How is the pump and dump going?

miserably

hows your silver holding doing

that market was shorted massively 24 million ounces at one point

as you would say the dumpers just dumped the shit out of it

looks like you got in on the very bottom $15 ish well done.

$15 Silver is NOT the bottom. It will be driven lower to the $10-12 range by the summer.

Save your powder for the summer and get ready for a wild 4th quarter 2015. Thank me later.

do you think it is better to change in ripple/altcoins?

They are dying faster than Bitcoin. If Bitcoin has no value then the altcoins definitely has no value.

Selling your BTC at a huge loss for centralised ripple really is the only logical conclusion right now. 9/10 ponzi's would agree.

Fundamentals don't matter in a speculative market. They just don't. If anything I am impressed that ripple stayed strong while bitcoin continues to plummet.

It is ridiculous that somebody calls bitcoin decentralized while pointing fingers at XRP. Just insane.

It would not surprise me  at all if Satoshi himself was the one destroying bitcoin. Maybe he doesnt like how it turned out and sees that the vehicle he created for the benefit of mankind has been turned into a cesspool of greed, filth, criminal activity, incompetent exchanges, and sleezy characters.

I am non-partisan but I just dont see a future for bitcoin anymore. it literally has nothing going for it with nothing to change in the future as traders continue to drive the price into the ground. Bitcoin has destroyed itself. I am out and not coming back.

Re: Paper Wallet vs Hardware Wallet (USB)

What do you guys think, paper wallet or a USB like storage device, like the trezor? I am personally kind of iffy on it but would like to hear everyones feedback.

It's a great option, here is how it compares:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=858604.0

Really good thread on all options.
I personally would use a paper wallet, with the private key stored in a bank locker.

Bank locker is a bad bad idea. You are already considered an "unsecured creditor". Do not allow a totally bankrupt banking system to hold your coins as a counterparty. You are inviting risk that is unnecessary.

I already asked my mortgage company if I could pay them in Bitcoin and they declined...I was not surprised.

Call their bluff.

Ask them to send your mortgage note to escrow for settlement and closure of the account within 30 days.

They will shit bricks.

You think bitcoin distribution is unfair?

LMAO. Only delusional ignorant idiots would question the fairness of bitcoin after realizing the top 1% own more than half the entire fucking currency pool on the planet. Here you go idiots:

Putin is buying gold.  http://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-putin-buying-much-gold-210532064.html

The only way gold goes up, is war.  Putin is uniquely positioned for starting a war, realizing huge gold profits.

The cool thing is, bitcoin will also rise up big time in a war scenario.  So everyone should hodl.

Meanwhile - Dutch move 122 tons of gold out of US.

AMSTERDAM (AP) " The Dutch Central Bank says it has recently shipped 122.5 tons of gold worth around 4 billion euros ($5 billion) from safekeeping in New York back to its headquarters in Amsterdam.

bit.ly/122Tons2NL

germany should do the same...100% back.

Germany already tried. NYFed says they need 7 years to deliver!

I don't think he fully understands bitcoin technology and it is the reason the Russia is banning any bitcoin related activities. The funny thing is that Putin as a president is openly buying gold, does it mean he has no confidence of Rupee's future.

Rupees are India. Rubles are Russia!

This "news" is so old you are only about five years late to the party.

The movements have dried up. It is now going to resolve one way or the other. I think it will go downwards but not confident to actually trade on it.

Downward probably, as that is the safe bet. No one knows if we left the bear market yet, and without any serious good news or extremely high volume to sustain another rally people will get out again.

The fact that bank deposits will soon no longer be considered money but paper investments might make a big difference in the long term. I don't know about the short term though.

http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2014/11/warning-bank-deposits-will-soon-no.html

Quote
This weekend the G20 nations will convene in Brisbane, Australia to conclude a week of Asian festivities that began in Beijing for the developed countries and major economies. And on Sunday, the biggest deal of the week will be made as the G20 will formally announce new banking rules that are expected to send shock waves to anyone holding a checking, savings, or money market account in a financial institution.

On Nov. 16, the G20 will implement a new policy that makes bank deposits on par with paper investments, subjecting account holders to declines that one might experience from holding a stock or other security when the next financial banking crisis occurs. Additionally, all member nations of the G20 will immediately submit and pass legislation that will fulfill this program, creating a new paradigm where banks no longer recognize your deposits as money, but as liabilities and securitized capital owned and controlled by the bank or institution.

In essence, the Cyprus template of 2011 will be fully implemented in every major economy, and place bank depositors as the primary instrument of the next bailouts when the next crisis occurs...

Is this fucking real? I'm on a mobile device right now, can people help me out with credible sources please

I have not researched it yet or checked out the link provided. It was posted in the alt section and there has not been much discussion about it yet. It's a big deal if it's true.

Spain, Canada, and New Zealand passed legislation declaring bank deposits as unsecured credit, over a year ago. Not following it closely but i suspect others have followed suit over the last year.

ever heard of Jim Rickards?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYW5OGWfqJc

may 2015. Cheesy

Have you read Rickards' "Day After Plan" chapter in his death of money book?

If so, could you summarize it for us?

I'm not a bear or something but I don't feel pretty good about this pump.
I have a feeling this is one of the most critical bull traps where everyone will losing faith after it and
final capilulation will kicking in soonish after that.

Will it blend ?

Dont worry. This is possibly the final accumulation phase for crypto early-birds at early adoption prices. We should enjoy and remember these days.

Even if it is a bulltrap, I see astronomical upside in the longterm.

I really feel ashamed as a quark holder when i look at other coins dev activity like darkcoin, max guevera you fcking failed, i know you don't give a shit about quark and sold out long time ago. I'm sorry for those who have done their best for this coin, but max should be ashamed of himself. fuck him and fuck digitalindustry

Max Guevara doesn't exist. Max Guevara is the name of Jessica Alba's character in an old fox tv show.

Do you guys now see what I told you months ago? There is literally nothing holding quark together except bagholders, a few angry and disgruntled whales, and large exchange wallets. The community is getting smaller and smaller. If quark drops below 1 million marketcap, which is a real possibility, expect quark to continue to plummet down the coinmarketcap list. There is no technical support for quark below .00001. NONE.

Countdown to emotard spewing more BS about quark's "resilience" and "stable" marketcap. Quark is much worse off now than when I sold everything months ago. So glad I got out when I did. I even recovered most of my lost BTC. I hope the rest of u are smart enough to see that you are being given the current gift of undervaluation in other altcoins. Take what little value is left and transfer them to an altcoin with momentum and a real future. By doing so, you are proactively taking control over a longterm mistake and gain a real chance to recover your lost funds.

Quark is theoretically a very unique coin but the management of it's value is absolutely dreadful and cannot be trusted whatsoever.
