Nobody cares about the coin since the name change to Munt, under less than desirable investor conditions the gulden community still had hope when the blockchain was called Gulden. This blockchain only survived because of the Gulden name.
...and MaNI , you guys lost a good developer. MaNI should of started his own project without the drag that Rijk brings to the situation. Rijk isn't a scammer from what I can tell but I don't know if Rijk knows what he wanted with blockchain tech and with all the changes gave a bad impression and uncertainty on your chain.
The Munt name will require more effort to make work than riding on the Gulden nostalgia.
Malcolm no longer developer for Munt and Florin, this is over. Rijk still has postmine and domains that was paid for by community funding. One member told me on slack he lost more money on Rijks coins then on a scam coin.
MaNI won't have a problem with getting another job in the industry, shortage of crypto developers.

It's difficult to start a successful service like Nocks, I tried to get GRS listed on Nocks because of all features it came with that the GRS team could of used effectively in the wallets. MaNi did some good work on the Gulden wallets with Nocks.
What if the investors took over and actually marketed this coin PROPERLY? Think Indulgences (NLG--the ticker suddenly matches better and "Gulden" is still in the name, just rearranged). NLG could keep the current gulden architecture (POW2, sigma, lowered supply) and specs (180sec block, 90nlg per block reward) while shedding the "country coin" reputation and the one-man-show, RP's scrooge ass "give me more money or the chain will fail" crap reputation that demands 68% of the block reward which goes to centure's dumpage on new buyers. These aspects are actually the biggest things holding the project back in my view. RP of course blames OTHERS instead of looking in the mirror which is typical of narcissistic sociopaths.
think what disadvantage GRS has compared to Gulden with the name of the coin but GRS was able to secure good investors because of work ethic and true decentralization. It's impossible that Gulden is worse off if the funding Rijk gifted himself with the premine and 68% of the block reward.

A block explorer does not take effort to maintain , I run one for another coin. It's only the initial config and making sure your hosting site has no issues from time to time. He lost interest in crypto is the more accurate explanation.
But you make a weird thinking error by keep dragging in the current price of 1 Florin. Before they bought it the price was dead in then water, months of 3 dollar range. You keep mentioning “premine worth of 2.5 million and now 3.6 million even” That was not the value at the time of the sale.
No investor pays 2 million for a 1 million marketprice ferrari just to gamble that the ferrari might be worth 3 million in the future. If the Ferrari is 1 million you pay 1 million.

It's all an illusion that anonymous angel investors picked up 45000 Florin.
Of course it won't be possible to sell that 45000 florin on the markets because all eyes will be on those premine addresses, the only option left is to take the 45000 florin and put them in those hodling accounts. The fanbase goes wild because the premine can't be sold, the founder has complete control of the hodling supply and can sell those earnings on the market as the market can absorb those sales. The hodling accounts don't get the airdrop and next they won't be getting any rewards.

Florin has strong pumpamentals for the next 3 months, it's ready for another round of 100-200% short term profit. The Gulden dev trough with the bitvavo funding takes care of business and florin has no downside pressure. Milk the Gulden pump the florin!

We did track the movements of a few dev reward transactions before Novo was rebranded to Florin. Gulden dev to bittrex, btc to stex, btc to purchase Novo, we have one of these events saved with screenshots but I do believe most involved with Novo knew this already.
When florin pumps , Gulden can't pump. Same community splitting the buying power. Price to fall to 17-19 range.
It's Karma. Gulden killed EFL, Florin Kills Gulden. I asked in 2014 for a merge with Gulden, is it a waste that NL don't have a thriving crypto. Rijk does better with a international coin and wish he started florin in 2014 and not Gulden.
Gulden can survive and do ok if it stays on bittrex. It takes some balls to invest in florin that is dependant on one exchange.
The bitcoinmeester removal should serve as a reminder to how important such services are.
Digibyte is another coin that started the same time as Gulden, digibyte team and community really focussed on exchange listings and with a supply of 15 billion compared to Guldens 580m, it has a price that is 3 fold higher. Digibyte has not done anything in development in a over a year but it's open to many markets and accessibility is key.
GRS managed to benefit from EFL failing and Rijk not getting on with some rich investors in the past that helped GRS get onto binance and a few other exchanges. GRS has less marketing and hype than Gulden but good development and in the right markets.
Trying to convince one of my friends who is a early cardano adopter to buy some Gulden. At least 200k, crypto market is volatile and Gulden generally has a stable price.
Manage his expectations, Cardano has Charles Hoskinson who is out there daily promoting the benefits of Cardano. Most cryptos are in the same situation as Gulden and unless you on good exchanges don't expect much movement in the price.
Gulden can work with a decentralized structure because it has a good base community. I was right about Novo failing, not because I am some genius but because you need someone at the top putting in effort. Low supply coins have less community to carry the weight.
I know stores run by hippies with more aspirations for their businesses.
You can't compare someone like Rijk who has a full time job to other founders who can work on their projects full time. Bitvavo listing will change the course for Gulden and with a higher stable price Rijk can quit his job and put effort into Gulden.

From the development funding Malcolm and Rits are full time. Rijk has full time work at Apple and maintains the gulden website after hours. This is why he can't promote Gulden and market like a lot of other founders can, it's the same with the GRS team. Part time development after working hours.

I am stuck on sync block 1412634 , must i reinstall?
I was stuck on 99% syncing headers, I have downloaded the latest version and let the blockchain resync from scratch. Go to you Gulden folder in appdata and remove everything except your wallet.dat file. This was the only solution that worked for me.
