Re: Should i buy more Catwifhat after getting free airdrop ?

Why doni't you buy when it was bottommed a few days ago?

https://i.postimg.cc/VLQp7zgN/image.png

It has increased a lot. Don't be so stupid by buying it this time. The whales can dump in your ass. You were expecting airdrop but i think this is kinda different. Your capital may be decrease once the correction will come soon. The better for you wait for the correction to come.

This is gonna be help you a lot. Im sure that anyone is feeling so damn good with this meme pump season but i remind you that things may be changing as soon as they have done with the pump.

Buy when it was at the bottom. Don't be so stupid to bet your money at the top price. It will never be going down for sure. Think about that my friend. Look at WF chart please.

you make a good point, but then again if OP is saying now seems like the best time to buy, then we have to assume he has a good reason for that after doing due diligence. Besides, last I heard, CWIF was getting a bitget cex listing and more often than not, that's a catalyst for additional pumps

There's Something About This New Crop of CEOs...
by
Joseph-P
on 21/05/2024, 22:00:05 UTC
It's been a while since Binance got a new CEO thanks to CZ's departure. I came across a tweet talking about how Binance's online presence hasn't been the same ever since. The tweet talked about the importance of a charismatic Head for any company. Unlike CZ, Mr Teng doesn't seem to have that same type of commanding charisma online. Of course this doesn't affect Binance's order books that much, but in the grand scheme of things, I think it means a lot that folks don't get that same type of vibe anymore.

It's easy to see why Bitget chose to promote Gracy Chen to CEO today or why guys Justin Sun still remain the faces of several top companies. These people are actually quite outspoken online, and know just how to keep users excited about any new innovations in their respective companies. If anything, I guess this instance teaches us about the importance of having an exciting face as the representative of any company.

Re: What's the weirdest compliment you've ever received?

I met an old classmate today, and after hanging out for a while, I said a good joke. Her response was a small laugh accompanied by saying, "You are less annoying than I thought you'd be by now." I genuinely didn't know how to feel about that, and I just mentally noted it down as the weirdest compliment I've received so far in my life. What's yours?

You are distinguishing positive/negative based on your imagination. I'm not that friend of yours so I'm not sure about the intention behind it but you can frankly ask about it with the other person.

In the case that happened to me, there is nothing strange, perhaps I prefer to hear appreciation rather than unrealistic things. Like a teacher once said "you tried but it wasn't enough" Smiley I was really happy when I realized how much it means to have satisfaction and gratitude from these messages through language communication. Anyway, sometimes it can be doubtful to distinguish things that we imagine in different directions, but perhaps we should also go back and live fully with the things going on around us without clinging to something that someone offers.
Well to be honest, saying "you tried but it wasn't enough" is pretty far from weird. It's intact a way of motivating you to do better so credit to your teacher there. My post here however, is referring to those kinda compliments that you didn't know whether to interpret as either positive or negative. The ones that just fall in-between.

I Need Good Recommendations For Dexs On Solana
by
Joseph-P
on 16/05/2024, 14:09:12 UTC
Hi folks! Based on your trading experience, what other good dexs are there on Solana?

I've been using Raydium ever since I first started transacting in Sol chain and I'm looking to explore some new options. Raydium has served me well, but I'm curious to hear about other quality decentralized exchanges on the Solana network that you've had success with. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I aim to diversify my DeFi activities. I'm open to exchanges with unique features, competitive trading fees, and strong liquidity. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Exciting Giveaway Event I Just Found
by
Joseph-P
on 08/05/2024, 09:54:48 UTC
I noticed an increase in posts requesting for giveaway events in the past week, perhaps due to the market dip that affected many people and caused significant losses. Or it could be the result of the current FOMO surrounding cryptocurrency airdrops. Regardless of the reason, I recently came across a simple event that shouldn't require too much effort to participate in. After creating an account and going through the verification process, all you need to do is increase your VIP level to qualify for a share in a $65k USDT reward pool. You can upgrade your VIP level through various methods, such as trading or holding additional $BGB tokens. It's a straightforward and easy process.

What did you think about the future of dogecoin?
Is it going to do well in the future?
The reason why I'm saying this is because I'm holding dogecoin, did you think I should keep holding it?

I hold the token in spot too, and I trade it on Bitget futures. To answer your question, I hundred percent believe it'll end up outperforming most of the "new-age" memecoins. Just patience and careful, strategic trading is all that's needed on our part I think.

Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything
by
Joseph-P
on 29/04/2024, 21:54:09 UTC
Well I do think there is so many meme coins now. That there is good chance that most of them will turn into nothing but shitcoins.
But I am interested when a major token does a meme coin. Solana meme coins are big interest for people and new meme coin called Slothana.
And there is some people already who is making millions trading it. https://crypto.news/traders-think-slothana-could-be-the-next-big-solana-meme-coin/

It's insane. People are wasting money into worthless tokens that are only driven by hype. What real use cases does a "meme" coin provide? Nothing. It seems like Solana will become the #1 chain for this kind of garbage. It's the only thing that's been "pumping" SOL's market price (besides the sale of the Saga smartphone). I wonder how low will Solana go once the "meme" coins hype comes to an end?

Instead of focusing on "meme" coins, people should pay more attention to serious cryptocurrency projects. I'm talking about Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the likes. You're more likely to build generational wealth with BTC and ETH, than any of the "meme" coins listed across mainstream crypto exchanges. Considering that "meme" coins are a passing trend, expect 99% of them to die in the future. Only Dogecoin will survive because it's the oldest "meme" coin in existence. Crypto land behaves in many strange and bizarre ways, so expect the unexpected. Grin
First of all, I wouldn't call it a "waste" since its their money and they are free to spend it the way they deem fit. But that aside, this is part of the features of a bull market and we have to get used to it. I myself don't believe its smart, but some people are truly printing millions through this means, so who are we to judge?

Re: The rate of abandoned projects on solana
by

on 29/04/2024, 21:47:54 UTC
From my research I found out that Solana is referred to as high-speed blockchain network, but recently, from my experience it has been for entirely different reason, the network has being at the heart of an unprecedented meme coin frenzy.
Several meme coin projects I bought on Solana has rugged me my hard earn money and a lot of projects are succumbing to rug investors and crypto lovers.
Yet Solana Blockchain network is paying insipid attention to it or no process of verifying a real project before launch. They give room for every one to launch on their network where by bringing fake or scam projects onboard. And I begin to think otherwise, if they really don't know about all this scam projects.
I stand to be edify as I'll be looking out for your opinion in this thought.!

Yeah we all wanted decentralisation so this is pretty much what it entails. While I do agree with you that it's not the best we could have hoped for, fact still remains that it is better than having only centralised structures and systems all around us

Re: How much interest do you earn from your USDT?
by
Joseph-P
on 22/04/2024, 19:49:30 UTC
Well asking this question cos I wanted to see how many of you do stake your USDT. I have seen my friends earning lots of interest from their USDT holdings. So I also wanted to stake some USDT to earn some interest since it's sitting on my wallet doing nothing. I checked a few cexs that offer USDT saving option or other options that offer interests.

So I was seeing that Binance offering 2.85% APR on their flexible staking product, which translates to roughly $0.0781 daily for a 1k USDT stake. But some other exchanges like Bitget and Bybit offer tiered flexible staking rates that can potentially yield higher returns. For example, Bitget offers rates ranging from 3.70% to 8.70% APR depending on the staked amount and with 1K staked, it's like 0.169$ daily, and Bybit offers a flat rate of 2.13% to 7.12% APR also depending on staked amount, so with 1K staked, it's like 0.126 USDT daily.

Now I want to know what's gonna be best. I know Binance has lower interest but i'm still torn between these. So I wanna know y'all thoughts.
Look it's very bullish that you will stake your 1000$ for just about 0.7$ cents. Why? Go get some valuable skills  and take it as an initial investment to earn and run a handsome amount of income from a business model.

If you're more interested in trading than you should get a research about some good coins and invest in them according to proper signals and techniques. I'm damn sure that if you invest in some good projects you'll make a lot more profits than what you'll get on staking and holding.
Well said, theres also the option of joining some events that pay higher for lesser amounts than that. The same bitget run a South Asian campaign for users who subscribe to their savings flexible products with around $200 USDT. The reward there much greater than $0.7 cents lol

Re: Is User Base the Biggest Factor in CEXs Growth?
by
Joseph-P
on 21/04/2024, 14:05:42 UTC

What other factors can propel a CEX growth?

