@claymore
Man i can't wait for you to update something on the XT.
On the edge of our seats man!

New version with Navi cards support is ready, I will release it when AMD releases DAG-fix drivers, it will be soon.

But that pool is crazy, when no block height is sent SRB uses block height 0, and pool accepted that result, which shouldn't happen.

this is how a good job should look :

Code:
json_receive[259]: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"job","params":{"blob":"0b0bf1a5bfe405a17745ceba1ac56db8353be64c3ac900b042217bd528c0a8fd4859b9f25ae7d3000000006b67bdffaf379ef71a75d2fe532b646742a92e3d77f0f2ca774cfdc1053b295612","job_id":"15551","target":"cf8b0000","height":1793523}}

See the "height":1793523 at the end

Yeah, is a crazy pool. But all winking fine? no need re-programming?)

That is not a CN V4/R pool or if it is, it's not working good. The accepted messages are false.
No. It's also CN V4/R pool. TMR working well. Hashing withouts errors.

It cant work when the pool does not send block height, you can see in the log in the json if the pool sent block height or not

can you paste a part of the log where this error is?

I think target is hash rate - 3K and about 200w consumption.
Any ideas?

Confusing about 8 vega's rig.
Linux, 0.42, "DEVICES" : [0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7] or "AUTO"
Trying start with all GPU used. Miner will work only 1st 5 GPU(0,1,2,3,4), speed for GPU 5,6,7 = 0 and power consumption about 20-30w(idle).
Does not matter what GPU used, miner works only with 5.
But! If i run 2 miners with 2 configs  "DEVICES" : [0,1,2,3,4] and "DEVICES" : [5,6,7] all devices works fine with full load and good hashing.
For me it not problem run 2 instances, but anyway...
Any ideas?

guys, I added tdxminer to smos. It's running rock solid for two months now.
I can write you step how to achieve that for 0.1 ETH. You can send me PM or DM on discord : @skrgahr
proof : https://imgur.com/a/ebcE1o1
hehe Smiley Very easy add tdxminer to smos for RX GPU.. its cost 0.001cent or nothing:)
If you can write step how to make  vega's working with smos, yes, it can be cost something:)

I already posted how to reduce voltage on HiveOS. My cards run supercool and at 140-150W each.
Where? For Vegas?! 150w?! and 6Mh?! and supercool?! impossible)) I can find you posts about that...

Yesterday i try modify vega bios. I write new good powerplaytable directly in bios, calculate checksum, run Atikmdag patcher and burn.
But.. Nothing happened. Windows can't run card. Same for linux. Return original bios back.
I think if possible to do that its will be very cool for linux solution.
Yeah i play with --setsclk, but good consumption for v64 only 0 and 1. For v54 is 3, 4.
with "--setperflevel high" consumption like NeoScrypt or more) with "--setperflevel low" - consumption very low but also mining speed about 4M.

Best solution I found to reduce power is this command:
sudo /opt/rocm/bin/rocm-smi --setsclk 0 1 2 3 4 5 --setfan 155
Could do 4 or 5 for the clock depending on how much power you feel like burning.
Do not run at stock clocks. As you found out the power usage is crazy and your card's health will be a problem if you continue doing that.

I do not think there is an easy solution for voltage. Probably involves modifying drivers/kernels or similar. Maybe someone knowledgeable will share. But I doubt it, as this kind of information tends to be kept private for some reason.

Hello vega owners..
What about playing with pp_table in linux?
Power consumption too much for lyra2z without ppt. 300w per card.
rocm-smi  cannot control voltage. May be other tools? I don't know. And can't find answers in google and forums about Vegas.
Tools For RX5XX does not compatible to control vegs's.
---
I try to change hex settings to control voltage. But when apply i see errors and nothing happened except system freeze and kernel panic.

Kernel 4.13.0-43.
