Hell anything could happen, i have had my blockchain corrupted many times so i suggest take a backup of that whole Roaming-Bitcoin folder with
your wallet.dat file. If you have any bootstrap keep it stored too.

Spend a little portion of it and hold the rest. Will treat myself for all this patience but really doubt it'll go there anytime soon.
