Instead of getting sucked into confrontational rhetoric, I’ll try to use the critique for something positive.
So, I’ll go back to the drawing board, run some numbers, play with some ideas, and see if I can come up with something that works.
There are plenty of online casinos that would love to take your money, I will not go that route.

OP did you try your website yourself? Most people here either have an antivirus software or an adblock plugin or both. I think you need to install adblock, ublock, avast etc and try to play it yourself again.

I know what a URL shortener is but I just couldn't play the game. Don't know if it was my AV or adblock.

Before you go all condescending on us, let's look at the facts shall we? I have Avast installed, I run Brave, the instructions specifically state that you need to turn off your adblocker. I believe I also noted in a previous post that I personally have no problems what so ever clicking through the short links. I even gave you a rough estimate of how long it takes me on average.
Going one step further, it seems most users on average clears the short links in some 30'ish seconds.
So, between the two of us, who's the one with a problem here?

Now, there is some merit to the critique.
Some short links are broken, some are overly complicated, some take way too long, etc. But I need your help figuring out which ones to drop. Just making unsubstantiated accusations and whining in general isn't going to help solve anything. So please, try to be a little constructive here. If there is a problem, tell me some details so that I can fix it. I already killed the ad that was triggering the alerts.

At first, I got interested, since one can play for free. Even though it seems to me that the whole point of scratching is literally doing it physically, I wanted to give it a try. However, my antivirus software also warned me and blocked some threats. Moreover, grabbing the golden ticket was simply impossible. Either the website is trying to scam people/load them with spam/harm them in some other way or it's collaborating with very nasty advertising providers. Until all of this is sorted out and cleaned up, I'm definitely staying away from this website.

Please share which shortener you experienced? I am trying to weed out the rotten eggs, but I need to know which ones are bad.
I personally have no problem clicking through these shorteners, but I'm familiar with the concept. On average it takes me maybe 20-30s in total to get a free ticket.
Since the ad I had on the page has been removed, there shouldn't be any more alerts now?

AFAIK those are false alerts triggered by Adf.ly, but it seems it's affecting enough people that I'll have to turn that particular ad off.
(Seems it's a NOD32 problem?)
Avast isn't alerting me to anything troublesome at least. Regardless, I turned the ad off and that should be the end of any alerts.

Quidat> The ad has been removed, it should solve the issue.

rijaljun> Looks weird how? What browser are you using? Microsoft browsers are not supported which is clearly indicated on the page. The short link earns you a ticket. If you win, you can opt to either withdraw your winnings or buy new tickets.
I don't see how it can be made any simpler. Click button -> click link -> follow link -> scratch card -> profit...

Bitkoyns> I had a choice, make it available for everyone or make it a full on "casino page". I prefer to provide fun little distractions that everyone can play with. If you'd rather deposit money and play for high stakes, that's a personal preference and quite ok.
If you have any ideas on how to finance a game without forcing the players to pay, I'm all ears.

mindrust> exe.io is a link shortener, they provide an interstitial advertising page before redirecting you to the scratch card. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and the prizes has to be financed somehow. If you are unfamiliar with link shorteners there are plenty of information available on line.

There are some prizes that are quite substantial, but you have to live in the real world. If you're expecting to find a "click a button to become millionaire" website, I'm afraid you'll have to keep looking.
If anyone is interested in a little distraction where you can win some bitcoin if you're lucky, this is the right place. Maybe you're sitting bored at work, scratch a ticket... Maybe you're waiting for the bus, scratch a ticket...
It's free, it doesn't cost you anything, and you could just be the lucky winner of a big prize.

There are plenty of online casinos out there who would be more than happy to take your money, I'm not one of those. I just provide something fun to play with if you have some time to spare. Smiley

PS there are plenty of lives that have been destroyed by gambling addiction, I will not be a part of that tragedy. iScratch.it is a safe zone, you never leave with less than you entered. You can only go up!

Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom
by

If you buy coins with strong fundamentals, you reduce the risk of getting stuck with shit coins. If you just buy whatever is pumping, the danger is much greater. And diversifying makes it possible to balance the risk, and focus on gaining more than you loose. There will almost always be some losses, you just need to gain more...
Everyone can’t make 20% gains every day. I’m not convinced that we have hit the absolute bottom with alts, at least when talking price relative to bitcoin. But I don’t see much of a downside either. Buying in now will get you coin at a bargain price, but it can still take a while before alt season hits. So, don’t buy and expect instant takeoff.

Coins move in cycles, to be successful, you need to buy low and sell high.
If you dump your coins when they go down, you’re doing the opposite.
There is a difference between cutting your losses and getting rid of dying coins vs getting spooked and panic selling a coin that will rebound shortly.

