Re: bitcoins with homomorphic value (validatable but encrypted)
by

All these problems, like hiding the transfer amount , and anonymization, etc were solved (*) by my Appecoin protocol.
Appecoin proofs are relatively small, and fast to verify.

The fact that I didn't publish it (for a year) is that I still have moral doubts of enabling a completely anonymous payment system. Somebody has to proof that the benefit of such system outweigh the costs of its illegal use.

I hope Adam you're sure that you solved that dilemma when you finally build your own protocol.

(*) This is not completely true, since my paper has received little peer review, it might contain mistakes.
I hope your understanding of cryptography is better than your understanding of morality.

I really wish people would stop worrying so easily (and stop expecting price won't jump around). Learn to shrug off volatility, because it is NOT going to be a smooth ride as we go to $10,000 or $100,000. You'll get shaken off unless you're made of steel.

It was obvious we had to take a breather. Double-exponential growth never lasts. Exponential can, but not double-exponential. Hanging around the $200 mark for a week is required in order to get back onto the exponential trendline, which we got ahead of. We of course won't sit exactly at $200 but will bounce around a bit. It's just killing time until the rise continues.
Lost a lot of money by holding, but this crash feels great. Now I won't need to be so scared as we push through the ATH. Let's consolidate around $200 for a while. I'm feeling really bullish.

Yeah, don't worry

If you claim anything else, you are tryin' to sell some bullshit.
Listen to this guy - he's an expert bullshit seller so he knows what he's talking about.

Re: Please do not change MAX_BLOCK_SIZE

Ya know what?  I think you've check-mated us decentralized folks.  A big block can eat a little block, and the SPV's are pawns who have no choice but to upgrade.

I'll have to think about it a bit more, but I think the you and your employer are going to win this one.  So, carry on and make me rich.  My BTC will flow, but they will be to had only dearly.
Try taking your meds first before thinking. You might at least generate something coherent.

He stole and released critical intelligence that could result in harming diplomatic relations international shakedowns, and put American soldiers murderers lives at risk during wartime their crimes (which is aiding and abetting the enemy victims).

Re: POLL: Is TradeFortress a scammer?

I see Tradefortress has posted this in MoneyPackTrader.com's trustlist:

Quote
Accuses me of doing things I did not do.

And at the same time he posts this:

Anyway, show me the damages I've done to you. Which is nothing other than your sites relutation, which I think is fair - an eye for an eye. I regularly try to break into sites, and I always disclose it to the owners without any malicious damages done. For some people, I do it publicly.

Thanks for advertising my pentesting skills too! Wink

So in the thread he admits to unauthorized "penetration testing" and then writes something contradictory as a trust comment.

We need to spawn more Overlords.
I see. So that's the solution to the block size problem.

As technician I can say if 100% load can kill CPU by overheat then the heatsink is installed improperly. Probably semen was used instead of thermal grease.

Re: Why the Bitcoin rules can't change (reading time ~5min)

For my part, I feel more comfortable with a solution in which decisions are made in a transparent manner even if it means that people who have different points of view than my own have a voice.  I think it is possible to hold a variety of competing points of view without being 'dishonest'.

Hiding or discounting one point of view and decision making processes would create the most doubt in my mind.
Every one of your posts exudes such a slimy malignancy that I want to take a shower after reading them.

I just want to make sure people understand that this isn't my argument at all. I don't care about those with 56.6k connections, I care about me. I don't care about the 1Mb limit, I care about me. I want to be a sovereign user of Bitcoin and I don't care about how that is achieved or what costs it carries. And if I can't get that from Bitcoin, I'm out.
Good riddance.
