat good to prevent anomalies.
