I also do not think that the Devs would like to sell the Dev funds and run away. They would have done it in January of 2018 when both price and trading volumes were highest. But in order to make new investors feel more safe, wouldn't there be any possibility to lock the Dev fund? What about smart contract locking the coins and releasing them only after approval of VoteCentral, is something like this technically possible?

I'm ok with that possibility. Of course don't launch the airdrop now. Time the market cycle and do it at the most advantageous time.

Any way it looks like it's just me and DeepFan in this conversation so I'm going to allocate my time else where.

I'm here too reading it. Continue.

I try not to rely too heavily into one news source. Sometimes you get into the habit of going to the same website due to I guess muscle memory. For example CNN. Even though I'm not a big fan of it, when I'm in front of the computer, just out of having I type in CNN.

Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage

First time hearing of this. Has anyone have experience storing their files in this?

All I know is I looked into this 9 months ago..and even with the cheapest of "used' equipment I could not make this storage stuff fly

by making any size box in any way/shape/form worth doing and profitable. It is all data hall folks that do this on the side as far as I can tell.

So until that part is fixed...we are due at BEST to sideways.....IMHO...but again, the devs are failing with this project in so many directions

from sia-tech/grin debacle\little use coin with high difficulty due to over mining or how shall I say instead, driving up difficulty without

and corresponding use or adoption of that coin so IMHO vs adoption or hell at least the storage thing in break-even mode

am not encouraged by siacoin at this point,  at all Sad

Brad

Thanks for the update Brad. It seems as though the concept is hard to pull off.

Race doesn't matter. What matter is the individual's IQ.

If a black individual has a 125 iq, and the average IQ for whites is 100, does that mean that he's less special than them?

What truly matters is the person's character.

Or it could be that you're having delusions, assuming that everybody knows who you are and what you're talking about.

Just stop for a second and consider that possibility.

Don't be a pain and a nuisance.

If you're a person with strong fringe personal beliefs trying to impose your will as they try to live their own personal life, it's only going to end very badly.

No way. member can't take action without 2 family member confirmations.

Oh. That sounds better then.

Sucks to see the same person give the OP a negative rating. It seems as though it's a personal thing with this Lauda guy. An abuse of power.

Any upcoming news?

I think the scariest world problems have to do with child trafficking, and kidnapping in general.

Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency?

Hackers are an issues and a negative for crypto, and for that people should keep their money off their exchange. The potential issue that I might see with people new cryptos is that they might find it more convenient to leave their coins on exchanges, rather downloading and installing a wallet, block chain etc. Thinking it's not going to happen to them.

On top of that, if they are the type that will find it inconvinient, then they're probably the type who don't do things like backing up their files, and things that computer savvy people do.

Re: Is it true that a whale moved 8k BTC?
by

on 12/06/2018, 01:44:34 UTC
Hello,
I heard that there is a whale that moved 8k BTC to an exchange and that what caused the price to go down in addition of Stop-Losses being triggered. Is that true? What do you think? If it's true I consider it to be a big problem as we clearly see that whales manipulate the market easily which is harmful.
I think this does not affect much to the market price of bitcoin just transferring a amount like 8K BTC will be just a normal trade in the list. The most amount of effect on the price of bitcoin appears only when a large number of community invests in it or sells it a single person cannot manipulate the market and cant make such a sudden change.
if we compare amount that moved to an exchange, its not ti much.but behind on that it's action influence other people to sell bitcoin they have.and now its have big effect in market.bitcoin reduce more than ten percent because of this.

I remember in early 2014, the head guy of Ripple announced that he was selling a large portion of his Ripples. The price plummeted, and it seemed like such a naive move. I never looked at Ripple ever again. Big mistake by me.

I just came home from the supermarket and this girl had the hottest body. Drove me nuts. Bodies like her is the reason why there's no nudity in public. It would be overwhelming.
