GPU + Alimentatore + HD + Risers li ho presi su Amazon.it

Cmq uso questi settaggi:

cgminer --scrypt -o *** -u *** -p *** --thread-concurrency 8192 --intensity 13 --worksize 256 -g 2

Stabili a:

Smiley

Mining Rig -> GPU + Riser problem, help needed!

Hello to everyone!

First of all, I'm a noob in Mining and such, so I'm sorry if I'm asking something obvious for you.

That sayd, I've some problems with my mining rig, here my setup:

MB: Asrock 970 Extreme4
CPU: Sempron 145
PSU: Corsair AX860 Platinum
RAM: Gskill 1x4Gb 1333Mhz
SSD: Kingston 60Gb
GPU: 3x Sapphire R9 280x OC Dual-X 3GbGDDR5
Riser: 3x Powered Risers 1x-16x

I tested all the 3 cards and all the 3 risers in every combination, and all of the items are working good at 700-750 KH/s.

My problem is the following:

The PCIE4 slot, the 16x in the middle of the MB, is not recognizing any card if I use them with any of the risers -> D6 error on the Dr.Debug led on the MB, that is: "No console output devices are found".

I tested the same slot, the PCIE4 slot, plugging in any of the cards directly, without risers, and it recognizes them normally.
I also tested the 3 16x slots together, plugging all of the cards directly in, without the risers, and all of 3 works fine.
I tested the other 2 16x slots of the MB with risers, and they recognize the cards normally.

So, why that single slot isn't recognizing the 1x-16x risers? Should I need to buy a 16x-16x for that slot? There's a way to fix it somehow?

And also, I've encountered another probem trying to avoid using that 16x slot, here the configurations I've tried so far:

Config A:
GPU 0 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 16x slot --> 700Kh/s
GPU 1 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 16x slot --> 700KH/s
GPU 2 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 1x slot --> 100KH/s

Config B:
GPU 2 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 1x slot --> 700KH/s
GPU 1 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 1x slot --> 700KH/s
GPU 0 -> Riser plugged in PCIE 16x slot --> 100KH/s

So, with both those configurations, all of the 3 cards are correctly recognized with the risers.
BUT, in both cases, the single card that has a different PCIE Interface compared to the other 2 cards (GPU 2 in config A & GPU 0 in config B) is having a really low hash rate for some reasons.

Why?
I think this could be a setup problem and I hope that you could help me fixing it.

Thank you in advance to anyone that will try to help me out.

Jsnow

is minar.cc pool working?

My unconfirmed balance is always 0 since the last 2 hours but we're finding a lot of blocks...it's a bug or?

The pool is fine, it will just need to catch up. Over 12,000 blocks were solved over 12 hours so things on the server are a little backed up.  Be patient you will get your coins!

I hope so.

The estimates values looks fine but the round shares are not good cause they're just stacking up block after block..so I hope they could solve it and give us the coins of the last few hours..

Re: [PRE ANN] HashShares[HAS] Scrypt PoW with Bitcoin PoS
by

Mmm.

First of all, you say no premine, but you also say 50k HAS are for the dev team and 50k HAS are for bounties ecc, so 100k from the genesis block are actually absolutely a premine.
If you want to have a bit of credibility you absolutely need to change this part in the Q&A and admit it.

Apart from that, you also need to explain a bit more the entire process especially those 2 points:

1 HAS = ?? Haspower
1 BTC donated = ?? HAS

Because, if we look at what you've wrote:

Q. How is this possible?
A. We have aquired 6000GH/s in the form of 2 KnC Neptune miners from the first batch. 50% of the Bitcoins generated the previous day will be paid out directly as Proof of Stake at 00:00 GMT the following day.

Q. What will happen to the other 50%?
A. 10% will be used for electricty, maintenance, internet connection and storage, the other 40% will be deposited into the HashFund.

Q. How will the Genesis blocks 500000HAS be divided.
A. 50000HAS is for the developers, another 50000HAS is for various bountys, promotions, giveaway threads and similar.
The rest(400k) will be divided among the development donators based on their percentage of total Bitcoins donated.

You wrote you're going to pay out just 50% of the BTC generated by the 2 KnC Neptunes, so basically you're "selling" the hashpower from just 1 of the 2 KnC, while keeping the second one for yourself (10% bills and 40% funds).

So, translated, you're selling 3000 Gh/s of power to the investors.
If this power is divided among all of the 500k HAS of the genesis block equally, 1 HAS would be equal to 0.006 Gh/s.
At the current price on CEX.io 0.006 Gh/s = 0.00026813 BTC

So:
1 HAS = 0.006 GH/s ---> 1 HAS = 0.00026813 BTC ??

Assuming this is correct, to sell out 400k HAS you are asking for 107.252 BTC.

So, actually, at those rates, you would take 107.252 BTC for 80% (400K HAS) of 1 KnC miner =  85,801.6 $ (at a rate of 800$/BTC).

... LoL ...
