Im holding a few bags that I want to dump like I'm sure many other people are. Its the same as any other time really, if it feels like the right time to sell than you should sell. Keep an eye on the general trend and when momentum slows down sell and rebuy. Thats my plan anyway.

It starts with the private and presale investors who got a lower price and/or bonuses who are making a profit when it is first listed, then inexperienced investors sell because they font want to lose their money. Its a bear market, there is low buying volume for all projects and it makes sense that there are not many buyers buying after ICO hits exchanges. The best thing people can do is wait until the bull market returns and hold their tokens.

But it's centralized...

Its kind of centralized at the minute yes but its not a finished product and has no intention of being centralized in the future. This is actually a positive for NEO because it gives them creative freedom to develop the project in their own vision without needing to reach consensus with developers and miners like ETH does. ETH would already have a scaling solution if it were less decentralized for example...

XRP's days are number in my honest opinion. They are too many dark clouds and question marks over the project and how useful it is as an actual token. XLM is a far superior coin to be honest

The sad truth is that a lot of the projects offering bounty campaigns are doing so because their project sucks. Yes there are some decent ones and most of them are ran by good managers such as Amazix or g0blin.
However, many projects will never go anywhere and they want you to work to promote them and pay in their own token because it costs them nothing.
Quality is better than quantity, one or two good projects are better than many bad ones and you need to do your research exactly the same as if you were investing your own money.

Its a good question to ask. I have seen people who are much more knowledgeable than me say that the stock markets are overextended and on the verge of a recession similar to the crash of 2008 and it makes me wonder what the big money will do with their investment when the time comes.

I really think that they will look for a hedge, somewhere to put their money to keep it safe. An obvious place will be gold and silver but if new methods are developed for institutional investment, such as a bitcoin or ETH ETF, I can see a lot of money moving into this space as well.

A global financial crash could be great for the crypto space as a whole.

That's a great outlook to have at the moment. Its sad to see some people who have lost a lot of their investment who may have depended on the money who are now struggling and cashing out their investments at a fraction of what they could be.

I've seen a lot of people in this space who are in a worse financial position than me who legitimately see bounty campaigns as a main source of income.

When the market recovers people who have stuck in will see the benefits. It can't be much longer until we see some upside.

NEO is better in almost all regards. Both are currently quite centralised but NEO has recently released a statement that they are ready to increase the number of nodes on the network, meaning it will be more decentralized in the near future. Although many people think centralization is a bad thing, and it may well be, it has actually worked in NEO's favour so far and has allowed them to control the development of the project and progress at a much faster rate than competitors like Ethereum.

Its hard to tell really, both projects will likely have progressed significantly in the next 5 years. As it stands currently I think NEO will have the edge due to superios speeds and scalability, but if Ethereum can actually get people to agree on scaling solutions and push one forward then they can likely keep hold of their lead.

I think no matter what happens, both blockchains will have significantly increased use cases and if the market cap rises like people think it will, both could have huge market caps.

The people who are quitting and selling up at these low levels are the same people who will buy back in when crypto market hits new highs. The catalyst will be institutional investment and when that comes, prices will begin to rise and all the weak hands will return. Stay strong and stay in and you will feel the benefit in the long term.

Everything seems to be positive at the minute without a whiff of fud in sight yet the market is still stagnating. In my opinion, we have come to a nice level point in the market that we can build from for the rest of the year. Its all well and good us holding our crypto, but it's new money that will push up demand and bring in more investors in turn. It's just a waiting game at the minute but hopefully a Bitcoin ETF will be enabled soon and that will really change the game.

I completely agree with you. the difficult part for me is that i'm still holding on to some coins that i don't really believe in anymore and also a few airdropped tokens that i want to get rid of, but because the market has been in recession for so long, I'm just holding and holding for the time being. It should pay off in the end though as next bull run will be my opportunity to move some cash around a bit.
