Hi, everybody! I've recently upgraded Decredition to 1.5.1, and now every time I launch it I get this kind of error
I have to restart the app at least a couple of times before I can actually open my wallet. Has anybody encountered the same problem? I'd like to know how to solve it, it's a bit irritating.

Having this problem in the last few versions of the wallet. Asked in discord chat and got a reply that my hardware might be corrupted.
So every time I am opening a wallet (once a month to buy a ticket) I delete blocks_ffldb folder
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Dcrd\data
And the wallet downloads the whole blockchain again and opens it. Kind of annoying but as I don't open my wallet often I can live with it.
Thanks for sharing, but I'd rather restart Decredition a couple of times, would be much faster anyway. Just realised that I don't have that much of a problem after all

1.51 is working perfectly for me, where 1.4 wouldn't sync.

Yeah, everything is fine. It's all started after I updated Decredition, nothing else changed.

Is this project totally dead or what? Discord is silent, Twitter as well. Most of the repositories on GitHub haven't been updated for almost a year... It's traded only on Bittrex and Upbit, but I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to delist it

Current ticket price is 158.01 DCR as per Dcrstats.com and I think this will greatly increase in the coming days. It's quite interesting to see that it's only on the 124.37 DCR per ticket last December 4 and now jumped to that number today. What's the reason behind this? What the hell?
The reason is supply and demand. If you look at the tickets bought on the PoS Ticket Price, DCR chart on dcrstats.com, you will notice ~1500 tickets were bought Dec 6th because the ticket price started going up. This is much more than the average ~700 a day, so the ticket prices spike to average this out. Also with over 51% of all DCR supply staked, there is just less room for tickets.
Yeah, I pretty much understand how the law of supply and demand works. But there were even greater spikes of volume throughout this year which didn't cause such increases in price. That's why I was a little surprised to see such price action. Maybe it's because there's more DCR in the market now, so the same movements happen on a larger scale.
Could be. I'm betting its more due to the pool size being consistently full. Then, when spikes have occurred, it causes the difficult algo to geometrically up the price ->->-> big ass price spikes.

I mean not taking into account price fluctuations. Just how much more PIVX I will have in my wallet after a certain period of time.

Guys, who's staking PIVX here? How profitable is it? Different sources give the annual yield in the range from 4,8% to 9,4%, but I'd like to hear from someone with actual experience.

So what? I don't see how it could affect the ticket price. The price of Decred itself, yes, but not the ticket price.

They have banned me from the telegram chat because I wrote MGO ETH couple has been removed from bitfinex (trading volume was zero anyway). This "project" is the biggest scam I've ever seen and they act in a very fishy way

Honestly, this whole story about new investors and stuff looks like an exit scam attempt.
It could be just an exit pump. Or a pre-pump, in which case they're gonna release more "exciting news" in the near future and pump it even harder. They have yet to convince me otherwise
