there's a new narrative emerging that life will never return to normal after the coronavirus pandemic:

I don't think people realize that there is no normal to go back to anymore.
At absolute minimum:
1) Supply & demand has been reallocated across the economy, with travel & events zero'd out, remote work & masks to infinity 2) Virus permanently changes public behavior 3) Supply chain disruption just starting
Even if the virus did vanish in a puff of smoke and everyone went "back to work", the behavior of billions of people and every country has been permanently changed.
Demand won't quickly come back, borders won't easily reopen, international relations won't be the same.
what do you think---are entire industries about to disappear because of the pandemic? will some aspects of the economy and general life irreversibly change after this?
or are these people just drama queens who are blowing everything out of proportion? maybe people will forget all about the coronavirus in a couple years time and nothing will change. that's what happened after the H1N1 scare.
I think we will go back on our normal lifestyle. Because we have to, if we didn't go back to the normal economy will continues to go down all the government funds will ve drain and its good to know that China and Russia found a cure for this virus not totally cure but we're going there.
This had been a topic ever since I have joined this forum. Bitcoin is even far to be considered as a medium of exchange since most people are keeping them as an investment tool. Not to mention it's accessibility, limited people have it and limited establishments accept it and some are not even aware of it.
we can't say what will happen in the future. What if every people will will be aware that there's another currency other than the bills and coins which being use everyday in everyone's country?

Re: Is Bit[Suspicious link removed]d for the economy?
Bitcoins have three useful qualities in a currency, according to The Economist in January 2015: they are "hard to earn, limited in supply and easy to verify". Economists define money as a store of value, a medium of exchange and a unit of account, and agree that bitcoin has some way to go to meet all these criteria.
i don't think that earning bitcoin is hard. Let's just that this post of your's one step for earning bitcoin. Almost all of us here in this forum is here to earn money. Practically saying you won't waste a time to post something here if you don't have interest on money

As if now that bitcoin community is getting bigger by the time pass. Is there's a time that bitcoin will be the next main currency in the world comes in your mind?. Is there any possibility that will happen?
In my own opinion, if COVID-19 will start to spread and make a vast number of cases again, I assume that there will be a massive riot in every country because a lot of people will die in starved due to losing their jobs and businesses getting bankrupt. That is why scientists, doctors, nurses, etc. are doing everything for them to provide a vaccine for COVID-19 to prevent this kind of situation from happening.
How i wish to have that kind if people in the community who are willing to follow the rules of the government. But sadly humanity is too stubborn. I really admire the taiwanese people cause they are the first country that defeat that virus and now look at them they're a covid free country. I salute to the taiwanese people and to their government.
