I don't see any problems with KYC especially when you are asked because you're investing to them. I think it was due to the regulation of SEC to protect the people investing on the project. The problem is finding a good site that would handle those documents safely. Right now, there are many upcoming projects that would deal the application of KYC on ICO projects we are interested to participate with one of them is menlo.one.

For me I think its the project is widely accepted by the community, I'm following the feedback of the people about the certain ICO i'm looking to invest. If I see a good response from people then it would likely to succeed, also I'm looking the use-case of the project if it the product would click to investors, right now I'm looking to invest on VTOS, OPP, and menlo.one.

In my opinion EOT Protocol (Entertainment Open Network Protocol) looks quite promising. I like that they have strong team, detailed whitepaper and very serious partners.

I've been hearing a lot of EOT but seeing their whitepaper I'm not convinced to invest in them. I'm comparing these three ICO's right now, (VTOS, OPP, and Menlo) their concept is very promising and might wan't to invest on one of them once I'm done with my research.

Well, it is so difficult to answer this question now. It has changed since January, even the good projects are not worth for investing. It was easy to make profit before, not now!

Well it still depends what project you'll be investing your money with. I suggest to look and research about menlo.one a platform that will be a game changer, if they became successful we would be seeing less fake ICO's being promoted everywhere. There point is to remove fake ICO's by implementing a guild system of experts and professional within crypto technology.

Whew, that's a huge minimum investment for an ICO. Well that's a red flag for me. I suggest to research and investigate more about that project or else you'll be kissing your money goodbye. Try researching about other hot ICO's right now like ETheal, menlo.one, or Elysian.

You are correct, there are lots of ICO offering every month but only few of them have the capabilities to succeed. I think most of them are just scam and the tricky part is distinguish the real one from those fake ICO project. So goodluck, as for me I always tried to stay away from them.

LOL. Is this a bait?   Cheesy

The thread is like indirectly asking for merit. The story though is good, but I think the intention was just the opposite. NICE TRY, @ OP.

Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service

Its been a long time since I visited this thread and I'm not seeing much of a support from paybear's team. Don't know but they seem inactive on Bitcointalk.

I haven't really noticed them actively answering questions here on Bitcointalk.. would have been awesome  Roll Eyes I can see that they are pretty active in telegram though.

Yeah, All queries should be directed to their telegram group because they don't focus on ICO right now. What can I see from their telegram group is merchants asking for help integrating their API. Maybe when they launch their token, some of the admins will be active here.

So when this launch will be? Their website don't have any tentative date for their token launch. I hope it'll be soon enough as people here don't get any answers from their questions about paybear's service.

OP what do you mean by "gray" mining? Haven't heard much of it.

@Dasha88fed, I think most of the cloud mining services are just ponzi scheme. You'd rather buy your own rig than to invest it on these types of schemes.

Well I'm in doubt with its "the lowest in industry" slogan since the FAQ on their website indicates this and they are still on the BETA phase.

If they would be true with their promise then paybear would became successful like any other services right now in the market.

Re: How to convert bitcoin to fiat cash (hard paper) if I dont have bank account ?
by
Jrein23
on 09/02/2018, 05:17:46 UTC
The main road you must create account first, because bitcoin can only be exchanged through bank, from wallet coin to exchange, after exchanged then sent to your account.
Or you are exchanged through your close friend who has a bank account.

Where have you been hiding dude? You can exchange your Crypto into Fiat with or without Bank.

Yes, its currently used as a good option for remittance right now. Cutting the waiting period to half, I prefer to send BTC/Alts rather than sending FIAT because its more faster.

Re: Coinbase to bring cryptocurrency to Wall Street
by

on 26/01/2018, 12:21:10 UTC
It`s looks like a promising partnership, but that doesn`t mean that cryptocurrency trading will be accepted by Wall Street. You title is a bit misleading,OP.Bringing more institutional investors into the cryptocurrency market will make the crypto prices to skyrocket, but i`m not so sure that the US authorities will allow more institutional investors to diversify their portfolios with cryptocurrencies.

It is possible but for sure their will be more regulations that will be implemented. If coinbase reached the wallstreet, it would be good and bad. Good because the price will skyrocket, Bad because we will see more a lot of manipulations.

Re: what's the best altcoin?

To select the best coin to invest in, I see that NEO is currently the most potential crypto because behind this coin is a large business from China. Regardless of the previous time, when the exchange rate of the market down simultaneously, the NEO is still rising and falling negligibly, which is why you should invest in NEO at this time.

I heard all of the exchanges in China were banned by their government except for NEO. So do you think NEO is backed or managed by China itself? All of the other exchanges/ICO were to shutdown but not NEO.

It depends on the time horizon that how long you have the capacity to hold a coin.A new coin deeponion show its potential in last two weeks and slowly going to moon. because the team working behind is very active and making huge development.

Yeah, the team behind a crypto should always be active to make the project successful. I have been hearing about this DeepOnion and it seem they are doing very well.

Re: what's the best altcoin?

Anyone give a suggestion on what's the best coin?

There are a lot of options, but I think Ethereum is maybe one of the best coins right now, just because its tech is the best nowadays and I’m sure, its price will reach the sky this year.

But if you’re looking for quick profits, maybe the best choice are another altcoins as  Dogecoin, Clamcoin, Stellar… the last one, for instance, is really cheap and has been mentioned for the experts as one of the bets investments if what you want is a great profit. Also this is easy to change stellar to dollar or euro, so it is becoming one of the best choices for beginners who doesn’t have much money.

So, when you say the best coin, leave me thinking... The coin with the best features, the coin with the best fees, the coin with the fastest confirmation, the coin with best profit on the market... what does make them the best? Becaise if we say, the best is the one with the highest price, then bitcoin will be always the best.

I think he is referring the best coin in terms of technology and affordable. So the best option would be ETH and Ripple, (but I won't rely to much in Ripple as we know it is being owned and governed by banks.
