Re: what is your plan?
by
Junglee
on 10/04/2018, 13:40:27 UTC
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.
I like how everyone just assumes there is going to be a breakout and the thought of a stagnant price not being a possibility. It seems like a large group of this subreddit expects that the price should and will be rising by thousands per month. I'm convinced that most people here know very little about how any of this works and likely bought in months ago while the price was higher.

How many times has it been now during this drawn out downward spiral where, we see a brief upswing, and everyone comes out of hiding saying "we've hit bottom! 6900 has major support!!!11!. If it breaks through though, it will hit even large support at 6400. If it breaks through 7k then it will continue up until 11k." ? People are really pulling this all out of their ass.

Re: Do you think this year will be Red?

on 10/04/2018, 13:33:19 UTC

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

I am with you. I can feel it. It is like the spring is tightening. How tight can it get? I have felt this before. It is like déjà vu. Maybe being involved since 2013 has taught me something? Not sure. Just hodl- I have learned that at least. Wink
woah holder since 2013 and you are feeling it thats gotta to be a good sign. I started May 2017 and went through two corrections and this current one being the third. There was always a point in the first two corrections where it was clear the bottom was in and then it was just like boring for two weeks or something. Perhaps This time its just cause the scale of the price has gotten insane and needed more time to digest

Re: All Alt Coins are a scam.

Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!
Nobody is in it just for the tech. In fact, despite their claims, most don't really understand the tech beyond a few misguided regurgitations of clueless summaries. They just say that because it makes them feel a little better even as the thing is going to the dogs. Much better to say "I don't care; I'm in it for the tech" than to say "I'm a dummy, and I'm getting fucked".

Dear all member
We are seeing the rise of the cryptocurrency market, the decline is over??  Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
Bitcoin doesn't like short time preference consumers. If you want profits now, I want to have cheap fees now when I pay with BTC, any action with a short time horizon will not get rewarded from Bitcoin and its monetary policy. It's only meant for patient people and the more patient the people are the more they get rewarded.

Re: YOU CAN DO IT
by
Junglee
on 10/04/2018, 13:21:03 UTC
The phrase "Can do it" is an attitude for every bounty hunter. A positive thinking attitude.
- I have seen many bounty hunters get discouraged as a result of not being paid after participating in some bounties.
Even if you feel the payment is not forthcoming, you CAN DO IT, because there are still good bounty campaigns.
- There are some who get discouraged because the rank they are might be low.
Rome was not built in a day, you CAN DO IT. With patience, you can still take ride to the top.
No matter what you might be facing at this time, no matter how tough the work might be, no matter how little the reward seems to be, do not relent, do not go weary "YOU CAN DO IT."

How do you profit from the tech? I could see how an investment in a venture capital company using Blockchain could do well, but with Bitcoin you are simply another user, which is very different.
If it makes you feel any better most of these people will never get their money or bitcoin out of the exchange. They will realize that the tech doesn’t mean shit if someone else is holding the keys to your fortune. When this thing starts imploding good luck moving money out. I would make that a priority at this point.

i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

update: stoppp ittt. i didn't buy Sad
Also price movements are almost 100% correlated with longs/short increasing on finex. that dump earlier today from 6.8k today to 6.6k is identical to the amounts of shorts increased on bitfinex in that exact time period. dont get fooled people - nobody is selling anymore - only people shorting who at some point have to buy back in their positions
Please stop buy!!

Re: HODL or REGRET!!!
by
Junglee
on 10/04/2018, 13:05:12 UTC
I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
Pay attention, because you are about to learn something that the fleeced sheeple never understand.

In any bubble, who really makes the money and who ends up holding the bag. 2008 was a big one. Who went laughing to the bank, and who got a proper pole in the rear end? Now, in this bitcoin bubble, which side is Soros on and which side are the dim redditors on?

Try to use your head. Don't just start jerking off with "George Soros is in, so this is a great sure thing!". Have you heard what the man really thinks of bitcoin, but which apparently won't stop him from making money off the fools?

I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?
ok it doesn't have to hit 100k ., but passing ATH's is a great place to start.

