I have used the http://www.heatwallet.com/#/login exchange to sell some XEL.

I would advice people not to do it! The BTC withdrawal is extremely delayed as they do it by hand. Now apparently they delay even more since BTC is in free fall.

Would you please give me the download location to the Windows installation of the XEL node? I want to run it locally. I could not find it on the Elastic website or the first post of this thread.

The donations were registered in XEL genesis block, and they are valid. The genesis block will be used for redeeming XEL once we have mainnet (hopefully soon).

Selling now is impossible - you can treat those offers as, well... market pre-screening :-)

If lite wallet will come up, those offers can be also used for OTC transactions.

Is there a place where the genesis block with the public keys can be seen?

If access to XEL will be granted using the private key that was used for the donation BTC, does this mean that if I buy a XEL share from someone, I cannot be sure if the owner sells to multiple people, because the key cannot be changed!?

I think the client should display the current version installed on the dashboard. The news widget says what the latest version is but some user may not notice they are not running the latest version and are too lazy to go often to the client info option. NXT client displays a warning if you are not using the latest version. NXT is also easy to update. With nem you have to go looking for the download. It's so 1999.