It’s not always about HODL’ing folks. You can make big gains trading alts even when they are down. I woul always suggest a three pronged approach. 1. Get a core position in bitcoin, 2. Get some alts for HODL, 3. Get some alts for trading if you’re up for the task.
However, trading isn’t easy, and if you can’t keep a level head you’ll probably end up loosing. Trading on emotions is a Nono. And don’t be greedy, sell when you have reached your goal.

It would be nice if everyone gave a short explanation why they like the coins they recommend.
You could also include a note on your strategy. HODL, trade, or what?

Here are my $0.02. I’m not a professional or anything, so take it for what it is.
I don’t see alt season kicking off in earnest until bitcoin is starting to close in on it’s ATH. FOMO will be setting in and smart money take the opportunity to take profit and move part of their position into alts while still getting top pay for their BTC.
The market reacts a little slow. Once the smart money have finished the reallocation, bitcoin pulls back and alt season takes off.
This doesn’t mean you can’t make great gains trading alts in the meantime. I just suspect it’s a little early to buy alts for HODL. I’m sure they will take off at some time. I’m pretty sure they will go up as well. I just think bitcoin will be a better bet until it starts closing in on its ATH. Unless you get lucky and pick the alt hitting a pump at the perfect time. Or you are active in managing your portfolio...

A question for all the people recommending the same boring “top” coins. What kind of gains are you hoping for?
In a week’s time I’ve made roughly a 65-70% gain just by trading DENT. And DENT is currently down compared to where it’s been recently. If you only focus on the “well established” coins, I’ll bet you won’t even come close to these kind of numbers. If you’re just looking to HODL, I’d go bitcoin and be done with it. The alt coins are in a very precarious situation at the moment.
It can still take a long time before alt season hits in earnest and I just don’t see passive alt hodling as very productive at the moment. Now, if you actively manage your portfolio and stay on the ball, you can make great gains from trading alts. I just don’t see a HODL strategy as optimal atm.

In my opinion, the recommendation of two good altcoins is ethereum and binance, the rest I am not very sure about the future and its sustainability,
IMHO it comes down to investment ideology. Do you go for the sure thing with a lesser gain or do you go for the big risk/big reward and hope for the moon shot?

Two alts? I’d probably go with IOTA and DENT. IOTA for the big picture and longer view. DENT has just had a dip and could possibly bring massive returns in shorter timespan. As always, there are no guarantees, but these should provide a pretty solid alt foundation.

The Toolbox is dead, long live the new Toolbox, only now it's called ezLink.it.
Not only are there more URL shorteners listed (100+) than you'll ever need, there is also a member section with a very powerful API.

EzLink is NOT your average URL shortener, in fact it's NOT an URL shortener at all.
EzLink IS a tool for maximizing revenue from all your regular shorteners.

So, what's so magical about the API?
From your personal selection of favorite URL shorteners, the API automatically selects the highest paying short link for each individual request. It also makes sure that the number of generated short links for a visitor stay below the maximum number of views allowed per ip for each URL shortener.

So, forget about counting links, creating complicated tracking systems, having long lists of shorteners, etc.
With ezLink.it everything is already taken care of and you only have to worry about ONE api_url.
You have complete control over your shortener selection and it's easily managed in your dashboard.

Using the API to create ezLinks is like the name implies, super easy.
So, browse the page and find some new awesome shorteners and/or become a member and unlock the true potential of ezLinks.
Anyone can become a member and it's 100% free to join.
Any URL shorteners with a verified referral (toolbox refs and linkz.guru refs are valid) can be used with the API completely free.
Old URL shortener accounts without the appropriate referral can also be used with the API through ezCredits.
Credits can be earned with the ezLink.it referral program or purchased for a very modest cost.

My goal has always been to make this a free service that everyone can profit from. Now I feel I'm close enough to go public.

So, don't just short links, ezLink them!

kemafaucet.com restructuring
by
Kema
on 19/05/2019, 04:55:32 UTC
Hi everyone.
For the last 6 months or so, I've been going back and forth on where I want to take kemafaucet.com in the future.
Today I'm finally admitting to myself and the world that there won't be a quick fix for this one.
My main focus has been developing different scripts and even though I've been trying to juggle multiple projects at the same time, it's not fair to you users. You deserve my full attention and I'm unable to deliver at the moment. In the past 6 months I've had spinal surgery twice and recovering from that has taken it's toll. So, kemafaucet.com is now officially in restructuring.
I'm sure I will be back with my faucets again, but I can't set any eta. It could be a couple of months or a year, there is no telling exactly when.
So, thank you for your support.
I have made many new friends through my faucets and I've had a great time running them.
Almost everyone on this board has been awesome and I hope you can forgive me for putting the faucets in park until a later time.
I will still be active here on this board.
So, thank you everyone.
