Re: Ethereum $25 million Theft: Two Brothers arrested

In not so latest news,

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/05/22/1KqEa.png

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/two-brothers-arrested-attacking-ethereum-blockchain-and-stealing-25m-cryptocurrency

So two brothers get arrested with a huge $25 million that they've stole from Ethereum as the two manipulated the Ethereum blockchain. It is reported that the heist took only "12 seconds" and it's the first of it's kind.

However, the US government are diligent to track down the culprit, namely, Anton Peraire-Bueno and James Pepaire-Bueno were arrested in Boston and New York.

I mean they studied one of the most prestigious schools in the US with mathematics and computer science degree. Only that they have used it to steal money. And if they are indicted, they are going to face maximum penalty of 20 years in prison for each count.

This is an unprecedented heist, this clearly shows the Ethereum isnt that safe or were they actually collaborating with Ethereum, look the rate at which some of these crazy scams are going around i cant help but think about playbetr.com  and bitcoin.ag recently did to  this user

https://news.bitcoin.com/turkey-prepares-new-crypto-law-to-align-with-international-standards/
"Turkey is preparing to present a new law to regulate crypto assets to Parliament. The legislation, aimed at aligning with international standards and reducing risks associated with crypto transactions, will enforce strict regulations on the licensing and operation of cryptocurrency trading platforms by the Capital Markets Board. It will also ensure the safe custody of assets, establish transparent platform-customer relationships, and specify sanctions for non-compliance. The draft legislation is expected to be submitted to Parliament within a week. This initiative, strongly endorsed by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, seeks to remove Turkey from a financial crime watchdog’s “gray list” and enhance its standing under the Financial Action Task Force’s standards."

Now this is one positive news we all need but if i may ask though does any country in Africa have this kind of laws that meets up international standards cause truth be told there are alot of folks down in Africa who are actually using crypto to its max and we all know if there are no proper regulations in an environment there's definitely going to be chaos

This isn't an isolated incident. Kineko’s behavior is a clear pattern of fraud. They allow you to deposit and lose money without a hitch, but the moment you start winning, they fabricate reasons to lock you out and keep your winnings. Their customer service is non-existent; they ignore emails and provide no real support.

Stay away from Kineko. They are deceitful and unethical, designed to scam users out of their money. There are plenty of reputable betting sites out there Kineko is definitely not one of them.

Re: Stake.com has permanently closed my account with 17 000 USD in it

I see more cases appearing day after day with Stake Casino regarding the rejection of documents during the KYC process. However, each case is always handled by the team either by giving another chance, or at least given a valid reason for the permanent account disable.
In your case, this is not the first time you have encountered this issue with multiple other casinos, we can’t understand the reason yet. For me as a gambler in many casinos, I rarely even go through the KYC process. However, when I do get a request to upload my documents, even if one of my documents is rejected, the casino team always give me more chances and explanations to upload another document.

If this issue is appearing with you for the first time, it means you either broke one of the casino’s rules or you are on a blacklist in their KYC system.

I think you are not being fair to this person who has taken out time to make a very huge complain such as this, do you have any idea the other websites such as betcoin.ag and playbetr.com are doing to other people's account, if you dont trust this person's complain kindly refrain from judging them.

Warning: Avoid Kineko – They're a Complete Scam!

If you're considering using Kineko for your betting needs, think again. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't want anyone else to fall victim to their fraudulent practices.

After depositing thousands of dollars in BTC and placing various sports bets, I started to win. Suddenly, Kineko limited my stakes to almost nothing and blocked my account. They demanded KYC documentation, which I provided, only to have my account locked and my withdrawals suspended without any valid reason.

Kineko accused me of fraudulent actions without providing any evidence or explanation. They offered to return my deposit as if that would make up for the thousands of dollars they owe me in winnings. Their customer service is a joke; they ignore emails and give you the runaround on live chat, telling you to email for more information, which they never provide.

This is not an isolated incident. Many users have reported similar experiences, being shut down and scammed out of their winnings as soon as they start making money. Kineko is a fraudulent operation preying on unsuspecting bettors.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Avoid Kineko at all costs unless you want to be scammed like I was. There are plenty of legitimate betting platforms out there—don't waste your time and money on this one.

This is a prove of what they did to someone https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5495661.0

Betcoin.ag and Playbetr.com are absolute scams designed to rob you blind the moment you start winning. I’ve been using Betcoin.ag since March 2, 2022, and Playbetr.com since December 31, 2022. Initially, I deposited substantial amounts—$1000 on Betcoin.ag and $4000 on Playbetr.com, followed by additional deposits totaling around $7000-8000 in BTC. I bet on sports like NBA and was losing for a while, which was just fine for them.

