This would be a quite scary thing to see. However, I think that its much farther away than we think. If an AI can beat a human, what happens when we pit computers together? And there's always some downfall of AI. A single aspect in which they don't perform as well as humans and they're done for.

Are we really coming to this? People selling accounts to closed registration exchanges? Come on.

Sadly not. Hoping we can get a new exchange soon because even if coinsmarkets comes back up it is still quite unreliable.

I'd reckon storing your wallet on flash storage is much better than on a single HDD. Keep multiple backups.

And if you're planning for long term storage, make a paper wallet and store it somewhere safe or put it in cold storage on an air-gapped machine.

Hardware wallet always an option too.

Man, now that I look at the small tips of DOGE I received so long ago I am having a cold hard case of FOMO with DOGE. A second moon? Unbelievable. 

You can always just share private keys between wallets, no? And if you're on a computer you can just use core wallets. Most altcoins hardly have a chain > 1 GB.

With how many forks of bitcoin there I'm surprised someone hasn't built a wallet that automatically pulls all the relevant constants from Github and adds support for coins on the fly. Would be quite the revolutionary technology.  Anyone wanna do that for me?

I'm assuming you mean blockchain.info, and if so, you just need to register on an exchange and verify your account. From there you can deposit your bitcoin and sell it for your local currency.

If you earned 0.5 in 2 days its quite likely that you have so much funds to trade with you could easily just quit trading and retire on that money for the rest of your life. Or you just got insanely lucky.

There are plenty of other uses for fuel beyond cars. I think there might be some impact, but not as much as you would expect to happen.

I think the worry of Bitcoin being used for crime will slowly fade out as we adopt it as an actual currency. You do realize that USD and all other fiats are used for crime too right? And most of the time those are quite untraceable too. If anything Monero would be the "currency for criminals" since it has absolutely no chance of being traced short of someone having their wallet stolen or getting it confiscated by authorities.

Bitcoin USD value is going up and as a result ALT/BTC pairs are lowering in price. This is all natural. I mean, just look at coinmarketcap? Coins like Ethereum are up 15% even despite this.

I think today most qualifications and degrees are less meaningful but more people are requiring them. It doesn't quite seem logical, but I guess that's just what's happening.   

This has already probably been said many times but I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.
