I'm a newb to the crypto currency market. I hear the relation to the marketcap and worth of a coin alot. Could you explain this relation? Or point me to a resource(s) to read about that?
Correct me if i'm wrong, cause i'm a noob as well
but i believe its due to supply and demand and how easy it is to gain it.If you compare it to precious medals with a limited supply and demand is relatively high, price will go up. For instance if you could get gold easily and everywhere in the world without a lot of effort, the price wouldn't be as high as it is now. Cuz it is easy to gain, supply is high, and demand will be lower.
So imo, xvg will be implemented to some extra exchanges now since it won some polls, people are getting more interested, it is getting more known, 'brandawareness' increases, demand will increase so price -can- go up.
But since there is still a lot of supply, it will not go sky rocket yet.
Of course there are still other variables which affect the prices...
You are kinda right... The thing with Verge mostly is, that most of investors are not familiar with any coins, what that coin actually does and is. They buy, sell and trade based on number that are showing on coinmarketcap. People dont read and study coins. When people will actually start to study certain coins what it can do, what is the purpose and such, they will start to invest in that coin.
The biggest problem with Verge ATM in my opinion is, that is relatively unknown. We are a little week on marketing, but we are getting there. When more and more people will see Verge and actually start reading what it is and does, im sure the price will go higher...
It doesnt matter how many coins there are. In the long run more the better. In my opinion it is, at least in top 100 coin, Verge is the 2nd most undervalued coin atm. I think only MGO is more undervalued. But we will see soon enough how this will unfold

.But, isn't that with most of the coins? Most people are just investing for the quick money, see some green numbers and focus on that? From my point of view, I will hodl xvg because of the great opportunities I see in the coin and the great community and active devs.
What would you suggest xvg could do more regarding marketing? It already is a big step -imo- that we will be registered to some other exchanges and visibility will increase, so more people will start reading into the coin and realize it actually is a really undervalued coin.
I will remain a loyal xvg supporter and in the meantime getting more known with cryptocurrency and everything around it

This should help you. Verge and Doge are both Script coins and share a common root. Verge includes many other algorithms as well. You would do much better to buy a miner to get some real hash going on it, very profitable right now although I haven't seen a block all day!

Hi, i've been a silent watcher for quite some time now because I didn't want to get involved too much. But here I am
.First of all, thank you for this! At first I only wanted to buy, hold, support etc; but since I got really exited about Verge; I want to try out some mining myself and get some experience in this too. Downside, I have zero experience in it so this could help me out a lot.
So, noob question; with just a random spare laptop, what will I be able to mine on a daily basis?
Furthermore, as I said i'm really positive regarding Verge and I will for sure support this coin. So
@Dev: do you need some support from the Dutch side for anything?
Overall: I can understand that you see lots of posts from people with less posts as Troll, but reacting like that will cause that less people create an account because nobody will take them serious just due to a rank. Dont get me wrong, i'm not here to troll just share my opinion.