The moment I started winning, both websites limited my stakes to laughable amounts and blocked my accounts under the pretense of "fraudulent actions" without a shred of evidence. After requesting withdrawals (0.65 BTC from Playbetr and 0.21 BTC from Betcoin), I was suddenly asked for KYC. I provided all necessary documents, only to find my accounts locked and my withdrawals suspended.

Their excuse? A vague, baseless accusation of fraud. They offered to return my deposit as if that would appease me—laughable, considering they owe me close to $20,000. Despite numerous emails and attempts to resolve this via live chat, I’ve been stonewalled for over a month with no real response.

These platforms are anything but transparent and fair, contrary to their false claims. They prey on unsuspecting users, allowing losses but shutting you down the moment you win. I’m not alone in this—many others have faced similar scams. It’s high time these fraudulent sites are exposed and held accountable for their deceitful practices. Avoid Betcoin.ag and Playbetr.com at all costs unless you want to be scammed out of your hard-earned money.

My kineko account was today disabled. 250 000$ inside it. Wow.

What did i just read? I'm truly disgusted by Kineko's actions in disabling your account and effectively stealing $250,000 from you. This is an outrageous violation of trust and an egregious example of the lack of accountability in the online betting industry.

It's utterly unacceptable for Kineko to withhold such a significant sum of money without providing a valid explanation or offering any recourse for you to address the situation. Their blatant disregard for your rights as a customer is appalling and highlights the urgent need for greater regulation and oversight in the online gambling sector.

I urge you to take every possible measure to hold Kineko accountable for their actions, whether through legal recourse, public advocacy, or other means available to you. No individual should have to endure such blatant theft, and Kineko must be held responsible for their reprehensible behavior.

I stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time and hope that justice will be served swiftly to ensure that you receive the restitution you rightfully deserve.

For transparency sake they (kineko) should be the one publishing the bet history. I know they read this thread. If they back their word, publish the full bet history from my first bet at the end of December 2022 to my last bet January 2024. They have my blessing to publish it.

This might be a very difficult task, can a platform that everyone is obviously saying that they are automatically scammers be willing to publish their bet history i guess not, but we can still be optimistic, cause doing the math's from December 2022 to January is just too long a time for them to actually not have done anything about the situation

Demanding transparency is absolutely crucial, especially in situations like this where trust has been eroded. Your suggestion for Kineko to publish the full bet history from your first bet in December 2022 to your last bet in January 2024 is not only reasonable but also necessary for resolving any doubts or concerns.

By providing complete transparency in this way, Kineko would demonstrate a commitment to accountability and fairness. It would not only benefit you directly by clarifying your betting activity but also reassure other users about the integrity of their platform.

Your willingness to grant them permission to publish this information speaks volumes about your confidence in the legitimacy of your betting history. It's a bold move that shows you have nothing to hide and are genuinely seeking resolution and clarity.

Hopefully, Kineko will heed your call for transparency and take the necessary steps to publish the full bet history as requested. It's a simple yet powerful gesture that could go a long way in restoring trust and confidence in their platform.

Since efialtis already said he will see to the way forward on this, i will advice that you remain calm while he receives a response from them through their contacts, but if that doesn't work, then know that action will be taken regarding them on this forum, however, just as a reminder, we should make sure that we go for what we can afford to do and have risk on when dealing with any platform, after all, the forum will not be liable for any of the lost we have been through while dealing with others.

I'm very interested to know about how do you propose the forum to take action against Kineko, given --as far as I know-- they don't have any official reps here and there is no warning can be placed against them in form of negative feedback or flags. So... how?

I'm truly sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with Kineko.com. Your experience sounds incredibly frustrating and, unfortunately, all too familiar in the world of online gambling. You started with high hopes and significant investments, only to face obstacles when it came time to withdraw your well-deserved winnings. It's understandable that you'd feel anxious and upset given the substantial sum involved and the sudden communication breakdown from Kineko.

From what you've described, it seems like Kineko initially provided a supportive and encouraging environment for your betting activities. The increased betting limits you received indicate that they recognized you as a valuable customer and aimed to cater to your betting needs. However, the situation drastically changed when you attempted to withdraw a large portion of your balance. This shift is concerning and warrants further scrutiny.

