Re: T17/S17 malfunction: cases, solutions, remedies, RMA history

Antminer S17 has no hash rate or cannot be started. This may be caused by changes in the internal data of the hash board. The internal data of the three hash boards must be consistent for the miners to work normally. At present, there is a solution for the failure of mixed use of hash boards or abnormal internal data, which can be completed with only a small device, which is developed by ZeusMining, website: www.zeusbtc.com

;DYes, Bitmain has stopped repairing some early models, but we don’t need to panic. In fact, we can repair the miners ourselves. Only a few necessary tools are needed. There is a company in China that sells Hashboard repair tools and tutorials. Simple, the website is: www.zeusbtc.com

Friends, your miner has a fault. Would you try to repair it yourself?

As the hash rate of miners continues to increase, the number of chips used internally by miners is also increasing. Excessive number of chips brings a higher failure rate. This is very consistent with philosophical theory, as much as you gain, you will lose as much. But on the whole, a high hash rate miner is still a good choice for people because it is more economical. It has higher returns and shorter payback cycles.
In the era of high hash rate, the failure rate of miners will also increase. If your miners suddenly stop working, what will you do? I think the first thing you think of is official maintenance, but the time and money wasted during this period seems unacceptable to you. Secondly, you will think of the nearby maintenance department, but the high maintenance fee will waste your previous income, but for comprehensive consideration, your choice should be the nearby maintenance department because it is fast. But if there is no maintenance department near you, it will be a very headache. You will look around and be at a loss.
In fact, there is another shortcut, that is, you can repair them yourself. As long as you have basic wiring thinking, you can complete the work well, and you can even repair them for others to make money.
Before that, I was a TV salesperson. Out of my love for cryptocurrency, I started mining cryptocurrency in 2017. During this period I encountered damaged miners, but there was no maintenance department near my city, which caused me a lot of headaches. I suddenly came up with an idea, why can't I repair them by myself?
So I found a Chinese company (www.zeusbtc.com) on Google, which specializes in the production of maintenance tutorials and maintenance kits for mining machines and the sales of miner parts. I contacted them and got some tools I needed: including Chip, test fixture and electric soldering iron, as well as related video tutorials and manuals. Fortunately, this is not as complicated as I imagined. In the next 3 days, I successfully repaired 13 S9 Hash boards. Of course, this is inseparable from the patient guidance and strong support of ZeusMining technicians. I am very happy and thank them very much!

Antminer S17 is reborn, my repair diary
by

I have 10 Antminer S17s, which have been running perfectly for the first three months, and then the unfortunate thing happened on October 26th.
One of the S17s stopped working that day. I checked the log and backstage list, and only two of their three hash boards were left.
However, the next day, another S17 stopped working again. The difference is that I am very confused, which is a little weird.
After my inspection, the cause was that the cooling partition installed on the window leaked, and the water vapor was taken back inside the miner through the fan, causing damage.
So I disassembled the two miners, took out the hash boards, combined the completed uncorroded hash boards, and put them in the shell again to try to make them run.
What puzzles me is that it can't start, this kind of situation is abnormal, and the log prompts various errors.
I was confused, so I disassembled another S17 that was in operation, replaced the shell with two of the Hashboards, and started it again, and the fault persisted.
So I put in the three hash boards of the famous miner to fill the shell at the same time, and tried to run it, but everything was normal.
I checked the model again, and there was no error, but why the same healthy hash board could not start when combined? I was lost again!
I asked the technical staff of ZeusMiming, and their answer was that the difference in the internal data of the hash board would cause it to fail to start, which seemed to make sense.
So under their recommendation, I bought a hash version editor and received the goods yesterday.
I synchronized the data of other hash boards according to the manual, and then reconnected the power to run the miner. This time the result was good, and it worked perfectly.
Again, I want to thank them for saving my S17 with a small amount of money and reducing the time loss as much as possible. I am very satisfied with this!
Summary: If you want the same model of miners, hash boards cannot be mixed, because the internal data may be different. If you want them to run, you need some kind of tool to realize your ideas.
I recommend their team because of professional service and superb technology: www.zeusbtc.com

Re: Is the crypto market saturated?

Market saturation is far from coming, but the maintenance of cryptocurrency mining machines seems to have encountered major problems. It will be a hassle to repair mining machines purchased from China. Currently some miners are learning how to repair miners and buy repair tools and parts from ZeusMining. This seems to be a good way. Website: www.zeusbtc.com Smiley