I will never believe in such reports as CEX in the past are know to use bots to increase volume. The most important factor will always be security as it has been a concern with CEX. Although there have hacks in CEX in the past the current environment with such issue is stable as we haven't heard of any hacks for quite sometime now.
It's easy to validate these type of accusations about fake bot trading activities when there's no corresponding growth for the cex. But in the case of bitget for instance, I think they shown growth in all areas. From Twitter followers, to daily volume, I've followed their progress and seen impressive statistical increases across board

Re: What's in For Altcoins after the Halving?
by
Joseph-P
on 21/04/2024, 12:32:47 UTC
It has been a good ride for Bitcoin before then halving and now that it is done with, the momentum seems to have gone down, and as we all know, after the Bitcoin Rally, altcoins react to it. Do you think the rally of altcoins will start now or we should continue with our trades like nothing happened?
I personally think it'll be a while before we see any real impact of the halving on altcoins. What I'm sure of though, is that when that happens, the first set of beneficiaries will be solid alts like BNB, ETH, BGB, SOL, and the likes. GameFi will also be positively affected and other ecosystems too eventually

Re: Is investing in exchange tokens profitable?
by
Joseph-P
on 11/04/2024, 01:52:21 UTC
Although there are other exchange tokens that are also performing well but this three looks the best investment option looking at their respective ecosystem growth hence I feel they are good investment option with growth potential but I will like to hear your opinions. Do you HODL any of this tokens and what are your price expectation ahead of the upcoming bullrun.

When we are discussing about investment, I don’t look at them as a single entity base on where they originate from but see it as a general term for all cryptocurrencies. Just like any other crypto asset that are not native token of exchanges, they experience volatility and they can either go up or down in prices base on what the market is reacting to. Exchange tokens are not bad tokens even though they are all altcoins in general, but investing in them should be at the risk of the exchange not collapsing or having a negative news been attached to it. The can easily react to news that talks about the exchange either a positive or a negative one.

If I am to invest in an exchange token, it will always be that I take profit timely because of how volatile they are and does not only obey the market trends alone but also other external factors can easily affect it and crash to a very low level unexpectedly. To be safe with them, try and take profits when you see one and be conversant with news surrounding those exchanges, both good and bad news because that is what will give you an insight of when to stay in the market longer or leave the market immediately to avoid loss of funds as a result of those news.

You have a solid take here, good one. Cex tokens indeed get affected by a lot of external factors, making them slightly more troublesome to deal with especially in long term trading. But on the bright side, they can be real goldmines when the particular cex they're associated with is consistently performing well and getting great customer reviews. I'm guessing that's part of the reasons why $BGB has been healthy recently.  The project's overall performance has brought more attention and thus more investors into their ecosystem.

Boring Market Right Now. What You Got?
by
Joseph-P
on 05/04/2024, 09:16:45 UTC

The market seems pretty volatile now for the first time in a while as BTC and ETH struggle to find stable price footing. Lucky for me, I got out before it all started but right now I've gotta admit that it feels a little boring just sitting on the sidelines and not making any real moves. That said, I still have good reason not to delve back into the open market just yet. Instead, I want to try something else in the meantime. Anything else. I'd appreciate suggestions on open lucrative staking options you know, contests, and maybe competitions (that don't involve trading).

Re: Any upcoming gems like Celestia?
by
Joseph-P
on 21/03/2024, 04:27:12 UTC
Hey everyone, haven't posted here in a long long time. As I've been looking at the rising crypto markets lately, I started looking for some new promising projects to invest in. And since I am doing my own research now, I've also decided to ask around for opinions here as bitcointalk usually has a great amount of super knowledgeable users.

My whole investing strategy for the previous bull cycles was always pretty dumb simple and straightforward - I buy an alt on an exhcange, hold it for a year or two and sell at OR near the top. I got really lucky in 2017 with buying Verge (XVG) and in 2019 with buying Telcoin (TEL), sold it couple years later for huge gains. And that's pretty much all I did in crypto. Of course I had my fair share of poor decisions too, but they were always offset by big gains made from "lucky" crypto picks.

I've never involved myself in defi/staking/airdrops etc etc. but now as I look at how crypto has evolved, I am trying to broaden my horizons and not just buy and hold a shitcoin hoping it will 100x.

So anyway, at the end of 2023 I've come across a great project called Celestia (TIA). I've been watching its price action for months, researching it and came to the conclusion that it ticks almost all the boxes I'm looking for:

1. It got listed like 4 months ago and already 10x-ed in price
2. As far as I've understood, you can stake it to be eligible for Celestia native airdrops as well as airdrops in upcoming projects like Eigenlayer, Stride, Pryzm, LightLink, Plume etc etc etc, essentially making TIA a golden goose for airdrop staking/farming.

Now, I don't think I'm gonna buy TIA now as it's value has gone through the roof with its current MC over 3B. My question, what new crypto projects would you recommend to buy in the coming months to get something similar to TIA? So basically, a) fresh/new technology, great fundamentals b) market cap not too big (FDV is another story) c) can be used to potentially qualify you for new airdrops, etc?