The explanation provided by Kineko—that their data provider is not processing payments and that they are now in litigation—raises several red flags. While it's possible that Kineko is genuinely facing issues with their data provider, the timing and nature of the problems you're experiencing are troubling. The lack of a concrete resolution timeframe adds to the uncertainty and stress, as does the suggestion to open a second account for betting and withdrawals. This workaround seems convoluted and could potentially complicate the situation further.

Your proof, via the imgur links provided, supports your claims and shows that you are not simply making baseless accusations. The communication from Kineko's management is clear in acknowledging the problem, yet it doesn't offer a satisfactory immediate solution. This leaves you and other affected users in a difficult position, unable to access your funds and left wondering if and when the issue will be resolved.

It's essential to document all communications and keep a detailed record of your interactions with Kineko. This will be crucial if you decide to escalate the matter to regulatory bodies or seek legal advice. Given the substantial amount of money involved, it might be worth consulting with a legal professional who specializes in online gambling disputes. They can provide guidance on your rights and potential courses of action.

Additionally, sharing your experience on forums and social media can help raise awareness and potentially connect you with others who are facing similar issues. There's strength in numbers, and collective pressure from multiple affected users can sometimes expedite resolutions or prompt more transparent communication from the company in question.

While it's understandable to feel disheartened, try to remain persistent and proactive in seeking a resolution. Kineko's reputation is on the line, and they should be motivated to resolve the issue to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. Keep reaching out to them regularly for updates and hold them accountable for their promises.

In the meantime, it might also be helpful to explore alternative platforms for your betting activities. Look for well-established, reputable sites with positive reviews and a history of fair dealings with their users. Diversifying where you place your bets can help mitigate risks and ensure you have multiple avenues for your betting interests.

Ultimately, your experience highlights the importance of transparency and accountability in the online gambling industry. It's crucial for companies to maintain open and honest communication with their users, especially when issues arise. I hope your situation with Kineko gets resolved swiftly and to your satisfaction. Stay vigilant, document everything, and continue to seek the resolution you deserve.

They are scammers and its confirmed, I talked about it few months ago and I warned moderators and users here that more and more threads about Betcoin and Playbetr will be pilling up, no-one is taking any measurements, books have same ownership, same support service and they often make misleading IP proofs taking informations from both sites and just close accounts and never even return deposit.

While I understand your frustration, claiming they are scammers without concrete evidence can be harmful. We need to focus on gathering proof and pushing for proper investigations. Blanket accusations won't help resolve the issue and may even detract from legitimate claims. Let's stay constructive and work together to hold these platforms accountable.

...but they will still lose in court
Then take them to court and prove your case if you or anyone else thinks they have one.
Personally, I find it impossible to side with the player in this particular case. It would be sad if he was innocent. He took the case to a mediator that ruled against him. That coupled with a record of previous failed mediation attempts and abuses makes it hard for me to think he is innocent. I am sure you won't agree, but that's your opinion.

There are going to be a lot of punching holes that wont be spared, is the court really ready for a serious hearing on cryptocurrency , secondly i am not saying that the person who reported these big guys on here might be clean or anything, but if eventually it gets to court dont you think they had like dig up your past and boy you had be sorry if they bring out dirt's which you dont want the public, press or even family members to know

To people who do not believe I am innocent, I can prove everything to you in 5 minutes in a call. I can prove to you they are lying and have zero proof of any of their claims, which are all based on fabricated evidence.
Why would someone need to talk to you privately to see the proof you have? If you have proof you are innocent and the casino is lying, make it public. If you don't want to share it because it contains sensitive information, it doesn't make much sense showing it to an unknown internet person behind a forum username.

Soon everyone will see what frauds Playbetr are.
Why soon, why don't we see it already?

Because it obviously takes time to expose a big sportsbook for their scams. Me claiming I've been scammed obviously isn't enough, especially when they are denying it, making up lies & fabricating fake evidence. Just stay updated on this thread and you will soon see.

I'm sorry you're facing this frustrating situation. It’s troubling that ThePogg hasn't reached out to you despite Playbetr's claims. If you haven't already, consider contacting ThePogg directly through their official channels. Gathering all your evidence and presenting it clearly might help expedite the process. It's crucial to stay persistent and ensure your voice is heard.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It's frustrating to be treated this way, especially after complying with KYC requirements and having a solid betting history. I suggest escalating the issue by contacting regulatory bodies or using platforms that mediate such disputes. Keep all your documentation and correspondence as evidence. Hopefully, you'll get a resolution soon.
