Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money
by
Karamabit_209
on 14/05/2019, 22:12:46 UTC
Even if these is not that "fresh" news, still it is still new and it is a good happening. We all know how influential Elon Musk is and how he can influence those people who are outside bitcoin to try it. And bitcoin is indeed brilliant, normal people really need to appreciate what bitcoin can do them. We all know how helpful it is to us, how it makes our lives easier. We can buy anything when the store is bitcoin friendly. It is even a form of investment. We can even play on an online casino using bitcoin where we can play multiple types of games like poker and the likes that will remove our boredom and still earning money. We can also trade this crypto to other cryptocurrencies. So bitcoin is indeed brilliant.

Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin
by

We all know how beneficial it is for us to have a currency like Bitcoin , something that we can use without any interference and without any middle man, but there is always a problem with things that we usually unsee because of the huge benefits it earns to us and this time it's environmental pollution.
Bitcoin as we know it requires mining to continue it's supply , but the thing is mining consumes Tons of energy and thus makes it harder for us to cope up with the stress it is putting up on the environment.
Pollution, global warming  Bitcoin is causing all this , one might argue that it won't be necessary after a while but what about right now ? It's hurting the environment and we have no stable solution for this.
Shouldn't we focus on this too ? Rather than other things ?
Well, don't blame it all to bitcoin because it is not the only one contributor to global warming and in fact, what it does is just a small fraction compare to what gold mining and other human activities do. And to tell you, bitcoin miners is now trying to use the alternatives. And for me, it worth it because of the pros it gave us like fast transaction speeds, a form of investment, an alternative way to buy things with an ease. It even allow us to play on an online casino where we could play poker, cards, and the likes on your home. So don't blame bitcoin to global warming, other polluters do a huge damage compare to bitcoin and bitcoin miners again try to lessen it's effects by doing the alternatives.

Re: what type of ideas you should share here?

There are many things that you could share here, literally everything related about bitcoin. You could share information about bitcoin itself, the activities related to it, news, and many more. You could even ask anything if you are new to here for you to learn. Me myself shared my experiences here like in bitcoin gaming where I sometimes mentioned gaming site that will allow them to ease their boredom yet entertained because of the multiple types of games. I share that it is like playing casino but online that makes it so accessible. I also share my experiences in trading, which I share techniques there. I also share my opinions regarding bitcoin issues and news.

I think it is a good thing. It makes us cautious on every transactions that we do. It makes us think about every decisions we do in payments. It is like gaming on a gaming site where you have an asset or an advantage but you must be cautious on playing it because if you doesn't, it might give you the opposite, a disadvantage in the end.

Re: Bitcoins labelled a gambling device

https://ihodl.com/topnews/2019-05-05/warren-buffett-claims-bitcoin-gambling-device/

According to the sources Warren Buffet apparently thinks of Bitcoin as a gambling device.
What do you guys think ?
Is this true or something that is disrespectful for our community.

I would say my answer is somewhere in the middle , we are unaware of the fact so as what it might be in the future , in the past 10 minutes but we still hold onto this thing because of hope.
I would rather compare it to share market , rather than a gambling device.
Obviously no, it is not a gambling device as a whole. Yes maybe some of us when bored, like me when I'm bored, I usually play on a gaming site where I play multiple games to ease my boredom and I even earn money while playing, and I am not the only one to do that,  many of us do that, but to label bitcoin as a gambling money, that is not right. Yes it can be use in gambling but that is not the only purpose of bitcoin, it can be used in trading and even in purchasing items. So no, bitcoin isn't a gambling device.

Re: New hate wave?
by
Karamabit_209
on 02/05/2019, 00:19:46 UTC
Bitcoin (BTC) received another negative assessment from central banks, this time Benoit Kerere from the executive board of the European Central Bank (ECB), calling the original cryptocurrency “an evil offspring of the financial crisis,” reports the Financial Times. That can be found on the network recently. Bitcoin fell and fiat experts immediately started a new wave of hate, do you think bitcoin will recover soon?
There would always be hate in everything, everyone. We cannot remove that. What we can do is ignore it. It is because even though we everytime insist their claims, there would still be hate. Again, just ignore it. Let them be. Example is me myself before, some of my friends tell many bad things about what I am doing which is trading because they said that it is very risky and I might ending up losing money, but it is not true. When I have know the darb exchange and have know how to trade there because it allows me to trade easily and it also helps me do my transaction in my businesses, I have prove their claims wrong. But what now? They still said that my decision is a bad decision because they insist that hodl is better, but what can I do?

Re: Can New Animated Series 'Bitcoin and Friends' Make Bitcoin Fun Again?
by
Karamabit_209
on 01/05/2019, 13:12:26 UTC
I think that series has no effect in bitcoin. The way they they presented is not that good and had some vulgar scenes that isn't appropriate to some viewers. It is not really a good series in promoting bitcoin. You can do many things in promoting bitcoin other than that. You can even tell other people to on how to use bitcoin and how to bitcoin related things like what i have done to one of my clasmates recently where I taught him on how to trade using a good exchange site like  darb exchange so that he can trade there. The good thing about it is that he can spread the word about bitcoin, and his listeners can do the same thing also.

Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you?
by
Karamabit_209
on 01/05/2019, 12:42:20 UTC
I was ask if I could teach what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is all.about. Since, I am.not.knowledgeable in technical.part then I may have some.difficulty on explaining it. All I know is that bitcoin has volatility in terms of.its market price and this is the only thing I can share with the guy.

I just want get ideas from you guys on where to start teaching the guy. Should I start on joining exchange?, creating Wallet?, how to transfer btc?,

Bitcoin is indeed a complicated technology. Is there any chance that this all could be done easily or simplied? Could you suggest that to me. Post your replies and thank.you in advance.

The best way to teach someone about bitcoin is show him what you are doing and let him do it also. That's the best way to teach someone. Me personally, I learned fast when someone show me how to do something and guide me doing that thing or activity. When I pass the know of mine to someone, I also do it, like what I do before when a friend of mine wants to know bitcoin and how to trade this cryptocurrency. I tell him to find a good exchange site specifically darb exchange which will be his companion in his trading career, taught him the basics which he can trade bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies in the exchange which I use, and others. I also tell him that he can also do transactions with the trading site I mentioned and after that, I let him do it. Now? He is now doing it for a while and thank me for what I taught him.

Re: Youtubers promoting bitcoin unexpectedly
by
Karamabit_209
on 29/04/2019, 22:55:42 UTC
Youtube is just one click away and it serves as our 100% entertainment on different aspects of videography such as news, documentaries, educational videos, music videos etc.. In a world full of social popularity, its not a surprise that youtubers exist like a mushroom. Vloggers or video bloggers doubled in such a small period of time also having the fact that mloe than popularity, they also receive money depending on the number of their subscribers.

The number one trending videos of the century is the "unboxing" videos which obviously documenting the unboxing of items such as gadgets and mystery boxes. I dont know but its really popular for our generation  since we are the people who gets easily curioused into something.

But how does this connect with the cryptocurrency?

If youre aware with the mystery box videos, you are particularly aware with those who exist in deep web. In this you will purchase a mystery box with some creepy  things on it, not ordinary ones, which most of subscribers request. But how can you purchase a mystery box from deep web? Yes. By purchasing it on bitcoin to hide your identity since we all know that the site lies bad people.

Youtubers always mention bitcoin and tell viewers about it even on slightest discription. They are not aware that they influence someone and they search about it. With this they promote bitcoin unconsciously and unexpectedly and i think its a good way to introduce bitcoin on mass media.
I think what you have mentioned is different in promoting bitcoin as a whole. It has a very little connection and it doesn't promote bitcoin at all. It just promote the mystery box, not bitcoin, or white paper, or why bitcoin is better than fiat money. It is like promoting a good gaming site by saying its name, but you doesn't mentioned its defining features like multiple types of games, multiple slots, good customer care, fast transactions, and etc that what makes a gaming site a good gaming site. Yes bitcoin is used to buy those box but it doesn't directly promoting bitcoin.

Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto
by
Karamabit_209
on 29/04/2019, 22:20:50 UTC
Hello everyone,
Forbes recently released a listing of the arena’s richest individuals in phrases of cryptocurrency. There are presently 19 people inside the global who personal an equivalent of greater than $350 million in crypto assets. The top owners of cryptocurrency inside the global amassed their wealth in a diffusion of methods, however maximum are founders of large cryptocurrency initiatives and cryptocurrency exchange platforms. Others are both individual traders or a part of funding groups and a few have established very worthwhile cryptocurrency mining operations. the one factor that the richest in crypto have in commonplace is that they are all of the sorts to “HODL” (hold on for expensive existence), that means that they hold directly to their cryptocurrency thru any downturns inside the marketplace and aren’t short to make crypto-to-crypto or crypto-to-fiat trades.
Thank you!
Outside crypto, does the ranking of richest people shows the real riches people? I think not. It is likely for them to hide themselves because it will make them to avoid a lot of trouble. That is the same with crypto, the list you aforementioned, we are sure that those aren't really the riches people in this industry. Let's take playing in a gaming site. That gaming site has a multiple type of games and luckily, you win majority of it, would you likely to tell your relatives that you won? Not right?

Re: If Bitcoin means Decentralisation why did it brought then a centralised
by
Karamabit_209
on 29/04/2019, 21:52:29 UTC
and centrally by few humans controlled cryptocurrency index, that discriminates between cryptocurrencies?

isnt that contradicting itself. is bitcoin just a fake decentralisation to earn lambos like the bitcoin hodlers are saying?

in my oppinion yes.
Originally, bitcoin was created to be decentralized. It means that you can do a p2p transaction without other people knowing it. So the bitcoin itself promotes decentralization. It is just that sometimes, there are people manipulating the index, but the bitcoin itself doesn't, the people behind it does. You can compare it to a gaming site. Originally, a  fair gaming site have an algorithms that the odds are 50 percent, but there are sites that doesn't promote that, that is why you need to be vigilant in choosing the right gaming site to play with.

Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not?
by
Karamabit_209
on 29/04/2019, 01:28:50 UTC
I recently watched the movie Goosebumps 2 with my kids and Bitcoin was once again mentioned briefly in this movie. The one boy mentioned Bitcoin and the other boy called it Nerd money.  Roll Eyes

So it got me thinking, why would people label Bitcoin as Nerd money, when people use electronic payment options like PayPal every day? What feature about Bitcoin gives people this impression about Bitcoin?

The first thing that comes to mind is the technical IT knowledge that people need to understand the concept about this technology and also it's origin amongst very highly skilled programmers and developers in the IT industry.

I am definitely not a nerd, but I am more than willing to carry that label, if it means that Bitcoin should be part of my skill and knowledge set in this world.  Grin

Bitcoin Nerds will rule this world!
No, obviously people who uses bitcoin generally are not a nerd. If you will try to find the definition of a nerd, it doesn't suit as all. The biggest factor that validate my statement is that a nerd is an introvert person and lacks social skills, who surely doesn't suit as all, like me. I am a good social person. I usually talk and engage to social activities, which a nerd doesn't do. For example, when I am bored, I play on a gaming site . I have a great regular playmates there whom I played and talk with. When sometimes I have problems there, I usually call customer care and have no problem dealing with them, talking to them what problems I have encountering and what they or I can do to deal with that problem. A nerd can never do that, he usually weaken when he or she will talk to people even though it is only a call.

Re: Shower thought. Why is Bitcoin hard to define?
by
Karamabit_209
on 28/04/2019, 23:22:22 UTC
Are you to a non bitcoiner? Because it seems like you are one. It is actually easy to define bitcoin, it is a digital currency, or cryptocurrency. Tell him that it is a currency but a digital one. Like the typical currency, you can use your bitcoin to buy things, you can even use it to play on gaming sites that I personally do when I'm bored so I am entertain. You can even exchange bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies like to the typical currency. You can also invest it.

Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Well, the state of bitcoin in the Philippines is the same to most countries. Just ordinary things.
Specify it bro, that's the point of this post.
Ok, my bad. Many people here in the Philippines are becoming aware of the potential of bitcoin that is why there are now stores who are accepting bitcoin as a payment method. Me personally, I haven't taught that bitcoin can even use in payments before but now, I am using this crypto exchange site that can be used in online businesses, and even physical transactions! The site is good and the transaction speed is very fast. Other than that is many people also do hodling here and join bounties which they can earn money. Well, there are some who do scams but people here unlike before are now becoming smart not to be scammed.

I bet he doesn't know anything about financial institution, obviously. Because if you know them, they take every opportunities they can get and they are very stable and trustworthy. They will just adapt bitcoin to become stronger.
But not all financial institutions adapt bitcoin though, does it mean they aren't stronger than those who don't adapt bitcoin?
Well, it depends, but what I am saying is the one that is open to changes and the one who will adapt to these changes are the one that will be more successful. Like me, before I am just focused on hodling, but as we know, it takes time and patience, but how about those people who needs money immediately like me? Then one day, my friend introduced me to online gambling. It has risk, but I take the opportunity and adapt to it by finding a perfect site (multiple slots and types of games, entertaining games, fair play, good transactions speeds, and etc), and learning it and got by use to it. Same with financial institutions, the one that will adapt and cooperate with new advancements like bitcoin, it can help them grow.

Re: How do if the Bitcoin Sending Fee will be super high or super low?
by
Karamabit_209
on 08/04/2019, 06:35:22 UTC
Do I find out the hard way after I make my purchase with the educated guess that Bitcoin pricing is stable long enough that from my understanding the more popular Bitcoin is worth and the more money each Bitcoin is worth among other factors is what influences the Bitcoin Fee is there an app of some sort I can use on my Cell Phone to let me know the current Blockchain Wallet Sending Fees will be as that is the Wallet I am using for simply Sending Bitcoin into and Sending out of.

Any help explaining how this works would be greatly appreciated as it is frustrating not knowing what my Bitcoin Fee is going to be hence I don't know how much money in Bitcoin more than what I am spending on my purchase that I need to acquire?
I would be honest, your English is really bad man. You should try to learn it so that you can communicate to other people with ease. Well, to answer your question with regarding to transaction fees,  visit this site . This site has one of the cheapest transaction fee available. And not only that, it has very fast transaction speeds, has no currency risk, and you can even pay an online business or a physical transactions by the use of it.

Re: Spot the Newbie Problems: Bitcoin or Not?
by

Think and assess everything before you make a decision. Those newbies obviously didn't research that much and the consequences of this laziness is sometimes everything.
But we, those who are not new to these, must help them by making them aware though.
Well yeah,  but again, if they are lazy to read it, then what it is for? Before you go to an action, you need to think about it and gather information before doing it. Like on trading, before trying it you need first to find the perfect site for cryptocurrency exchanges (converting small crypto dusts, instant transaction speed, no currency risk, a gateway to payment for  online and physical activities,  operating globally, etc) but you can't find it when you don't try and you need perseverance to learn it. Same applies to the post mentioned, you can only see how those people wanted to earn fast because of doing things fast without thinking and assessing if that site is a scam or a legit one.