At this point, I am looking at projects like Starknet, Polyhedra, Blast, Taiko, Eigenlayer, Wormhole, Mode, Drift Protocol, zkSync. Your thoughts? Sorry for the wall of text lol..

TIA is actually going through a retracment rn, so I think you can actually position for that if your technical analysis skill is sharp. As for others like Polyhedra, I just saw a launchpool opportunity for it on one of the biggest cex where you can stake either BGB or USDT to get some $ZK. You may check it out, cos their launchpool history is very good..
https://twitter.com/bitgetglobal/status/1770030708750455005?t=jWPFfS5sOGE9xyFMSXz5Eg&s=19
Yeah, saw some info about the launchpool. Gotta say, 200,000 ZK pool is no joke and it helps that all a user's got to do is just deposit a few BGB. Think the period is 19th-29th March. This seems like one that's gonna fill up pretty quickly.

What's next in the memecoin cycle?
by
Joseph-P
on 20/03/2024, 07:50:43 UTC
There's much discussion surrounding the current memecoin season. We've witnessed all the usual aspects of a crypto memecoin season: from speculative trading to numerous project launches and presales, along with a flurry of airdrops. Presently, speculative trading and presales are at the forefront. While airdrops like JUP and Wen have come and gone. We’ve even seen bigger projects like bitget introduce their own airdrop/ rewards programs with prizes for various activities such as registration, spot trading, and completing futures trading tasks.

At this point, we've experienced a wide range of events so far and comparing the current scenario to what I recall from the bullish market of 2021, it seems like we have encountered all that a memecoin cycle can offer. Consequently, I anticipate a direct transition to altcoin season. Any thoughts on this prediction? Or how much longer do you think this will last?

What makes a narrative gain wider adoption?
by
Joseph-P
on 18/03/2024, 15:19:45 UTC
What makes a narrative become more adopted? Is it just marketing or usecase? Over the years I've seen some absurd narratives take center stage and other useful ones remain largely unknown to most of the crypto space. Take for instance liquid staking. It has gained more popularity over the past year or so. But I'm still yet to see it as mainstream as it should be, considering it's many pros. So far, it is only been widely used by top centralised exchanges with only a handful of smaller projects like EtherFi having the feature on their platforms.

I wouldn't want to go into other narratives that get attention when, based on what usecases they actually provide, really shouldn't. This is because I dont want to be creating any kind of FUD. But I'm curious about what you would say actually makes a narrative get more mainstream attention.

Re: What do big time traders or investors do for fun while waiting?
by
Joseph-P
on 17/03/2024, 10:26:38 UTC
I was just wondering what the life of full time trader or merchant trader or big whale investor would look like, and one question that seem to strike my curiosity is, what do big time traders or merchants or whale investors do for fun?
What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?

I would appreciate the comments from active traders more because it would give a proper insight on how it would look like if I finally make my way into the trading or the investing world and just need to keep focus.
I got the opportunity to sit at dinner with a huge trader/influencer on X recently. Asked him this same question and I was surprised to hear that all of his hobbies revolve around the web3. As long as he's at home or in the office, he's either trading, searching for new potential big name NFTs to buy or looking for staking options and events to work his spare funds. Told me about how he recently made a ton of money contributing liquidity to a recent listing on bitget. Apparently, that's smtn most of us small time crypto traders are sleeping on.

I keep eyes on market specially now everybody want to know what btc will do next.
There is also theories that 70k-75k price range btc will fall hard back to 30-40k , it seems for now impossible.
On this thread i start reporting my analyse daily i hope it helps Smiley
Btc today now price 69k-70k there fight with bulls and bears and WHALE activity what i see that whales are loading bags full now.
Off course many traders will sell to take profit now and many will fear and many will Open short positions but shorts will be liqutated the long orders power its stronger until next btc price target 75k +
I see btc price Will be in 1-2 days 73-75k easy.
I just bought btc eth and some altcoins right now the 69k price range strong support zone for btc.

Last update of info:  Whales shake off Market the actual base level is 66-67k for btc but whales like to take it down and then it up and and again down just to play with it and confuse traders.
But If btc price 60k-70k price range it's good price to buy

We're currently in a huge dip, no doubt. Opened bitget today to set new buy orders at 69k. Saw an influencer on X say we could hit that mark before plunging deep down to around 30k as you mention. If that happens, then I might as well just give up on trading myself and finally try Copy Trading those influencers on bitget.

👉how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling?  Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?
I genuinely do feel bad about it each time I lose a gamble (usually on cryptocurrencies). But then I think- "it's all part of the game" and I instantly feel better again, HA!