The world hasn't moved on, its just getting started and the ATH was the mainstream breakthrough. Now we are in the digestion phase but soon the Bitcoin Monster will be hungry again for eating Fiat and the next rise will occur. Then he will take another big ass dump. Then he will eat again and eventually the market will be at more stable prices.

If they wanted to Forget about you then Why is CNBC doing Segments every night about Bitcoin on Fast Money? Why do they show the price of Bitcoin throughout the show? Why has Brian Kelly publicly stated he's All In. Why are newspapers and other biz magazines starting to quote the bitcoin price in the Finance sections?

Re: Altcoin trading signals
by
Junglee
on 05/04/2018, 05:56:58 UTC
Hello guys, I'm a new trader.I can't read Trade signals. So how to get Altcoin trading signals and altcoin news ?? which site/group/telegram channels best for info...??
BITCOIN RECOGNITION - Past - Present - Future

1. Past: elliot waves grow

- Bitcoin's growth rate will be from late March 2017. Why do you choose this timeline? Not so far, because looking at the BTC chart in recent years, this is the time Bitcoin broke the Bollinger Band to start the first wave after a long sideways.
- Based on the BB 1W chart, we can see that the BTC is bullish with the eliot pattern. The 2 and 4 corrective waves are supported by the BB.
- The two conditions to end this bull market are when the eliot wave 5 goes through, and the price breaks the bullish pattern of the BB. These two conditions are achieved when the price of BTC to 19k, far beyond the range BB should be forced to adjust.
- For one person only trade is BTC, this stage is a very nice time to bolt BTC on USDT. But if everyone thinks so, sharks spend a lot of money to pump up BTC prices but without the bargain, will be the most losses. At this point the Altcoin guise is brought to use.
- When the BTC increased strongly and continuously for a long time, most Altcoin were bottom. After injecting BTC to the top and continue to pump Altcoin very strong, most traders are not alert enough to resist the attraction from Altcoin. In this stage, if anyone is holding the BTC will buy all Altcoin, if the USDT is willing to buy high price BTC to Altcoin for profit from the growth of Altcoin too attractive to ignore BTC is discounted, plus mind After all, the BTC should increase as much as possible. As a result, unless one buys the bottom price and chooses one of the few Altcoin x10 or higher and sells it right then it is profitable, the rest if Altcoin increases x3 and BTC from 18k to 6k then mix in USDT , when Altcoin returned to the old bottom, the official divided three properties. According to our observation, most traders fall into this case because they expect a strong Altcoin season as last year. Unfortunately, the shark's traps have been prepared for a long time

2. Current: Adjusted elliot waves

- Next I will analyze the down trend of BTC. When BB breaks the BB, the tendency to adjust the center of BB 1W is as strong as 2 waves 2 & 4 before. And obviously when the BTC price of 9k has a very strong rebound to nearly 12k. Here, BTC has a chance to finish the adjustment with the sideways condition on 9k for several months. But this opportunity quickly disappeared when the BTC fell sharply region with a series of FUB news of the financial market world. BTC penetrated the BB road and only stopped when the price hit 2W support.
- Talk about BB 1W center of the BTC, this is an extremely important line, the same EMA 160 has supported the price of BTC in 2 years never break. When this road was bad signal signal bad for BTC within 3 years back here.
Looking at the current price of the BTC, we see that Eliot's 5-wave cycle is nearing completion, and BW's 2W support continues to be a strong resistance when the BTC has tested four times but has not yet penetrated. But looking at the weakening force every time I touch this line, I personally do not think it will last long. Very strong BTC will break this support in the near future and bottom BB 1W 5k price range. When prices hit this region, there will be a strong rebound to the 10k-11k band as this is an extremely important support for the BTC price trend. If the price breaks this area, you forget about BTC and go back a few years later

3. Future: Downtrend exit conditions

- To exit Downtrend BTC is required to over 12k. It crossed the road between BB 1W and the sideways here for two months to allow enough time for BB to tighten, then BTC is eligible to start another growth cycle. If this is the case, then this is a pretty good time for Altcoin, as Dominance BTC will go down and switch to Altcoin. The story of BTC at this time will not be a few thousand or tens of thousands that the ability will be in the hundreds of thousands.

