Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH

Update: I've alerted support to all ticket numbers posted or sent by DM since my last post, except for verification tickets and tickets that are already at the highest priority.

I'm very sorry, but due the volume of requests about verification tickets we are no longer able escalate these tickets (escalation was not helping much anyway for these tickets). The verification team is working very hard to process accounts as soon as possible in the order they are received. Unfortunately, due to a long queue of accounts waiting to get verified, it may take two weeks or longer. We are doing everything we can to speed this up, including hiring more staff, but the long wait time for account verification is likely to continue for some time.

Darga, Might I ask you for an update on the bug that affected a couple of users last week with the orders executed out of the order book? It's been more than a week and all I got is a "we are investigating it", while some accounts are in negative because of this.

It's the first time I've heard of this particular issue, so I'm not sure how long it's been an issue, but the frequency of it right now is probably related to the current very high volume.

I reported this particular issue more than 3 years ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290799.msg4376913#msg4376913

There have been other reports as well, scattered throughout the thread, so it may have been known for even longer. It used to happen quite rarely, once every few weeks or even less frequently. I suppose that the uptick in these incidents is due to the increased volume. But the issue itself is far from new.

edit: Reading further, it seems that Serpens66 spotted it a month before me as well. Also, you reported in Jan 2014 that you would be looking into it Smiley

You reported similar behavior, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the same cause. What I'm saying is that this is the first time I've heard about this particular cause of price spikes from our developers. That doesn't mean it hasn't been around for a long time, I'm just saying I'm not sure how long it's been around since this is the first I've heard of this cause (again, cause, not the behavior). We've had other issues in the past that have caused similar spikes (like the bid>ask issue that has been discussed here before). Probably the behavior you saw 3 years ago was from the bid>ask issue.

Please Dargo, check your PM inbox. I'm affected by the execution "out of the order book" bug...

2- there are now 2 new entries of 500 ltc eatch in that wallet

2 in the latest 10 hours. Look at yesterday and past days... More than 20 per hour. This Ponzi is dead, when they decide to liquidate the rest of their LTC assets it will be over.

PS: Don't look just at the BTC/LTC pair, they will sell LTCs into other currencies where possible. They will try to keep the BTC/LTC as high as possible until it's too late so don't expect big sell offs in BTC/LTC in the next hours. You read it here first.

Just 5% of the total amount transferred to that account is still there. Seems like the Pyramid is about to collapse if there are no new 500 LTC transfer (which they wont when everybody is aware of this forum post and all the news in the blogs).

If you have Litecoins bought in the last days SELL THEM NOW, or you will be very upset in the next weeks...

The party is not over.

Bot stopped. Last buys are real market buys. Seems that somebody doesn't want it to go down after buying while the bot was doing it's job.

Won't last. Sell.

Another related question: What dev environment do you use? Please, don't tell me terminal + make, I'm already doing that :-)

Vim.

Sorry, couldn't resist Cheesy

Hehehehe that goes implicit in "terminal" Wink

Hi guys.

Am I missing something or Bitcoin wallet, post 0.9 release, doesn't come with a .pro (QT-Creator project file) anymore? Have anyone here created one and can share it? Even instructions on how to create it?
It's really great to have QT-Creator compile and run and visual debug breakpoints (I know, it's no Eclipse or VS, but still...) rather than crude terminal + make.

Another related question: What dev environment do you use? Please, don't tell me terminal + make, I'm already doing that :-)

It's on sale again,  MoreBloodWine won't use it since he has to spend at least 105.6 excluding shipping and that's was not his plan.

New price: 0.09 BTCs and you get a coupon of $105.6

Yes but over a long time period - not the next month and through the usual cause of business and probably through funding businesses that expand the bitcoin ecosystem. So there is absolutely no chance of 30,000 coins hitting  exchanges in one go, so the market no longer needs to fear the quick sale and profit turn. To me this is about as bullish an outcome as we could have hoped for.

Agree 100%. Just pointing that sooner or later 30000 BTCs that were outside the market for a year are now back. They can all be kept unused or unchanged but they are back.
