Thanks for sharing that,an interesting article.For me,best reason is nr 1:
Agate Blockchain: with its high speed and very low transaction fees, the Agate blockchain is way different from the rest. Completely decentralised and highly scalable, the blockchain has Smart Contracts for daily transactions with total reliability and security. A token generator engine and a block explorer to duly record every transaction with transparency are other added highlights.
I think its incredibly important to have your own blockchain when you are dealing with something like ecommerce,so you are not dependant on 3rd party blockchains.

Did you receive any feedback from paypal, seeing that you are their crypto competition and all?
I doubt that PayPal contacted Agate,but Paypal CEO often talks about crypto,as expected as his Paypal will soon be obsolete.
Well if im paypal CEO i would also be afraid,as crypto projects like Agate will kick their ass!
Understandably, they are certainly aware of the superiority of crypto, only question is when Agate will replace PayPal
It would probably take a lot of time to fully replace PayPal as it is accepted in a lot of places now.
That's true, but noone expect Agate or any other platform to take over market instantly. Takeover will be gradual, but platforms like Aagate are future

Our hard cap is 25,000,000 USD and this is how we plan to spend raised funds:
Development (30%)
Efforts in developing additional features of the ecosystem, smart contract developments, architecture enhancements, collaborating with partners to integrate new features and completion of other milestone objectives.
Marketing (50%)
Investment in different marketing efforts with partners and using PR agencies to increase brand presence, showcase product, onboard end users and businesses using digital media, events, conferences and so on.
Operations (17 %)
Corporate development and expenditure across various company expenses such as premises, facilities, travel, administration, taxes etc.
Legal (3%)
Regulatory and legal expenses.
So you decided to spend most on the marketing. Smart choice I think, since marketing is extremely important and it will be needed to spread worldwide

I read before that you are considering accepting credit cards for your sale.Any update in that regard?
Ain't that easy to set up paying via credit cards, so most icos are avoiding that option. And it's easy to get to crypto anyway.

Are you going to have to turn toward centralizing at one point or will Agate remain decentralized no matter how big it gets?
To be honest that wouldn't make sense to centralise everything in the end. So I hope it will stay decentralised