Conclusion: I do not know the price of BTC will follow the trend, only the support, resistance and conditions. Any further increase or decrease required BTC to meet these conditions. Personally, I have a lot of confidence that BTC will not stop with the 20k peak, but in the financial market, risk management is always the most important. Because usually they will lose the most pain because of their beliefs.

Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth?
by

on 27/03/2018, 09:11:58 UTC
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?
no bad news, no fud, just a sea of boredom, but people still sells and sells like idiots.
The buying at this price is actually of idiots xD The sellings are not of idiots if it's for a second run giving a second chance to a larger audience before actually taking off and last longer lmao Do you even realize what happened if BTC went back to 2.5k, and how empowered it would be by getting even more mainstream due to its cheaper/more accessible price..?

Good news is the eth uis gaining its momentum on his own line
now i can see the chart as it was a prediction from a analyst
he once told me to but eth in low price.....
and im hoping to get some profit from eth
as the preiction says that it will gain 1000$+ in this year

This is reason!
The FUD campaign is getting old. How are the mainstream media groups still pushing the story that BTC is dropping because twitter bans crypto ads. So Twitter banned ads for cryptocurrencies...WHO CARES!!! Since when are companies like Twitter trying to push some sort of agenda. Twitter, google, facebook, etc. saying things like "It's to protect our users," is such a crock of shit. It is an individual's decision to invest in things with no bearing on the company who puts up a paying client's advertisement. HEY TWITTER, you would allow Coca Cola or MacDonald's to advertise...well that made me fat, so it's your fault twitter. Do we see the fault in this logic? Basically what we have is a government and "powers that be" smear campaign to try to disrupt our disruptive market, and guess who they're in bed with. I'll give you a hint...Google, Facebook, Twitter...their user voluntary source of info on everybody. Don't let them win, It's time to WAKE UP and stop being one of the SHEEPLE!!!

Re: Fixed income with BTC trading?

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
Really depends on where you are setting your stoplosses. If you set your stoplosses at for example $8001,- a 1 dollar spread is probably enough beceause there should be laying a shit ton on $8000,-. But if you are setting you stoploss for example on $7999,- you better set a spread of atleast $30,- if you want to be almost 100% sure your order gets filled (because the momentum/stoplosses triggered when going trough such an important support most of the times will push the price significantly lower in 1 instant without filling any of your sell orders if set to tight).

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?

on 27/03/2018, 09:06:05 UTC
I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
BTC SO BIG!
Anyone else see Bitcoin being worth around $80k by next March?
No. The current market cap is at around $135B, so 85K per Bitcoin would raise that to over $1.5 Trillion, which is more than the U.S. economy's entire exports value.

That's never going to happen unless businesses and gigantic corporations start buying Bitcoin in bulk.

\1.5T market cap doesn't mean there is anywhere near that amount invested.

Even at 1.5T, its tiny compared to gold market cap.

Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO?
by

on 27/03/2018, 09:02:11 UTC
I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!
A lot of money was chasing the stock market today. The Dow closed up 669 points. It was just a lot more exciting than the crypto market. And the Twitter and Facebook crypto ad bans didn't help. Markets are fickle. There are a lot of places to invest money. People want a winner. The media's fear uncertainty and doubt about bitcoin is published daily. We're in a price slump. And people are worried about losing their money. Bitcoin is still amazing. Segwit. Lightning. Cheap transactions. A committed Core. But good public relations? We don't have that, and we need it.

Why is it market manipulation if price goes down and then up...
by
Junglee
on 27/03/2018, 08:55:52 UTC
Why is it market manipulation if price goes down and then up... Isn't that what markets do?
Because there are a small handful of whales buying or selling large amounts of bitcoin all at once. They do this to move the market one direction or another with the purpose of inducing fomo or panic selling. Then they cash in on stupid/ignorant investors. So the little guy gets hosed again and again.
Obviously, which is why you should only buy dips and only sell after a run. Whales make money tricking others into panic selling for a loss or tricking them to buy after a pump. Basic market psychology.

