Its because you have to be old and into computers at a time when no one was into computers. Just geeks..

I remember the demoscene because I was downloading since 1983 and usually games included the cracking groups demo. Yeeeears ago....

Yes the demo is a very old culture. In 1983, I have not even been born yet. I did not see those years. But as a programmer, this culture affects me. Things that programmers at that time are doing on computers with limited capacity are of my interest.

In those years, the crackers put their own intros in the entry parts of their programs. It was like a kind of hull show. Later, instead of crack the program, preparing a demoscene turned into a more enjoyable ego race.

When they make a documentary about a Demo, it is THE demo!

Thanks for sharing. A nice demo of the Razor1911 group -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi5Awxd_9DY

What are the features that you should have in a trading bot for you? Are there any missing features in the bot software you are using?

How should a good bot software be?

Re: Bitcoin Systemic Changes

For example, BTC developers decided to move to a better digital signature algorithm. https://bitcoincore.org/en/2017/03/23/schnorr-signature-aggregation/

This decision is positive for BTC. Does the developers have the authority to make such changes on the system? Do they get the idea of BTC users when making these kinds of decisions?

Demoscene

What is Demoscene?
The demoscene is an international computer art subculture that specializes in producing demos: small, self-contained computer programs that produce audio-visual presentations. The main goal of a demo is to show off programming, artistic, and musical skills.

Under this heading we can share demoscene examples we like. Let's do the opening with Charles Deenen.

Bitcoin Systemic Changes
by

Does the Bitcoin system still work with the design declared as manifesto? Have any design or structural changes been made on the system?
Who decides the changes to be made on the system? According to what criteria do they make their decisions?

Re: Looking for Game Developer

Its a game. Mobile game. Like the games you play on your phone? Not on web browser of your phone. Literally the game app.

I understand. You want to have an app available for everyone to download from the Google Play Store.

Mobile applications are usually developed in two ways.
App development with native language (Java, Swift, Objective-C). App development as a hybrid (Html, JavaScript, Css, Cordova etc.)
Both work as an application on the phone. But there is a slight difference between them.
Applications developed in native language work directly on the phone. Hybrid developed applications run on WebView. The end user does not understand this difference.

You need to choose according to the requirements of your app.

With C# I can develop a game like this. (Web or Desktop)

But you have to decide app type. (Is it a mobile app or a web app?)
We can develop web applications responsive to mobile devices.

You need to be very careful when investing in Altcoins. If you do not pay attention, you may lose your BTC.
I am following these steps while investing in Altcoin.
  • First I choose a coin with a high volume.
  • Then I look at the daily and weekly price values for this coin.
  • I buy the price when it falls below the average.
  • I sell when the price is higher than the purchase price.

I have increasing my earnings without spending too much time like this. If you want to do technical analysis, you have to take time to do this.

Hi,

Do you think it is a good project idea to make a dice & faucet as a service?
I have not seen any related services. Any reason why not?

There are many sites that present such services. You have to do something different than the others. You have to give them innovations so people can use your platform.

It can also be useful to set a good advertising budget. You need to be able to compete with your competitors.

Re: Technical Analysis and Indicators
by

Do you make technical analysis in trade transactions? Do you take advantage of the indicators?
Almost every trader will be into technical analysis for a profitable trading . Without technical analysis there will be no guarantee of profit making from trading so it is a mandatory one for a good trading experience. I'm suggesting to learn technical analysis so that you can enjoy the advantages of doing it.

Is it worth the time you spend?
When it is mandatory, it is definitely worth the time. Just go for it and find it useful for making profits from your trades.

So do i use the Basic and Technical Analysis methods.
I trust in Mathematics and Statistics Science. I take enjoy in doing watching the markets with technical analysis methods. I even want to take this job a little further. I want to improve the methods of technical analysis using concepts like Big data, artificial intelligence. If you are a curious person, working in this way is really both enjoyable and exciting.

But it is possible to earn money without making technical analysis on the bitcoin market. Daily and weekly price volatility in Bitcoin markets is very high. It can be monetized simply by taking it at a lower price and selling it at a higher price. In this way it is possible to make money by spending less time without technical analysis.

Of course my preference is to trade using technical analysis methods. Because this way we can have more control over the market.

Re: Is developing your own Wallet safer?
by
Just Developer
on 09/03/2017, 17:37:54 UTC
Would developing your own Bitcoin Wallet be safer than using known ones like Electrum? It would obviously be much simpler, with no GUI, worse overall security but no one could get their hands on its source code. I have enough programming experience myself to make it but I'm wondering if it even makes sense to do so.
 Thank for your help!

Bitcoin wallets like Electrum are being developed as open source. More than one programmer is bug-fixing.

The software you are developing on your own may contain some bugs. Your app must pass through a good testing process.

Especially work as a team on a project like bitcoin will be more accurate.

In general I follow a weekly price schedule. I buy at a low price and sell at a high price.
Much more technical analysis is needed in daily and hourly transactions. You need to spend more time.
This causes more stress and risk. Your chances of making mistakes are increasing.

So as of this moment, I'm only earning bitcoin through a signature campaign here on bitcointalk forum.

How are you earning bitcoin?

I do barter on trading sites to win bitcoin. It is possible to earn money, especially by exchanging between BTC and Altcoin.
Apart from that, I am freelancer programming. I am getting the BTC for the service that I have presented.

Bitcoin can not be banned for its technological infrastructure. The torrent system has been exist for years. They haven't managed to destroy the torrent system. Bitcoin is a system that works with P2P logic. So you do not have to worry.