Not dead, but no faith in the market = no new buyers. From here on out it's going to be constant manipulation to trick you into losing your money with a gradual decline. Not trolling, literally what I think and so far it's proving true. Still hodling though. Am I an idiot? Maybe.
Dude I've been asking myself the same question. I've been considering selling out my initial investment while I'm still in profit, but it's a fair chunk of my stack right now. Only thing stopping me is as soon as I do it will likely hit 15 or 16k in a few months... but could also be 2k. Best of luck with your trading, gotta play the whales game if you wanna win.

Re: Is this the end of the ethereum coin?
by

on 27/03/2018, 08:42:38 UTC
I have a small amount of ethereum, I've noticed since january 2018, the price of the ethereum is at $1000, but now it already lost 50% from its recent price. Is this case normal for ethereum coin? Or it is the end of ethereum. (Sorry my intention was not to create FUD, I'm just curious and new to cryptoworld).
I've changed my strategy from hodling to trading but making sure I keep the same numbers of bitcoin regardless if it goes up or down. I consider it my investment and I'm working on in to get it back and at the end, I still want to have the same numbers of bitcoins. But when I see these sudden prices changes, the pumps and dumps, created by either pump and dump groups, whales or even exchanges, I think to myself, I'm on a ridiculously manipulative market which main product doesn't generate anything... what the fuck am I doing?

What do you think?
Do you think it will close above 9k on the week? I didn't buy anything this dip because nothing happened to warrant a reversal. We still don't know what regulation will look like, so i'm hesitant to buy BTC and alts now because the SEC/CFTC could just say all unregulated securities have to be delisted, and all unregulated exchanges are illegal in US. A bit harsh, but the uncertainty is still there. Psychologically speaking, i'm trying not to feel the FOMO right now but looking at this logically, the uncertainty is still there. I watched the FEB 5-6 dip come and go without buying, and now this one. Maybe I should have bought a little bit during both. Oh well.

Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto?

on 19/03/2018, 07:45:10 UTC
Our community today is growing bigger and bigger. There are so many recently joined members here in our forum and makes me curious why they are here? I really want to know your real motive in here. Let's speak the truth and be honest of everything because this thing can really affect on how you will interact in the community. After many votes, i'll say my opinion generally to understand what's the real course of joining in this forum.

So why? Let me know.

I did not know earlier and deployed it!
I run a concession stand at fairs and festivals all over eastern U.S. have already decided to put a bitcoin sign up in the window and have some stickers made, beginning next week when the season starts back up. Did not even consider people having wildly wrong ideas about it and it being a starter conversation. The only part that sucks about crypto, is people are just too lazy to learn something as simple as cold storage vs hot wallets, keeping up with a 12 word password, figuring out how to get bitcoin in the first place .... to most people this all sounds like a lot when in reality you could get down the basics in an hour or two. Yeah there is a few things to learn, but at the same time buying and selling things in BTC could be sooo easy and so spread so fast if more people just start laying down the foundations and doing the same painful task of educating. This was a great reminder for me to get off my ass and get those btc signs made up. Gracias.

What do you think?

That is also the reason that I am trying to accept btc and eth in my bar by scanning the QR code, anyone help me!
i own a restaurant/bar. I am looking into accepting bitcoin but have no clue how to create pr codes that fluctuate with the price of bitcoin, and have no idea how to do taxes if i'm accepting multiple transactions a day with the price fluctuations. It's a lot to learn and i'm new to the cryptospace. I can barely do taxes myself as it is.

But, if you did this i bet you would have a ton of people lining up during a bull market. I also have multiple friends that own business' that I have convinced to invest in bitcoin already that would most likely start accepting bitcoin but don't know exactly how it would work with taxes and how much work it would end up being.

Even an online service, like www.bitcoinyourmenu.com
If i could send in my menu, adobe illustrator format, and someone added bitcoin qr codes to it. Simple business. That would work. Is that a thing already?
